Folks! This place has a low rating for a reason. Where to begin? The food took almost 90 minutes to get to the table. I ordered the wagyu burger, which was decent, but not worth $20. We also ordered nachos that were below average. They were soggy, and the cheese was clumpy. Now, onto the drinks. We first tried ordering the classic mojitos. It took 30 minutes for them to come to the table. They tasted horrible. Basically, lemonade with no hint of alcohol. Sent them back only to find out they didn't have grapefruit for another drink option. We finally received decent drinks an hour into our visit. The manager apologized for everything and said he could only offer a free dessert. We will not be going back to this place. The only reason that I gave BJ's two stars was that the cookie dessert (pizookie) was excellent. read more

I am struggling to review this place. Located next to Concord Mills mall, it has a beautiful interior with lots of seating. It tries to be a sports bar in a way but falls short. Something is missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. I tried to order what I think must be a big seller there - a hard root beer, but they were all out. Fellah near me tried to as well. Big disappointment. So I ordered one of their house beers. It was just ok. It was a porter so I wasn't really expecting a lot of carbonation but this beer was completely flat. I settled on a tavern style pizza and it was decent. The crust could have been crisper. My waitress did a decent job and thoughtfully brought out Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper without being asked. If she would have asked before I finished my meal, I would have tried another one of their house beers, but I had already finished by the time she asked. My fiance and I had a chill lunch here and this was my first time here. It's a chain, I'm not a huge chain fan so my expectations weren't high. It was big and clean inside. We really only had one issue so I'll mention it first. We had a $50 gift card and somehow our server said there was only $25 on it. Luckily, I double checked via the gift card website to make sure of the balance and sure enough there was $50 on it and they only charged $25. So, we had to get that rectified which was annoying. The server even seemed bothered by it all so it was an odd end to an otherwise nice experience. Besides that our food and drinks were pretty good. We tried the brussels app and wings. I took my coworker to lunch here for her birthday because she said it was one of her favorites. I have the $13 Pizookie Meal with the personal pizza, house salad and pizookie. The pizza that I had was the Extreme Pepperoni. I orders the garden salad with ranch dressing and the salted caramel pizookie. Everything was just okay. The food options that I chose were just okay, nothing special. The best part was the price and it was quite filling for a lunch. I would say it's a decent option for not-so-fast food. I can say I tried it and not sure if I would return unless someone else wanted to try it. Went on a Friday around 4:30. They weren't really all that busy. I was seated in an area where nobody was was working that section so a waiter felt like he should intervene and take my order which was nice of him. First mocktail I wanted they didn't have all the ingredients to make so I settled for a razzle dazzle berry fizz. I ordered the ahi poke which was tasty except my avocado was brown I got the salted caramel cookie for dessert it was good but slightly burnt around the edges and got the smallest personal deep dish cheese pizza I ever saw to go that had a weird off taste and mostly bread. The server was nice, but we went without refills and she put the appetizer in the same time as the meal so all of the food came out within a minute of each other. The chicken on the Asian Salad was the best chicken! It was moist and tender and the Honey Ginger dressing was really good. I had the bathtub Lucky Duck Cocktail and it was strong and not great so I wouldn't order one again. The appetizer was barely warm. We ordered the Trio dessert and the Oreo pizookie was the best one out of the 3. My guest enjoyed the burger and gave it a 5. Every time I come I get my fill. They have a variety of entrees to choose from. I chose the spagetti and meatball plate. I wanted to eat there because I love the casual atmosphere but I had to get it to go. I ate some yesterday. I have plenty for today. And I even have enough for tommorrow. sharing feedback regarding a very disappointing experience at your restaurant during what was supposed to be a special celebration for my daughter's graduation. Last week, I made a reservation for 8 at 530. We arrived around 5:25 PM, and initially the experience started off pleasantly. The woman at check-in was kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, things quickly changed once we interacted with the other hostess. We were asked to wait a few moments while the table was being prepared, so our group sat on the bench nearby. The second hostess simply said "follow me" without addressing anyone directly, leaving us confused about whether she was speaking to our party. One person in our group even commented, "Oh, I think she's talking to us." Apparently we did not move quickly enough for her liking, because she then began waving her arms at us in an irritated manner as if we were inconveniencing her. Once we reached the table, she dropped the stack of menus at the end of the table and walked away without saying a word. Her attitude and lack of professionalism were extremely disappointing. Customer service should be a basic expectation from someone in a hostess role. Once seated, our server was decent, although somewhat slow, which we understood given it was a busy Saturday evening. However, my husband's shrimp scampi was served completely cold and had to be sent back. He chose not to replace the meal after that experience. In addition, one of the children in our group ordered spaghetti. According to the server, the order had been entered but somehow got "bumped," resulting in a significant delay. While mistakes happen, this only added to an already frustrating evening. The visiting manager did stop by our table after we shared our concerns about how poorly the graduation dinner was going. She was receptive, professional, and kind enough to offer the graduates pizzookies. She was honestly the only staff member who appeared capable of handling the situation appropriately, and I truly appreciated her effort to make things right. Unfortunately, the confusion continued when it was time to pay. We requested only two checks, yet it became an unnecessarily complicated process. After multiple failed attempts to split the bill correctly, we eventually gave up and sorted it out ourselves. