This is kind of a combination of a convenience store, beer store and pizza/sub shop. As you walk in the front door, to the left you will see a counter where you can order an array of subs, pizzas, fried chicken, salads and appetizers. The staff there was busy making food, waiting on customers and filling orders. They looked very diligent and the service seemed friendly from what I observed. However, I was there to look around the convenience store part of the place and see what they had. The shelves were well stocked with everything from basic groceries to cleaning supplies. At the front of the store area I also saw a hot food case where they had fried chicken fingers and warm biscuits on display. The biscuits were very attractive and looked like they were drizzled with either butter or honey I am not sure which but they looked simply delicious. There was a girl working the front counter of the store and she was very friendly and likable. She seemed to know her job well. They had a good selection of candy bars and other treats on the shelves near the front of the store and at the counter as well. They also had beer on display in the refrigerated area of the store as well as sodas and juices and such. They had different drink mixes in the store that they are selling there as well so you can make your own drinks at home on a night when you are either entertaining or just don't feel like going out to a bar. There is also a tavern off to the side of the store (you have to go down a few steps to get into the tavern if I remember rightly). I did not go down to the tavern but the aromas from the foods that were being served down there were coming up to the store area and were enough to make a person very hungry. And that tells me that the food in the tavern must be mighty tasty! In fact I'd like to try out the tavern on my next trip up to that area. This little store is located in what seems to be primarily a residential area with a few businesses around. It is a rather small to medium sized store but there is so much in it that it makes it seem a lot bigger than it really is! I happened upon this store because I was in the area attending an event at the function hall next door to this place. I'd definitely come here again to buy a beverage or a candy bar or snack the next time I am traveling through! And I will most certainly try out either the sub shop or the tavern that they have there next time. read more

Normally it is great ordering here. But tonight I ordered an 8 piece mixed white and dark meat for the amount of money I received 6 chicken wings and 2 thighs. What a rip off. $19.45 for basically a small amount of chicken. So disappointed East Derry Store. Looks like I make the drive o KFC when I want fried chicken. Wide variety of craft beers to choose from makes it interesting to try new local breweries.

PROS: The owner is extremely nice. The chicken tenders are amazing. The biscuits are addicting! Don't cancel your gym membership!! CONS: Only one actually. We have ordered food from this store often, and I can honestly say they get our order wrong about 40% of the time. It's just ingredients on pizza or in a sub, but it's a bummer. Living in East Derry, it is nice to have a little store on our side of town for any quick needs you might need on the fly. They have a massive beer selection, deli with pizza, ice cream, household items, and even local produce. No individual item knocks it out of the park, but the collective make a nice little place. The owner Sam is very friendly and will try to get in any product you want. My only gripe would be the cleanliness of the place, but it seems they are trying to do some renovations on the fly, so I will cut them some slack. Another big thing is no matter the storm or conditions outside, they are always open. read more

I don't often find myself in that part of town, so while I've lived in Derry my whole life, I've never been in for more than a soft drink while passing through or something. Yesterday I got a menu in my mailbox from them. It happened to be a particularly difficult evening so I thought "fried chicken that delivers? F it, why not?" Oh my. Oh. My! It was amazing! And so reasonably priced! The owner on the phone was super nice, and the delivery guy was not only really nice, but also informed me that they can also deliver beer. What a time to be alive! Maybe this is a Thing and it's just new to me, but I thought it was great. In summary: Tasty food, good price, nice people, and so accommodating! Plus you're supporting a small, local business. Where is the downside?! Addendum: They fry in soybean oil. My boyfriend is allergic to Canola oil, so this was good to know. We will definitely be repeat customers. read more

Quite possibly one of my favorite stores in the town of Derry. As a new resident of Derry I have quickly made this establishment a routine stop - the staff is friendly and helpful, the store is always clean, the beer selection is unparalleled, and the food on their menu is superb. Delivery has always arrived quickly and hot, even in inclement weather. At the very least, go in and try the biscuits - they are without doubt the best I've ever had. read more

This place is a godsend. They do amazing fried chicken, good pizza, good wings, and they deliver beer! What more could you want! The staff is probably the best part of this place. The owner, Sam, would do anything for his customers and constantly solicits feedback on the facebook page for new products to sell or new deals for food. The beer manager, Cody, is very knowledgable and is constantly bringing a new supply of craft beer into town. I'm not sure of anywhere else in the area that you can get craft beer, fine cigars, top-tier fried chicken, pizza, and all of your other general store needs. This place is simply the best and a blessing for those of us who live nearby. read more

The owner is always there and VERY personable! He greets everyone that steps in and recalls names! He goes out of his way to please customers. He will give you taste tests if you ask and his biscuits are so good! The only thing I do not care for is that the flooring is bad in some spots, tile is crumbling and I am wary of my footing on the steps. I know this comes from med background as I have taken care of people who things happen to ...so I notice! That is the only reason for not a 5 star. Stopped in here this morning after seeing a post in Facebook about British candy. It is hard to buy gifts for my mother in law, but beings that she is a Brit, I had to go! This store is amazing, huge beer selection, both singles and multipacks, foreign especially. I got a free tender and promptly bought 3 more, but the biscuits are the best I have ever had. I had a nice convo with the owner while I waited for the biscuits to finish baking, a very nice gentleman who has promised to have my husbands favorite German beer in stock next week.
