It has plenty of parking behind the estblishment as well as off street parking. Once inside, the waiting area is smartly decorated with warm, homey, country knick knacks. It has a quaint comfortable couch and upholstered chairs. Theres even a flavored coffee maker for guests in the waiting room. You won't find a sterile boring environment here! You'll feel like you're at a friend's home. Comfort is the key to their establishment. The receptionists are all pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Cockley alerted her staff that I was deaf. I was pleasantly surprised how well they handled me. One staff member actually knew some basic sign. Other places can be really rude and unaccomodating. I used a voice to text app in the dentist area and the visit went smoothly. This establishment offers blankets, heated neck wraps, oral sedatives, pillows, hand paraffin wax treatments, mp3 player, and they offer analgesics prior to treatment. How cool is that!? You get top knotch personalized services! When I went to use the bathroom, it was attractively decorated and even had a cup filled with tooth brushes so patients could brush their teeth or take one home for later. The waiting area wasn't crowded at all. One person was there briefly. Within 15 mins of my arrival staff brought me back to the dental area. They gave me a blanket and a heated neck wrap which was nice considering i have Graves Disease and stress can make it worse. Dr. Cockley was thorough in her discussion and in examining my teeth. She's very patient, gentle, knowledgeable, and shows honest concern for her patients. You will get personalized attention! I wished I went to her sooner. She's about 35 mins drive from me and we'll worth the drive! I highly recommend her and her staff! read more

Let me start off by saying that I have always had a fear of going to the dentist. My entire life. And one day someone recommended that I go see Dr Lori Cockley. And at the time I had multiple issues that I had been postponing because of my dread of going to the dentist. Even though I knew postponing was only going to make things worse. And finally, I want to see Dr. Cockley and it was the most incredible dental experience of my life. I told her right off the bat that I was a coward when it came to going to the dentist. And the way she comforted me and made me feel it is was amazing. And all of her staff were equally sensitive and caring and fun loving. I had to have Several procedures done and threw it all. It was the best experience I ever had in going to the dentist. I couldn't even believe how there was no pain. And previously several of my experiences were very difficult. Especially the last time I went to the dentist prior to seeing Dr. Cockly. Now I have no fear of going to the dentist at all. Because I have Dr. Cockley to depend on. I can't say this enough. If you are looking for a dentist that you can trust and someone who will take their time and address all your questions And concerns, then you need to see Dr. Cockley. And I have been going to see Dentists for over 50 years. I have referred so many people to her and they all report back to me a similar experience. I even had one of my friends send me a little gift, thanking me for the referral. I wish I was better with words so that I could better explain how incredible she is. She has a true dedication to her craft like no other. Even down to her voice and how she talks to you. It is so comforting, knowing that I never have to worry about going to the dentist again. Dr. Cockley and her staff were hands down fabulous!! My son was born with a tongue and lip tie. After speaking with our pediatrician I elected to make a visit to East Berlin Smiles to have Dr. Cockley examine him first. Dr. Cockley examined my son and it was determined he needed both his tongue and lip corrected. He was 6 days old when we visited Dr. Cockley and I can tell you she is the ONLY one I would have trusted to do this procedure. Her gentle and warm personality put me at ease from the beginning and I completely trusted her. I was able to nurse him right after the procedure and immediately saw the results. His cry was different because he could open his mouth wider and he nursed so much better!! Dr. Cockley's and her entire staff were very professional and genuine and the atmosphere in the office is comfortable and inviting. I felt well informed from the beginning and was sent information before we arrived so I could review beforehand and know what to expect. If the warm ambiance isn't enough to relax you, opt for a warm neck wrap or paraffin hand treatment during your visit. The staff is polite, professional, and cheerful. Using the latest technology, they make sure that you understand what is happening with your dental health. They are very thorough and are happy to address any concerns/questions you might have. If you have dental issues that need to be addressed, they will go over all of your options with you. As someone who worked in a dental office years ago and has been a patient in many practices due to frequent moves, I cannot recommend Dr. Cockley and her staff enough. read more

Wow I'm so happy. And I was skeptical. Why would I make the 2.5 hour drive when I could get a tongue tie release done closer by? Well this is why: I called Monday that my baby had only gained 4oz in a month due to a severe lip tie. They overbooked so they could take me the next day. (Other offices just put me on a cancellation list) Then, I arrive an hour early and they take me immediately. They never rushed me, explained everything so carefully, and made sure to ask if I had any questions. Everyone from the front desk, the therapist, LC, and of course the doctor herself, were extremely professional and kind. Procedure was done in minutes, and I had a beautiful little nursery to feed my baby and unwind before we trekked back the 2.5 hours. If I had to do it all over, I would go back there in a heartbeat! read more

Dr. Cockley has the best dental practice in the area. She and her employees are always professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We've been seeing her for about 9 years and have always had a positive experience. She has flexible scheduling and if you ever have a problem, they do their best to work you in right away. She also hosts special kids dental days with fun activities for the children as they come for a check up. Our kids love going to the dentist, which is not something you hear often from other families. Exceptional experience with my tongue-tied son. We had our consultation with the doctor, the CranioSacral Therapist and the Lactation Counselor. They all gave great information, answered all of our questions and collaborated on the specific treatment options that they recommended to us. We were very happy to have the answers we were looking for! We will be back with our older son to have myofunctional therapy and have his tongue tie treated as well. The team took their time (over an hour) to talk with my husband and I about our sons tongue tie. They gave us excellent resources and truly listened to us. Dr was wonderful! We had a lip and tongue revision done with dr Lori. All staff was very caring and informative. Procedure was very quick, maybe 3 minutes and we didn't have a wait time at all. The staff was truly amazing to work with and I can't recommend them enough. My son kept getting misdiagnosed saying he didn't have a lip/tongue tie and the staff found he did in fact have a pretty decent tie.
