We were excited to find out the venture we got married also served a weekend brunch. Upon arriving brought back a lot of nostalgia. Taylor even greeted us and welcomed us back! The brunch was quaint and plentiful. There weren't an overs abundant amount of choices but still some really solid spread. We had the prime rib, scallop carpaccio, lots of shrimp cocktail, chicken and beef skewers, salmon, and salmon croquettes. There was also some breakfast items I didn't get too much of as I was indulging on the other items. They had Benedict and omelet to order so definitely had a couple Benedict's. Dangerous item. Overall the food was great and we really enjoyed all the memories being at the venue brought. Also nice to walk around the lake after brunch.

My cousin chose Lakeside Gardens for the venue of her daughter's graduation party. This venue is a hidden gem! It is just gorgeous - the fountains, bridges, gazebo, natural plant life and even the swan and wildlife make this place a memorable venue. It was also a lovely summer day so that leant to the beauty of the festivities. The building venue itself is also gorgeous! They did an amazing job with the table place setting, drink station and food display. You can tell they take great care in their presentation. The staff was service oriented and happy to help anyone! The food was good too - it was a buffet service serving fettuccine alfredo, caesar salad, rolls with butter, breaded chicken, chocolate mousse and cookies. Thai venue has a special place in my heart as my high school sports banquet was held here each year. It is wonderful to see the beauty both now and then. Keep it up!

I thought this was a beautiful venue. I attended a wedding and while I was not part of the planning process from all observations as a guest everything seemed very organized and on point. I didn't really have an expectation with the food, but I thought the meal was decent. I think the appetizer menu/presentation could use some help. Everything was clean and well presented. I liked the fact there was a parking lot and it was free to park. Overall the grounds were well maintained and beautiful.

We got married at Lakeside Gardens, and we are so glad we chose them as our venue! Not only are the grounds beautiful, but the staff was amazing. As part of the "all inclusive" nature, we got a coordinator and Noel was simply the best. Our day wouldn't have been as smooth or amazing as it was without her. She made sure everything was organized and taken care of, from wrangling our vendors to making us plates of food and sneaking us appetizers.

This hidden gem is pure magic! Words can't describe just how much I love this place. I felt transported to a different dimension. One of serenity and peace. It got my guest take a quick, long needed for some, romantic date. To feel young again without a care in the world Taylor and Noelle were so helpful in the process. The food everyone raved about! They just made everything easy and stress free. It rained on my wedding day...yess it did. They were able to set up the ceremony indoors and magically turned it into the reception. They even had clear umbrellas for is to use for our wedding photos! The studio was like a fairy godmother in disguise. Hair and make up was just as I imagined and more. I looked and felt just like a princess! Thank you all for making my wedding dreams come true!

Lakeside Gardens met every one of my expectations! I highly recommend this venue!!! I had my wedding here in June and it was the best possible experience I could have asked for. The staff at Lakeside Gardens set the gold standard for hospitality. Every detail was meticulously handled, thanks in large part to our dedicated wedding coordinator, Kindra. Her expertise and attentiveness ensured that our special day flowed effortlessly, allowing us to relax and savor every moment. I really appreciated how quickly everyone at Lakeside Gardens would respond to any of my questions, and I asked a lot! The hair and makeup team at Lakeside Gardens added to the joyous atmosphere. Their skill and warm personalities made getting ready a fun and memorable experience, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. Stephen Hamilton did an amazing job capturing our wedding day! He has a real talent for capturing candid moments and making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos turned out stunning--truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend him for your special day! We were thrilled with the wedding treats provided by Lakeside's in house baker! The desserts were not only beautifully crafted but also incredibly delicious. We highly recommend for any wedding celebration! Lakeside Gardens surpassed all our expectations and delivered the wedding of our dreams. If you're searching for a venue that combines natural beauty with impeccable service, look no further

Even the weather was celebrating with us because it rained for daysss straight after the wedding

The best location ever! Beautiful venue. I think I knew it was the one the first time I visited and we looked at 3 other venues. EVERYTHING went as smooth on the wedding day. The ceremony (which is the most important to me) and everything else went the way I wanted it to so I was very happy about that. I thought it was perfect! THANK YOU especially to our Coordinator, Noel. She was just a delight to work with! Anyone would be so lucky to have you as their coordinator. We just felt at ease with you. I will definitely recommend you guys for anyone planning their weddings or other events. You are just simply the best! Their in-house vendors are fantastic to work with as well. Everyone, from Noel to their vendors all really listened to my vision of the wedding and made it all happen

We held a celebration of life here for a dear departed friend and all I can say is Wow!! Yes, the place is beautiful and awesome but what made the event more memorable was the event coordinator, Angie. She was just so organized and helpful that you don't need to worry about anything being missed. Once the event was "Live", she was always very watchful on the need of all the guests. Will definitely hold other events here if we have other events.

