The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.
