The tranquility of East End Pizza offers a distinct counterpoint to the central hustle and bustle surrounding Gino's of Long Beach. Gino's, immensely popular and often crowded due to its convenient, central location directly across from the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station, embodies the lively, high-traffic side of Long Beach dining. East End Pizza, situated further east, provides a more relaxed and neighborhood-focused atmosphere. This difference in setting appeals to distinct customer preferences: those who appreciate the energy and immediate convenience of Gino's versus those who seek the calmer, family-oriented dining experience and signature sesame seed crust that East End Pizza consistently delivers. I stopped by because I was looking for a change to the ordinary at some restaurants. Blaring TVs all over the walls and loud music that I find difficult to over take in conversations. This place had neither. What East End Pizza has over Ginos is natural lighting coming through large glass windows and booths parked right next to them. **Free unlimited fountain drink fill-up after purchase of their cup. It wasn't hard to see their larger food selections at the counter which also looked fresh and tasty. I of course opted for the Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana. I inhaled that meal it was that good. Outter bread crust followed by a bread doughy center, Chicken Cutlet and Parmigiana cheese. Bathrooms: were clean and presentable Parking: is free highlighted in red and yellow (picture enclosed). By Bus from LIRR: Point Lookout Bus East Park Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue Stop. $2.75. Access to Pizzaria and Beach. Final thoughts; Yes I would eat there again and I'd bring a chair and umbrella for the beach to boot. The Review Guru* Long Island NY

    Penne alla vodka

The Penne alla Vodka is divine. I literally had some of this yesterday and came back today to get my own order. So good. The service was impeccable! I ordered a pasta for pickup and it was done in 15 min and when I got there in 20 it was still piping hot and delicious! Highly recommend

East End Pizza 647 E Park Ave, Long Beach, NY 11561 Took a trip out there but food this place. Amazing pizza and staff were all very pleasant. The lady that took our order Kaitlyn was so funny. All smiles. Also Santos (Mgr) was a delight. Nothing better than 2 slices of sausage pizza and a glass of red wine after a long drive. If ever in the area again that will be our stop to make again. Thank you for the experience. You def put a smile on my face. Bravo Ate too fast and forgot to take a pic of the pizza but it was delicious.

A great selection of different toppings for your selection of pizza.

Out of all the pizza places in Long Beach my feeling is East end pizzeria has the best pizza. The sauce , cheese and the crust work well together. Also if you're looking for a good lasagna East end pizzeria is the place in Long Beach to have it. The owner Frank is familiar with the lot of the regulars that patronize his restaurant. His staff is very attentive and very helpful. The atmosphere is a traditional pizzeria.

Great service and great pasta. I got penne al vodka. Was very delicious. Happy to stumble upon this place while enjoying the beach from out of town.

    "NO sesame seeds please.."

I'm so over it. I have no idea what happens in the evening but we are done. Inconsistent cooking; incorrect orders; sloppy delivery. Done. After ordering for delivery two more times since my last post - we are over it all. 1. We ordered; again, against my best judgement because my friends were hungry. Half plain; half vegetable - NO SESAME SEEDS PLEASE. Not on the half vegetable, not on the plain. None please. Reiterated - several times. And requested - nicely. "Yep. Yep" was the response from the girl on the other end. "Yes manned" again. Fool me once.. An hour later when the pizza arrived we open the box and sesame seeds not only cover the entire outer crust as well as the bottom; but they are sprinkled on TOP of the VEGGIE side in abundance. When we phoned and asked the same girl why she gave us seeds and extra seeds; she just put us on hold. When she came back - she had no solution. No reason as to why this happened. No apologies. It was like being in bizzarro world (again). She really had no problem solving skills. 2. A separate dinner order another night - chicken marsala; with no marsala and very small helping; then the SAME sauce was used to cook the vegetable as well as the pasta. Unflavored and greasy. Cooking is so inconsistent. I don't know if we have wronged the place, I don't know if the sesame seeds incident was a joke; I don't know if this particular individual just is a poor listener, I don't know if the cooks at night are trained. I DO KNOW, that we are done. Gino's can deliver and has better food.

They were packed so they seated us at the last 2 seats left at the bar near the host stand. There was an acoustic singer and guitar player adding to the energetic ambience. We were handed the place mats and menus upon seating. Then it took about 15 min to order a drink. Then another 25 min before we could place our food order. The female bartender was attentive to all the parties around us, and people who came in after us seemed to be a priority. The barback finally noticed us and helped us while he was also busting out drinks. He noticed we were trying to get her attention so he stepped in kindly and took our order. We ordered the Grilled Artichokes, the Burger, and Chicken Carbonara. (Wanted the Bolognese but someone had just ordered the last one by 8pm?!) She never checked in for a second round, so we didn't bother after about 20 min we gave up. The Artichokes came out about 20 min after ordering. They plopped them in front of us, no utensils or napkins. I had to ask the barback for some. The busser seemed disgruntled a said they only had forks. Had to flag someone else for napkins, and they brought us a pile of c-fold paper towels, when they usually have cloth napkins as we noticed with patrons who came in after us. My sis-in-law and I wolf down the 4 pieces of artichokes, using our fork and hands to cut into pieces (no knife). Then another 30 min before our mains come out. Couldn't even ask anyone for a food status update, so just tried to enjoy the live music and each other's company to distract from hunger pangs. The burger and carbonara finally show and looks great. The portions were generous. Fries were a little blonde and just underdone but seasoned enough. The carbonara was delicious as well, nice and al dente. We enjoyed our food and chatted. Music was on the louder side but for a Friday night at 8ish pm, that is not uncalled for. The restaurant started to end their rush and the bar emptied out a tad, but the service did not improve. Asked for the bill and to-go containers as soon as I could flag someone bc I knew it would take awhile to get them. Of course when getting the bill things progressed speedily, so we paid and tried to get out as soon as we were done. The staff there was hot and cold. Barback was helpful and everyone else seemed "annoyed" to have to help us with simple requests that shouldn't have to be requested to begin with. Again I understand rushes happen and staff can become overwhelmed. The bar team had to service the bar and some high tops nearby plus make drinks for the rest of the restaurant, so I understand the volume was high, but again the management team should plan accordingly to make sure the diners do not have to feel the lag in the service. Food was good but left a little disappointed from the service.
