this company is very professional and helpful. their driver knows what he is doing. they recovered our vehicle from inside the bushes down an incline. the driver brought the right equipment and got the vehicle out in 20 minutes. their response time is amazing. we called them at 130. they got the info from us, gave us an estimate so quickly (reasonable pricing) for a lift taco truck about 15-20 feet in) the driver was on-site by 230p on a Sunday afternoon. he got the vehicle out in about 30-45 minutes. Ask for Frank. If not available, maybe consider checking around. I've called these folks 3 times - 2 experiences were 5-Star worthy: A man named Frank came; competent, professional, courteous. The woman I'd arrangeed the tow with on the phone - also efficient, helpful, pleasant & couteous. My 3rd encounter - completely different. Did I speak to the same woman? It was sure a very different experience. The man who came & towed my vehicle was not Frank. This different man did come immediately, I'll give him that - but the experience (complete with his use of "F" word flying freely) was very similar to what was described by LP. in a 1 star review below. We called for roadside assistance towing through our insurance company, State Farm. East Coast Towing was dispatched. Juan was the driver/operator. He was professional, courteous, polite, friendly, and efficient. We had our car towed since it stopping running properly. Juan arrived, we told him that the car wasn't running, and he got straight to work, hooked the car up, made room for me to sit in the back while the bf sat in the front passenger seat. We had a fun conversation about how fun it must be to drive the tow truck with manual transmission. The tow truck itself was on the older side. So don't expect a brand new truck if you gotta hitch a ride with the car to your destination. After having car issues, it's the least of our worries. Thank you, Juan. Geico was able to arrange for this tow company to help me out. Saturday morning and i was stuck in the Safeway parking lot. If you're needing a tow in Hilo, you are probably going to wait. Having said that I waited for the scheduled time which was over an hour away. (not good). The tow truck arrived and I was serviced, we tried to jump the truck with a booster pack the driver brought but unfortunately the battery was fine truck still would not click or make any noise. I made some small talk with Frank and he told me that they get hammered all week long and are short staff for drivers. It sounded like the driver "Juan" who is mentioned in the reviews is no longer with the company. Thank you Frank for your help with trying to get me going. I was able to get my truck towed back to my home. The wait time is long, but i can look past that since the truck arrived close to the expected time. read more

I had lost all hope. My Truck would not start after I let it sit for 3 weeks while my wife and I were traveling in Europe. I tried to Jump the sucker with two different cars and no luck. When Manu showed up, in under ten minutes btw, I was grateful he had a flatbed tow because I was positive I was going to need a tow to the ford dealership. First he tried the car jump starter power bank, no luck. But this man didn't give up. Then he told me to bring around my other car with my jumper cables. He connected that car to the battery also... sounded better but still no juice. Manu still did not give up. Over the course of the next five minutes he shouted directions to me like he was solving mathematical equations or something. It was too much for me to follow but then he finally looked at me with a knowing grin and said try now. Suddenly, To my complete amazement, the car engine sprung to life. I couldn't believe it. Juan gave the WORST customer service! I was tired because I was waiting in the parking lot for a long while and stressed because my only vehicle has been giving me a lot of issues. The tow truck driver had such an unpleasant attitude while talking on the phone with him. His impatience made it harder to communicate with him. I tried being helpful, but nothing I said to him on the phone seemed to be enough. Since we didn't have much luck on the phone, I offered to go to his tow truck, so I could direct him to where my vehicle was. As well as, letting him know where to take my vehicle. His unpleasant attitude made it harder to be helpful. I never met someone with such bad manners. I never want any assistance from Juan again. read more
