Teriyaki chicken tacos and tots. Ranch on the side of course
    Reese T.

I have been a frequent flyer of ECW, so frequent that my household calls the ECW location in Harrisburg "old reliable" As far as this location goes it's atmosphere was there like the others for the most part. The service was pretty good as well (at least for a 1-2 pm solo lunch) the waitress was also the bartender for my visit at least. She was overall attentive as she refilled my drink twice during my stay without me calling out to her, she also gave me a food recommendation which helped me decide. Overall the food was pretty good. I'm giving 3 stars because I ordered the teriyaki chicken tacos and overall they were great (even though I'm not a huge teriyaki fan, I prefer less sweet options). They were exactly what you would expect and they were hot and looked delicious. The tater tots in the other hand were a let down. The tacos were obviously hot and fresh but the tots were hard and mildly warm like they have been sitting there for a while or maybe under a heat lamp (never worked in a place like this so I can't say for sure just my opinion). The ranch was boss like it always is. I would be willing to try this location again but I would expect the tots to be fresh.

    Burnt cookie skillet

I ordered a cookie skillet through a third party delivery service. When my order was delivered and I opened the box, this is what I got. The cookie smelled burnt just as the picture shows. Ultimately, the issue was corrected by them making another one and the delivery guy went back and got the cookie. I'm not sure why East Coast thought this would be acceptable to be given to a customer. They have also forgotten another time to include the fries with my meal, and the delivery guy was nice enough to go back and get the fries for me. Normally, I love their food, but I was extremely disappointed and upset about my order.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Loved the homemade chips too. Great service in a laid back atmosphere. Pleasant surprise.

We were down by Lake Tillery on a job so this was within a reasonable distance. Love the layout and decor in the restaurant. Oh, we picked a shareable for the table and spinach artichoke dip, which was a good choice to split between three people. We still have plenty of our workday left so I opted to go with the grilled salmon and a rather unique side in Mexican street corn.. for my second side I decided to add a house salad with homemade ranch dressing. The salad was a large portion to start with in the flavor of the Mexican corn in the salmon went well together. I made a great choice. The Mexican corn was three short corn on the cobs in a long dish with sauce on top of the corn. Public house is definitely the place to be in Albert mall for lunch dinner or a private event.

We went to Five Points Public house for a weekday lunch and only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. The food was good, the interior architecture is nice to look at, and we will be back. The restaurant is a mix of booths and tables with chairs. You can tell the building is old, but had been tastefully worked into a restaurant by the age on the exposed brick within. The whole front of the restaurant faces one of the main roads for downtown, and has large windows that bring in tons of natural light. This place is good for a date night, a group gathering, or anything in between. There's even some bar seating if that's your thing. Our table got the French dip and a make-your-own burger. The French dip was easily shared by my little and me, as the portion size was large. The build-your-own-burger comes exactly as you want it, cooked to your temperature preference, but I will say the patty could have had more seasoning on it. The onion rings are amazing, and the onion adheres perfectly to the batter. One thing I hope to be able to use in the future is the Pontiac Room, which is their second story event space. They have a nice sign that gives details about the space, and I truly believe it would be good for wedding receptions, large parties, or large group gatherings. I don't know if there is an elevator to this space, so you'd need to check on that should your group have mobility concerns. Overall, this is a place that we will bring the whole crew to in the future.

The restaurant was busy but not overwhelmingly so, indicating the locals probably enjoy this spot. I was in the area and had a craving for pho and this was where Yelp led me. I'm a pho snob so I was a little surprised by how much I enjoyed the pho here. The broth was a little underwhelming at first, but once you add the chili oil and a touch of fish sauce, all of the flavors (the herbal essence and the beefy meatiness) came together beautifully. It hit the spot. I know it is a little short-sighted to rate this place according to just one dish, but it's what I have for you. That being said, my 4-star rating may change when I try other things on the menu the next time I come here. I normally like rating Thai restaurants by their green curry and pad thai -- so that is something to look forward to!! A few things that didn't really matter but they stood out. 1) They didn't bring out a plate of herbs for you to garnish your soup with. Instead, they added all the herbs into the soup before they brought it to the table. I get it. This is a rural area with little diversity so you want to simplify things for your main customer base. I also assume it is a waste thing. I always use up ALL of my herbs but I know most people don't . This way it saves on the waste. 2) The beef was cut chunky instead of sliced thinly like what's normal in a bowl of pho. At first, I thought it was carelessness or an oversight from the chef, but after a bite with the beef, broth, and the noodles all together, I am thinking it may be an intentional choice. With the beef pieces being bigger and chunkier, it preserves that super beefy taste. The one knock I have is my pho noodles we're all broken like I got the noodles from the bottom of the bag. It's not a huge deal. Just bad luck, I guess. Overall, good spot. Try it out!

Even American-style Chinese food (ACF). This place was a strong win for ACF for us- including great food portion size, quality, price & all. Got a summer cold & wanted soup within reasonable driving distance. (The places closest to us are unappetizing or grossly unclean- not this place!) Chose this location for its variety of soups & fuller menu. Order was: an egg drop wonton soup (soothing and filling) a hot and sour soup (quality ingredients) crab rangoon (wonton cream cheese crisps with sizeable side of dipping sauce) and a truly EXCELLENT spicy sweet orange beef. ***Healthy portion sizes for the price*** Spouse commented that the entree was almost all beef with a little broccoli & that the beef was not "weird"- that's high praise. I could see red chili pepper slivers & orange peel along with the minimal broccoli. Nice flavors. Ambiance: Was not the one who picked up the meal but heard it was more of a to-go rather than sit down place. Service: Very friendly in-store service & ordering over the phone was easy, quick. I value an easy phone call over using an app to order when pics of food are not available online. Note: we took no pics bc we were just that hungry. But I will take pics next time for y'all. And there will be a next time...just less soup!
