My Sister and Brother-in-law had their wedding here, and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. The venue on it's own has a great set up, with beautiful views, cute photo opps, lucious landscaping, fire pit, lawn games, wonderful bridal suites, easy accessible bar area, and the staff... The owners Diana and Grady are so easy to work with, remembering every minor detail, from what bouttenier belonged to the Groom, groomsen, and father's - to the overall magic of pulling the vision together. I want to also take a moment to give a shout out to Tobin, who was nothing short of amazing from the moment we pulled up arms full of decor and food! He had a hand cart to us in seconds, a dolly for the kegs, and a welcoming smile. Tobin, was always within eyesight ready for any requests and needs, zipping around with all of the things, and to top it off he did it with a smile and great sense of humor. 10 out of 10 for Tobin! East Fork Country Estate is a great place for a wedding. We picked them because the place is absolutely beautiful. It's set in the rolling hills a few mile south of downtown Gresham. The grounds are well tended with terraced lawns, beautiful flowering gardens, horses grazing on the Estate's pastures, and a view overlooking the cascade foothills, and Mt. Hood. Planning a wedding is a manic exercise, and the estate wedding coordinator made it so much easier. We picked the food, the cake, the colors, and bingo - she made it happen. All we really had to do was pick the music - we had a jazz trio - and the preacher - we had a Universalist Unitarian woman. Our wedding day was a beautiful summer day and our guests gathered under a white canopy in the garden, just in front of the white gazebo where the ceremony takes place. We had a short Celtic hand-binding (tying the knot) ceremony, and then everyone ate, danced, and drank. As we set out to leave, a big harvest moon hung low over Mount Hood, and our guests waved sparklers as we made our escape. We are both still marvel at how perfect and magical the day was. We were married here on 08/18/18. If I could give Diana and Grady TEN stars, I would. From the very first email to the last bittersweet hug goodbye, they were nothing short of professional and courteous and assuring each time we communicated. If you're looking for that team that just knows exactly what they're doing and gets it done, this is it. They were meant to do this. I always felt like my wedding was the only one happening and definitely felt taken care of. We also had our wedding rehearsal and dinner at East Fork as well. Grady was great handling the music while Diana coordinated the rehearsal. On the big day they worked to get everything set up and running smoothly--exactly what was hoped for. And the venue! The views are stunning! I also picked this place because I have a lot of introverted friends and there are many places around the site that you can get away from it should one need to. read more

It's always a joy working with the fabulous owners and their staff, the gardens are beautiful and the view is beyond compare. This is a perfect venue for weddings big or small. I attended a wedding here and the view of Mt Hood was amazing, especially at sunset! It made for some beautiful photos. East Fork is an awesome place to have your wedding. Diana and her team were so easy to work with and made the process of wedding planning so much less stressful. We don't live in the Portland area, but coordinating with Diana through email was very easy. Diana and her team did everything possible to make the day of the wedding go as smoothly as possible. They coordinated set-up with vendors, and were very open to last minute decoration additions from me. The venue looked beautiful, and the dressing area was spectacular - with complimentary champagne! This is the best venue in town! I could not believe how much they take off of your hands while planning a wedding. Diana, the owner, is also your coordinator and takes so much of the stress off of the couple. She and her assistant set up appointments with the couple and has goals and due dates for them, helping break down the wedding day process. People thought I was crazy for planning a wedding in only 6 months and at another venue I'm sure that would have been horrible, but here it could have been done in less time! All around this venue surprised me. The house is adorable and there are so many decorating options. I was amazed that so many people could fit outside under the canopy. My wedding party was comfortable and taken care of during the day. And just like the process, Diana takes care of everything the day of as well. I didn't have anything to worry about. I was able to enjoy the morning of with my girls and enjoy the rest of the day with my husband. And the best part is it's run by a couple you can tell genuinely enjoys it. I was the bride at a September wedding last summer. Do not use this wedding venue. Diana was very rude, didn't return calls, and once every little charge is added to the check not worth $8000+. I met with Diana twice before the rehearsal night and the first was our initial meeting where she assured me that she was there to coordinate EVERYTHING and pull a load of stress off my shoulders. The day OF the bridal party arrived before my mother with the last payment and she made us all wait in the parking lot and use the filthy outhouses for thirty minutes! She treated us very badly and while my new husband and I were coming down the stairs, the last to leave we heard her complaining about the mess that was left. She argued with my mother and created unnecessary tension and tears throughout the entire wedding planning process and made me regret my decision to use her. I write this as a warning I wish someone else would have left me on this site before we made the impulsive decision to use East Fork. read more