It's been almost 15 years, but when we got married at Lakeside Gardens, Yelp wasn't really a thing. My husband had been lobbying to get married on a rock wall, but I didn't think that was practical for elderly family members. He was skeptical about using a wedding venue but he was quickly sold on the huge old trees he wanted to have as a backdrop for our wedding photos. The process was so smooth - it made our wedding day a breeze, and our photos turned out amazing.

Is the garden open to the public for viewing? If so, are there specific days people can go view the venue?

After drooling over their Instagram, I knew I had to go. To my dismay I arrived at something that…read moredidn't look like it was a cafe or even opened. I wasn't even sure I was at the right place, thought they were still transitioning from one location to another. Until someone who shared the kitchen popped out. I was told that I should order online and come by for pick up, and was strongly urged to do so because these cheesecakes were really good. When I saw that they were doing a contactless store front, I knew I had to go. This was my opportunity to try it. I texted the owner to ask if the flavor I had my eye on was available. I was halfway there before the owner responded that they had one slice of pandan cheesecake left. There are multiple forms of payment with a card reader, and various apps to pay with online which made this a breeze. The owner Kiana, even popped to introduce herself which I thought was so nice! The flavors here aren't your typical strawberry, chocolate, peanut butter cheesecakes, even though she does offer some variation of them. There's pandan, ube, lemongrass, ginger mango, passionfruit, matcha, guava, pineapple raspberry, and I heard she even cooks up something with the pickle brine from the other business that operates in that kitchen. I thought this would be one of those situations where the food won't look like the picture. The pictures are obviously styled, they look stunning. Nope! The food looked just like what was on Instagram. I am a long time lover of cheesecake, dare I say it's my favorite of the cakes. The condensed milk ube mirror glaze was a lot thicker than I thought it would be and held its form. It wasn't runny and goopy. Loved that it wasn't a sticky mess. The crust was very very thick, I've always wanted more crust on other cheesecakes. On the description, it says it's "jasmine scented almond shortbread cookie crust" slightly saltier than most crusts I've had, but still very enjoyable. I've only had the traditional graham cracker crust and I'm afraid this almond shortbread crust has ruined all other cheesecake crusts for me. I have been disappointed at a lot of places using pandan, because the flavor just wasn't there, not Muse cheesecakes though. Pandan was present indeed. I would have loved if it was a little stronger, but I think that would have overpowered the cheesecake. Each component of the cheesecake are so different and complex on its own. They come together in delicious harmony to make this beautiful slice. I grew up with a lot of Vietnamese food and pandan has a very special place in my stomach.. heart! I've never seen jasmine used outside of tea and condensed milk outside of Vietnamese iced coffee. Kiana definitely has a way with these ingredients and she's a cheesecake goddess! I really can't wait to try the calamansi, Ube, and whatever else is getting cooked up in this delicious kitchen.

Muse cheesecakes make my heart sing and gets me doing a happy dance. I first heard of Muse…read morecheesecakes through instagram. She offers durian cheesecake. Whaaaat? Yep, you heard me right. Durian cheesecake!!!! I am Vietnamese-Cambodian and durian is my jam. I love its pungent goodness in all forms -- pure and un-doctored straight from the prickly shell, ice cream, smoothie, topping on mashed avocado dessert and now.. CHEESECAKE! ohhh my goodness. My heart. I have returned so many times and buying extra slices (possibly buying out her supply for the week...) to share with my family and friends, who have all raved about the cheesecake from here. Durian isn't her only flavor though. She has so many creative flavors and I've noticed she's had comfort flavors from different cultures. To top it off, the owner, Kiana, is a wonderful lady. She is a one woman team and is kicking butt at her game from what I've gathered in the short time I've known her. She could be dead tired, but always has a smile on her face. I almost forgot to rave about her TARO BURGER on a vegan bun. I don't know how frequently she makes them, but if you see it being offered, do yourself a favor and get it. The portion is quite large so be prepared for leftovers. Unfortunately for me, my carnivorous sister gobbled the other portion of my burger right up and didn't even miss her meat. It comes with a vegan mac salad on the side. I am not one to enjoy mac salads usually, I think it's due to the mayo (not a mayo fan), but I actually liked this version. I forgot to take a picture of the burger before it all got inhaled. Sad face.

I decided to visit Hawthorne Asylum, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere reminded me of a night market, except with permanent food carts. It has a fun, lively vibe, and there are so many different food options that there's something for everyone. It's a great place to come with friends or family since everyone can choose something different. There's also a bar in the middle of the food cart pod. We didn't get a chance to try it because we had already ordered boba tea from another vendor, but it looked like a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. I'll definitely check it out the next time I'm back. Overall, Hawthorne Asylum is a fun spot with a great atmosphere and an excellent variety of food.
