Swapping almond milk for coconut water now costs an extra $2. The same upcharge applies if you swap almond milk for cold brew. For a simple substitution, that feels excessive. Almond milk doesn't work for me due to oxalates, and the only "equal" swap offered is oat milk, which is highly processed and high glycemic. Coconut water, while not perfect, is the best option for me--yet it still comes with a $2 upcharge. At that point, the total is almost $20 for a smoothie bowl, which I can't justify. The quality is still there, but between the high base price and extra charges for basic swaps, I don't go nearly as often anymore.

Next day I went back for the same in a regular size. Some reviews mentioned it was not sweet. The açaí itself is not but the original has honey on top plus the sweetness of the fruit is enough. The fruit they use for toppings is fresh and the granola is crunchy and delicious. I also like that they don't nickel and dime you for adding toppings. They also give a generous portion of toppings. I generally have to pay for extra granola but that was not necessary. Service was friendly and patient. The first day it took a minute for me to decide. Second day I got there right when they were closing, well technically it was roped off already but it wasn't quite 5:50 so I was able to order. They are actually inside the mall.
