Employees are very friendly and the pizza was excellent. Our pie was brought to our table and the slices served to us, which was nice. Very clean place with a bathroom. Tables well spaced.

The best pizza on Long Island! The best! Large slices, grease dripping, melted cheese and thin crust. Fantastic. It was nice and hot too. I'm a sucker for a pizza lunch with a soda. Jack's was a recommendation from a dear friend. She has never steered me wrong when it comes to food. She delivered here! When we walked in we placed our orders and sat down. The staff was amazing. Great conversation, smiles and hardworking. They seem to do a good amount of take out as well as eat in. The interior was so clean as well, parking in a side lot too.

More like 3.5 stars. Solid, standard pizza place. I had a large Caesar salad (chopped) with grilled chicken. I asked for dressing mixed in. Dressing was not mixed in. Sigh. Calamari was good. I tried the chicken parm too and it was fine.

It's been years. Nearly 50 since O had a slice of pie here so expectations were high and driven by memories from my childhood. Still located in the same place though it's footprint has doubled over the last few decades, this is still the place where memories are made. Good, hot pies with dripping cheese and sauce. The flop dead on and the spices just right. Not much in the way of decor but that's not what you are here for is it? Grab a pie or a slice, the variety is much wider these days and inhale the smells and tastes of summer in an Italian beach town.

a pizza in a box

Living in NY sets a high standard for pizza, I get that, but do yourself a favor and do not order a Sicilian pie or slice. The sauce isn't good and the slice is HUGE. I know Sicilian slices are supposed to be thicker, but good lord did I order a sheet cake? The slice is so thick that it can't even fit in their to go boxes or your mouth. Attached you'll see my first red flag for this place: ruined cheese. I can't speak for their other food, but if they can't make a good Sicilian than I don't want it.

Nothing Special - I was passing through the neighborhood and happened to pop inside; - I ordered a regular slice and a Sicilian slice. The Sicilian tasted very "Cake Like" - Regular slice was fair @ the very least. I suspect that this place is very popular with the Island Park locals - Otherwise, I think "Pizza Options" are limited in this "One Horse Town". - Plenty of better options across "The Channel" in Long Beach - But, than again - I'm more sure if their is sufficient "Potable Water" in that town. What was up with the stolen cocktail salt shakers that were floating around this place? Overall - didn't enjoy my visit. Would not make the trip!

Sherry Blossom consistently delicious food and drinks,…read more Whether to go or eating in, Sherry & her staff always make me & my family feel welcome & that our experience is important to them. Great Food at excellent prices. Probably have eaten there close to 100x and never had an experience that was not great.

I was so excited to have my poke bowl with a side of a yummy bubble tea…read more The poke still bomb, fresh and a great portion. They have pre made bowls or you can build your own which is my fav! The place clean and cute and of course, packed and full of life. The staff upbeat and friendly which is what we love! Unfortunately I had to give them one less star for this rating (compared to my previous 5 star) because their bubble tea changed, not only their packaging but their quality. The cup felt flimsy, like if you squeeze too hard might pop the cover off, no big deal if the actual drink is great, then you bypass this BUT unfortunately this has to be one of the saddest bubble tea drinks I've had in a while. The drink was warm!!! Ugh, the ice was added last so therefore it melted immediately and so by the time it got to me, warm... I'm like ok I can add ice at home lol .. I had the mango and my boyfriend the peach. Both flavors were good, but both warm with ice is just not the same. We had it with tapioca bubbles and mango/peach popping boba. The popping boba was good but the tapioca pearls were SOOO HARD and a weird orange see through color so either they weren't ready or they were old! They were so hard they kept clogging our straw and couldn't sip our drink... everything about it was just a disappointment, I was so sad because I've been going there for years and I've loved their bubble tea and never had that problem! Anyway, go for food, skip their bubble tea.

My husband and I popped into Lido's for lunch and WOW -- the food came to play…read more First of all, the complimentary pickles? Elite. But the real star of the opening act was the coleslaw. I am not a coleslaw person (like... ever), but this one changed me. The veggies were crisp, the dressing was perfectly balanced -- not too sweet, not too heavy -- and honestly, I could eat a tub of it and not get tired. Character development unlocked. We decided to share the Heartburn Wrap, which was definitely big enough for two. Minor user error on my part -- I thought it came with pastrami and hot peppers, but apparently I ordered it wrong. That one's on me, and trust and believe I'm running it back next time the correct way. We also shared the matzo ball soup and let me tell you... it tasted like somebody's bubbe made it with love and a little bit of magic. Straight up warm hug in a bowl. Service-wise, our server wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy -- but honestly, I didn't come here to make friends. I came to eat, and on that front, Lido's absolutely delivered. Bottom line: phenomenal food, generous portions, and we will 100% be back. Must try.

The food here is in a word fantastic. I looked around at what people were eating- incredible overstuffed sandwiches, onion rings like you've never seen- I opted for the stuffed cabbage entree-it came with a cup of soup- my choice was mushroom barley, and two sides. I chose the kasha varnishkas and some egg noodle thing... and of course I had to have a Dr Brown's Black Cherry. Since The Carnegie Deli there has never been a more authentic Jewish deli. The waiters were wonderful all with distinct personalities... I must come back for brunch. I'm fantasizing about latkes and Apple sauce now. Or maybe a lox and onion omelette? This place is special. For some reason this won't let me check ambiance- well this place has fantastic ambiance- a jewel of Long Beach.

A Tasteful Thai Hidden Gem!…read more This restaurant delivers an exceptional Thai dining experience. While some reviews are mixed, I can confidently stand behind all the positive ones. I haven't tried the entire menu--I'm more of a "find something I love and stick with it" kind of diner--but what I've had has been outstanding. The Pad Kee Mao is absolutely packed with flavor. The noodles are perfectly chewy, and the vegetables and tofu are fresh and well-prepared. The Larb is another standout--tangy, spicy, and full of herbs. Just a heads-up: it doesn't automatically come with rice, but for just $2 more, you can (and should) add it on. The rice pairs perfectly with the dish. Veggie rolls are cold, crisp, and super fresh, and the peanut sauce they come with is delicious. The satay might be the best I've ever had--juicy, tender, and not dried out at all. The staff here are wonderful--the owner and employees work seamlessly together and go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. The restaurant is clean and airy, especially when they open the doors for a nice breeze. They also have a full bar, though I've only paired my meals with a good beer so far (a great match for the heat in the dishes). Bonus points for the ceiling light fixtures--they're stylish and add to the warm atmosphere. If you find yourself in Long Beach, do yourself a favor and stop by. I can't wait to go back.