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the experience we received. What should have been a joyful and memorable dinner celebrating my daughter's graduation turned into an evening spent managing confusion, poor service, and unprofessional behavior. Aside from the visiting manager, the level of customer service and competence displayed was unacceptable. We were in the area and decided to stop in here for a couple of beers and desert after having dinner at Mac's Speed Shop across the parking lot. Like many of the other BJ's locations I have been to, the interior is large and open with flat screen TV's scattered around the space. Lots of windows and overhead/garage doors providing natural light. We only got dessert on this visit, but food is typically quite good for a large chain brewpub, and the menu is quite extensive. We got a couple of Pazookies and a couple of beers. They have 7-8 house brand beers, and a handful of guest taps. I had the Totonka Stout, and my wife and daughter both had the Oasis Amber. All of the beers were quite good. Service was very good (as it has been with most/all of the other locations that I have visited), with the servers coming around regularly to check on us. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the Pazookies and beer came out quickly. Overall, BJ's is a nice chain brewhouse that is very consistent from one location to the next, and I always know I am going to get a decent meal with good beer when visit. read more

Went to dinner Gere Monday night to celebrate my neice's birthday. Met at 6 PM. We were able to get a seat right away. It took a bit to get us to order and the waitress was so kind. She let us take our time. The ambiance is casual. We had the bcon cheeseburger and one of the salads. The salad looked amazing. I had the burger. It was good but not great. The briche bun was nice. For desert the waitress sent out a warm cookie with icecream to share. It was very god. I have to say, out of the many places I have been out to eat lately, this restaurant had the best waitress/server. She was kind, patient, and checked on us just the right amount of times. The night shift manager had scheduled a team building dinner at BJ's. The draw was a steak dinner. I don't think anyone actually ordered steak but everyone enjoyed their food. The ambience is sports bar. There are tvs everywhere. The noise level is average-loud. We were sitting at a table in the bar area. BJ's had an impressive selection of beers on tap. This was hands-down one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, and the few waiters working seemed completely disorganized and overwhelmed. It took over an hour and a half to get just half of our entrées, and they forgot several dishes entirely. On top of that, my wings came out bloody and undercooked--a serious food safety issue. It's not fair to the customers (or even the staff, honestly) to run a restaurant this way. We spent the whole evening frustrated and hungry. I convinced my husband to take a chance on this place. We were both concerned about the wait time. It was half an hour. It looks like they were seriously understaffed. It was about five in the afternoon. There were so many vacant tables and the entire patio was complete empty. When they finally seated us it was at a dirty table! The hostess had to clean it while we watched. Now to get to the good part! Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable. The drink and food selections were epic and the food was much better than we expected. We made delicious choices for our entrees and on top of that the drinks were terrific! We ordered dessert to go, and I am unsure if that's a request that they don't get too often but we waited at least 30 minutes for our dessert to go. We opted for the Pizookie trio and it's too bad that when we got home we noticed that all three cookies were burnt. It's important to note that the bathrooms had three gender options. The ladies room was very clean. With local sports playing on some big screen TV's and a rather large bar area (where dudes will try to pick you up) I saw patrons of all ages. Today, I was craving a pan styled pizza and a cold microbrew and I sought out BJ's in the Concord Mills Mall area. Parking was relatively easy, as was getting seated at a booth. The only downside was it took over 6 minutes before a server approached us to take drink and food orders. The 6 inch BJ's pizza and a pint of Old Mechlandburg Copper, a smooth lager local brew was selected. Food came out relatively fast, and the pizza had a great taste with several toppings such as the onions and green peppers surrounded by the sausage gave a tasty outcome. This was my first time trying out this restaurant, I have never been to a BJs, but I have heard the food and drinks are decent, so I decided to give them a try. It was a bit of a wait when I arrived, because they were packed. But, I was seated sooner than quoted so that was nice! It was spacious and clean, so I liked that. My son ordered off the kids menu. Mini burgers (2) with fries and a lemonade 10/10 - He really enjoyed his meal I ordered; Tropical wine slush 10/10 - This was so delicious, not too sweet, fruity and refreshing! The caprese salad 10/10 - This salad was so yummy and fresh, loved it! The prime rib special, which came with two sides and a pizzooki for dessert. For my sides, I had the mashed potatoes and asparagus 6/10 - I ordered my prime rib medium well, and it was chewy! It was a bit on the salty side and had way too much fatty bits. The mashed potatoes were okay and the asparagus was good. I wouldn't order the prime rib again. But, I saw a few other things that I'd like to try so I'll be back. WELL that took like 10-15 minutes to get. I said to the waitress should I order my husband's beer now being it took that long for mine. She said (SNARKY) we only have 1 bartender. This was my first time at BJ's . I was excited because I heard nice things about BJ's. My first encounter at the bar was a great female bartender until her shift then a gentleman took over with no personality. My food and drinks were very good. The dining area and bar were very clean,however my friend went to the female bathroom and could not use it. She came back very upset that the bathroom was dirty. The floor was sticky and didn't seem to have been cleaned. Unfortunately, we didn't stay longer because we had to go to a bathroom in the mall. Tried their pizza today, curbside service was fast, and it should have been a great lunch. I really wanted to like this, but it wasn't good, not even mediocre. The meatballs were just mushy ground pork, absolutely tasteless. The whole pizza was lacking in taste, and I mean like, not even a grain of salt! I take that back, the pepperoni had enough salt to kill a horse, but that was it, everything else tasted like it had been boiled. I've ordered from here once before, but I can't remember the last pizza I had. I know it comes down to personal taste, but this was the last pizza I'll try here. This review is overdue. I was here for the first time for dinner with a friend on Tuesday, 03-28-23. I ordered the honey sriracha brussels sprouts, double bone in pork chop, baked potato, and hot fudge brownie pizookie. I also had a glass of Ruffino prosecco rosé. The service was great; the food was even better. I ordered my dessert to go because I had no more room to eat anything else after dinner. The honey dijon mustard sauce that came with the pork chop was a perfect compliment. I'm not in Concord often, but I'd definitely visit again. read more
