The hamburger sliders and chicken salad were delicious, and all of their house-made salad dressings were fantastic (the blue cheese was especially amazing). I also loved that they source locally. With excellent service, great wine, and delicious food, we can't wait to come back!

This was one that was recommended to us, but was a huge disappointment to start off. We had called ahead where they told us. There was no such thing as reservation and the patio was on a first come first serve basis, although the very first question when we walked in was, do you have reservations the patio was full and we were given a table inside while we waited to see if something opened up no more than three minutes behind us some lady walks in ask if they can get a table because their new wine members and they want to get their free flight. They told the ladies that they were full and that they could sit inside. She asked if they could walk outside and look around at least and show her friend around she said that's no problem. They did that when they came back in they had mentioned it looked like somebody was getting ready to leave and wanted to know if they would be able to get that seat outside. I thought great we're going to get passed up for this. And then the hostess came over and told us that there was an opening outside. I thought oh great we didn't get passed up so they escorted us outside and tell us that it's just the gazebo seating that's available right now and then they gave the lady that came in three minutes behind us the table. Say we went there to eat dinner. We went to have a good time and we got sat on some old crappy broken down patio furniture and then we got ignored by our waitress and several other waitresses never brought us our water and finally brought us our drinks from inside which they told us they were going to bring immediately and it took about 30 minutes to get them. I should've just got up, walked inside and grabbed them off the table myself and then after being ignored, we finished our watered down shitty wine and had to walk up to the bar because we were being ignored to pay the bill and had every waitress eyeball us and freak out like we were going to walk out without paying I have never in all of my life been treated so rudely I was told good things about this place, but I will never be back. This was some of the most disrespectful rudest service I've ever seen in my life. I am a professional chef and I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 30years. This place absolutely put a foul taste in my mouth like never before basically if you're not a regular or senior citizen don't expect to get any kind of customer service. I felt that we were highly discriminated against because of our age. We are in our late 40s although the large portion of the crowd was all gray haired and in their late 60s to 80s I felt that because we were younger. We got the shitty seats and got passed up by the older people so that they could sit at the table. I was disrespected. I was treated rudely and it was completely unacceptable.

If you're planning on visiting, make a reservation for ether a group or private tour. The group tour is $15 per person while the private tour is $150 for the entire group. The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.

Their tour was running late- by late I mean 40 minutes... so we had to shuffle things around party wise. The tour consists I of seeing the animals. Didn't realize that the Ostrich were there for lol meat purposes. During the tour kiddos got to feed them. They have a few different areas to roam, with some tables. It's a decent sized place. I think it could use some TLC though.

I reserved in person for a conference which was being held there. When I never received my confirmation email, I call in and reserved a room. We were supposed to have a ground floor room at the conference rate. When we checked in there was a problem locating reservation. They finally found it but it was not a ground floor room and it was not at conference rates...they did adjust the rates and I actually got a better one but it really was a pain to go through all of the hoops to get it. After we got into our room...(there were three of us)...we went downstairs to do some set up. Went back up and all three key cards did not work. I saw several with this problem during out stay. We got new card and were fine with those the next two days. The last day of our stay, our cards failed 4 times. The desk clerk came up with the master key and let us in but we then had no key to get into the room. We had to make sure one of us was in the room or leave the door open. When asked for a credit for this inconvenience, I was told I could receive points on my account...not exactly what I would call great customer experience to a situation. I do not think that I could recommend this hotel if they are unable to provide a better key service and reservation system. Also, the restaurant was terribly understaffed. We left friends there to go eat outside the hotel and when we came back they were still waiting. The placement of the elevator could have been better also.

We had the breakfast included which was great, there was something for everyone! Eggs, bacon, delicious sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, bready options etc, all good stuff! The onsite restaurant was decent, we ended up eating there twice for convenience sake ...I really liked the meatloaf dinner! The disappointing thing was coming back to an unmade bed and nothing cleaned in the room, after we had specifically asked for it to be cleaned that morning....after a long day out it really makes it not fun for us to have to make our own bed, run down to the front desk for clean towels, the shampoo had run out, the light bulb was burned out in the desk lamp. When we asked why our room was not taken care of, we were told they were understaffed. It was very obvious as the restaurant only had one guy manning it at any given time. Still, despite this, it was a good stay overall as everyone did the best they could and were very helpful.. I would stay here again if in the area.

Knowing that this was going to be one of the most important days in our lives, we did a lot of homework and interviewed several planners. In addition to experience and strong references, the single most important factor to us was chemistry. Warm and genuinely caring, we connected with Carisa from the start and knew we didn't want to entrust our wedding to anyone else. The other factors we considered: 1) clear, reliable communication skills - including the ability to listen and really understand our vision and intention for the event; 2) strong organizational skills and follow-through; 3) established relationships with the best vendors; 4) clear design inspiration and passion; and 5) a game-day MVP who calmly directs the show behind the scenes and makes everything run smoothly. Carisa delivered on every criteria, and, in fact, exceeded our high expectations. It has now been over a year since our special day, and we still get compliments from our guests who tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to! The whole experience was truly joyous and magical, and Carisa and the entire Adornment Events team were essential in making our dream a reality. The financial investment in hiring Carisa and her A-team to seamlessly orchestrate our big day was worth every penny, and we could not have done it without them. We cannot recommend Carisa and Adornment Events highly enough!!!
