Look no further than McKinney Dodge for all your car needs. This dealership boasts Dodge, Chrysler,…read moreJeep, Ram, and Mazda vehicles, so there's a ton of inventory. The salesmen are very personable and knowledgeable- they even go attend yearly trainings hosted by Chrysler. To date the most helpful sales person I have worked with is Mike Henry. Mike has been with McKinney Dodge for about 20 years so he is very knowledgable about cars and how to get the most bang for your buck. Furthermore, Mike is very happy go lucky and he'll make it feel like you're buying a car from a friend! Additionally the service department at McKinney is not too shabby. The service department will work with you to mitigate any vehicular issues and help to ensure your car is safe to drive! Pro tip is to schedule your service department visit two weeks out to ensure you'll get the best appointments.

We were told to get an official trade in offer from carmax and come back and they would match it. We did that and when we called back to come in the next day to purchase the vehicle they said the would no longer meet the trade in offer from carmax and wanted the vehicle back on demo. Spent hours of our time getting that trade in offer from carmax in person and then being told they changed their minds.

I didn't hear anything so I called at the end of the day on Wednesday (no one called me) and I was told that there was a back up and my car hadn't gotten on the lift. I then called on Thursday to get an update and was told that someone would get back to me. Someone finally called and said that I would have to pay an additional $100 for "more testing", and that they didn't "think" it was the transmission and was probably the catalytic converter. I agreed and then called back on Friday and was told that it hadn't happened yet and that someone would get back to me. The following Monday, I reached out to see what was happening and was told that the shop had just opened (it had been opened for almost an hour - and it's Monday, the day the 2 work-day-a-week diagnostician was supposed to be there, but whatever) and that someone would get back to me by the end of the day to give me an update. Once again, no update by the end of the day and no call on Tuesday morning. So I ended up going down, found out that the "additional" testing hadn't happened (they obviously didn't charge me for that). I ended up having the car towed somewhere else. The gentleman at the front desk explained that there was a back-up, etc., but the fact that there was almost zero communication is pretty unacceptable when you've had someone's car for a week. Communication is key and I honestly would have been happy with a text notification - the customer shouldn't be the one reaching out constantly for information. BTW, the new shop called me about 20 min after I dropped the car off and will have it ready at 2pm.
