I went in to East Coast Ivy with my friend and her mom and my mom and had one of the best experiences in a boutique I have ever had. The owner (Greta), is one of the sweetest people and is so so helpful. Not only did she help my friend and her mom pick out jeans that best fit their style, but also went of her way to cut them herself to the perfect length for my friend's mom. I have never seen such great customer service and if I lived closer, I would do all my shopping here. The clothes and jewelry is adorable. I also purchased a gold ring from there that I was nervous would tarnish and Greta told me that the business that makes them has a warranty that if they do tarnish they would replace them, and she gave me their business card. It has been a decent amount of time and I have not taken the ring off, and it still looks brand new. I had a great conversation with Greta about college because I am a high school student and she was so helpful even though she did not have to give me so much information on colleges she took the time to have a meaningful conversation about it with me! All small businesses could learn a little from East Coast Ivy and Greta the owner on customer service because it was overall an amazing and memorable experience!! read more

ECI has super cute clothes and tons of options to shop for - one of my favorite pieces is from here! I was honestly surprised when I walked in for the first time because of how well stocked and organized it is. They really make use of all the space in the store, but it doesn't feel crowded at all. The store itself is super cute, and it really shows how much effort and care the owner puts into her business! Not only is ECI well stocked and organized, but the owner, Greta, is so kind! I was out shopping with my friends a few weeks ago, and the store window had caught our eye but we arrived just as they were supposed to close. Greta saw us looking in the window, and was more than happy to remain open for a few more minutes for us. She didn't seem annoyed at all, talked to us as we looked around, and it honestly made our day that she let us in to look around! I'm writing this review in response to the recent one star reviews. I am not affiliated with East Coast Ivy, but rather serve to debunk the falsities mentioned in these reviews. First off, they are completely untrue- owner provided proof of this (proof in review below). Second, the reviews were left by brand new accounts with only one review for this business. It is also evident that the reviews were left by friends aiming to convey the victim mindset of an upset friend. These people need to face reality, you are not a victim of anything. Save the tears for the pillow and grow up! I think these may be spiteful customers who wanted to target this business for whatever reason, misrepresented as "racism". My favorite boutique EVER!! I live in VA but stopped by this store on a trip up to Boston in 2021! Since then, my family has continued to shop online and visit when we can; we have even ubered to ECI straight from the airport and had family members pick up gift cards when they're in the area! The owner, Greta, has always been so thoughtful and welcoming, which has been a big reason we keep coming back!! She is always so personable and friendly, chatting with us in-store, and our online orders always arrive with a hand-written note from her! Aside from ECI's hospitality, they also have the cutest clothes all curated in one place! I've never worn an outfit from here without someone stopping me to ask where it is from! Greta is the best! I first came into this store in December 2023 and she helped me pick out a dress for my grad winter school formals which got so many compliments. It was the first place I went to shop for my spring 2024 and Greta helped me find the PERFECT fun and sparkly white dress. She is so helpful to everyone who walks into the store - she feels like a friend! Also, East Coast Ivy is one of the only stores which has discounted (but high-value!) pieces on a very expensive street in Beacon Hill, so I feel like I can pop in either for something special or for something "just for fun" and always find something in my price range! After weight gain and life happenings, I was dreading shopping for upcoming weddings; I was struggling to find items that fit well and were my style. This boutique is a gem in Boston! I have gone into the store several times, and recently went in a few weeks ago to pick out a dress for my fiancé's graduation. The owner was so friendly and offered to help me pick out options and since no one else was in the store yet, she offered to let me use both dressing rooms so I would have plenty of space. I was able to find the perfect dress and it was a positive experience all around. I stumbled upon this boutique one day on a walk in beacon hill. Since then, I have been back several times for gifts and just to look around. I happened upon East Coast Ivy while I was visiting Boston and will return every time I am in the city. The boutique is adorable with the best clothing, but it's the owner who makes the store. I absolutely love East Coast Ivy! They have the cutest inventory. Anywhere from clothes, jewelry, shoes, bags, and more and all for a fair price. The owner Greta is so sweet and her story is amazing. She started the boutique in Charleston SC as an online only shop only and worked her way to achieving a store front on Charles Street in Boston! Such a girl boss!!
