We used this Driving School for our daughter's driving practice. After the first session, my daughter had the confidence to drive around in the regular streets. After the second one she was able to drive on the highway. The third session was used to practice routes that a typical DMV behind the wheel test does.. that was helpful to understand and I was able to take my daughter a few more times to practice before the actual exam day. At the end, her driving test was successful and she was able to get the license. I loved my experience from Start to Finish. It was well worth every penny to have both the Behind the Wheel Instruction and I added in the day of the test and to use the schools vehicle. My son loved having Richard as his instructor and we made a special request for him to be the one to be with him at the DMV as well. There are so many times experiences aren't worth more than a mention but we had such a GREAT experience I wanted to take the time to leave this review. My son was more than prepared for his test and passed this morning on his first try. We had a good experience with East Bay Driving School. My teen had some lessons with another school previously and unfortunately they didn't really prepare them well enough for their behind the wheel test. However, we did 3 lessons and the test experience with East Bay and everything went well. All instructors were kind, patient and explained what would be required on the test. Because my teen could drive well, they took them out for some freeway experience, which was great. Test day was a success. A special shout out to Kevin who really is a great and kind instructor. We had the pleasure of working with the San Ramon location, and I do mean pleasure. I believe life is about balance, when you're dealing with a demonic organization, like the DMV, it's nice to have some angels on your side. Sheri, and Pete from East Bay Driving School were on our side, and that helped! We had numerous issues with scheduling and even had the DMV move an appointment (apparently individual offices are allowed to do that due to staffing issues, I didn't know that until I had a 90 minute phone call to the DMV). Pete is not only an amazing person and, according to my son, a great instructor, he was very accommodating throughout the scheduling issue. It took me 10 years to finally get over my fear of driving and get my license. I took 3 driving class at East bay driving school. It was easy communication with Shery . She was always available and made the process and taking dmv appointment quickly. My two classes with Instructor Richard. He made sure I am not afraid of driving or being on road. My third class was with instructor Jeff . He made sure that I am aware of the rules and stay out of lane confusion. Both of them were amazing instructors and I don't think I would have ever got my driver license if it wasn't because of these two instructors. I am glad I took these classes. The best driving school for teens! My 17 year old was so nervous driving and you know what they say about dads teaching their own kids to drive. Not every parent knows how to teach their children to drive and honestly, while I know how to drive, I don't remember most of the DMV driving rules in California after over 30+ years. I taught my daughter a few times, got into arguments and it was just stressful for both of us. Hence, last week, I contacted Sheri from Eastbay Driving School again, told her what was going on, signed up for another two series of driving lessons as I think it's best for my daughter and the general public to get her professional training. I created a list of all the items and questions, forwarded to Sheri and Devon today before her lesson, and she just came back all happy. No father - daughter stress, no wrong info and train my daughter the professional way. I contacted a couple of other driving schools before Eastbay and can tell you they CARE the most. It's not just about the rates, it's about them and their instructors actually caring and making a connection - especially with teenagers. This is a great driving school to book with. My daughter has her permit and needed extra practice hours. We've been booking the 6 hr training practices. This has made a huge difference in my daughters confidence and ability as a driver. The coaches are kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. They are flexible and able to pick up after school or from home. Booking appointments is easy. I had run into issues booking drivers training appointments for training time with another local company. I couldn't get back to back weekly appointments for training until I reached out to East Bay Driving School. Sherry called me right away and set us up with a routine. Once a week one of the coaches takes my daughter out for a 2 hr behind the wheel training. This is exactly what we needed.
