Golf is great staff is awesome! Food has great flavor. If you want to golf on a fun but challenging course this is a great spot to be!

They gave me a faulty golf cart and 2 months after they came up withRandom charge and charged me 800 dollars. This place is clearly running out of business so they do shady stuff to make their money The quality is worse then some of the public courses near by definitely don't recommend anyone going here read more

Probably the worst experience I've ever gotten from a country club, let alone a business. We booked this place for a wedding last Sunday, and it was so piss poor, that we couldn't wrap our heads around the thought that this place was supposed to be an established business. To start, the cocktail hour took forever for everyone to get their refreshments, because they were short staffed.. the day it has been booked for a wedding. Then the table arrangements was off, and my table ended up being taken by someone else. Then the food.. it was horrible. The best thing about the food was the asparagus, and that was a strong 3/10. Also, how the hell do you serve hard rice?! How do you even mess up on that?! If you're going to not let us cater our own food, at least make sure your food is good. There was no on-site wedding coordinator there or anywhere for that matter, which had the staff ask us to help pass food around. We were not there to work, so someone there needs to cut us a check, since we had to do work that should've been done by their staff. I highly recommend no one booking them for weddings. They are the absolute worse. Another country club is your best bet. read more

My friend got married at this event in August 2021. They forgot about the rehearsal and had to move guests that were eating dinner. The day of there was no day of wedding coordinator that the bride paid for. They were charged for alcohol they didn't ask to be served. It was poorly planned and they didn't take any accountability. read more

We went to a charity event for homeless animals in Multnomah County. We were in one of the big meeting rooms right next door to the restaurant grill. The place was filled to the gills with about 100-125 folks. There was a live band doing 80s music as well. Despite all the folks and music, the acoustics in the room managed it just fine. I could still have a conversation and my ears were not bloody from the music. There are huge windows, a deck, and the vast view added to the ambience. It's a nice setting and the grounds are well managed. The space was initmate, yet could hold its own with a big group. read more

We booked Persimmon for our wedding in August 2016 for the AMAZING view. Little did we know but we would be getting much much more. I don't have enough words to describe how impressed and happy I am with Persimmon for our wedding. They met every single one of our requests... and there were ALOT. We had a large wedding consisting of 275 guests but Jayde, Kyle and the staff made sure to accommodate each and every one of our guests. They made sure our elderly guests were able to get around easily; made many special meal requests for our elderly, children, vegetarian, and lactose intolerant guests; and even put together an entire inventory list for their supply closet that they allowed us to use. We had so many guests comment on how well they were treated and how they felt much more welcomed than any other country club they had been to. The menu and package flexibility was phenomenal. They have so many options to work with our budget and made sure we got everything we wanted. The food was awesome, use of their massive supply closet was so helpful, and use of their dance floor and wedding arc were all very affordable. We knew we were in the right hands when we showed up at an early 7am in the morning and our bridal suite was completely decked out! Now about Jayde Hall the Persimmon coordinator. We had a long 2 year engagement and Jayde worked with us all throughout that time to make sure every single detail we thought of was carried out. Jayde truly touched our hearts. She not only was efficient, attentive and caring but she treated us as if we were family. I truly don't think our wedding would have been the same without Jayde. read more

If you are looking to book your wedding venue here STAY CLEAR! To sum it up: 1) Numbers kept changing 2) Wedding Coordinator had a family emergency 3) Food took 1 1/2 hours to serve 4) Food did not taste/look like the tasting 5) Under-staffed Overall we had a great time and even though all these things went wrong we enjoyed ourself. My advice: If you are looking to plan your OWN wedding and take on a lot of the responsibility yourself a great place to go - just don't be surprised if the communication is sub-standard and the level of professionalism is straight up MISSING! read more

Celebrated my birthday here in February. Jayde is so helpful planning this stuff. I really appreciated her expertise and input. It was really nice to have venue (room) options, fireplace, patio access, etc... On event day we were warmly greeted by the staff who was diligent and helpful during the entire event. Picked up two take out orders today for UberEats. Waited 20 minutes, then he brought the food out of the kitchen. Noticed half of the first order was missing. The guy said it would be three minutes to get the rest of the order, and he became upset when I told him I'd have to leave with only one order. In the end, I waited without so much as a thank you. I had to repackage the items when I got to my car, due to things tipping order. Also, no markings or slips on the bags specifying which backs belonged to which customer. read more

Arrived around 7pm and were happily surprised at the rather full dinning room. The staff was very friendly. We were promptly offered drinks, it took about ten minutes for the drinks to arrive. Most of our table enjoyed the prime buffet. The cuts were very generous and the cuts were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed the unexpected live music and general cheerful atmosphere. We were guests of members, so not sure if this is open to the public. read more

A good venue but could be so much better with closer attention to details. Only about 1/3 of the decorative roof lighting has operating bulbs. Looks really bad from Butler. The entry sign on Hogan looks ghetto for a country club. And the weeds on both sides of the entry....TACKY. I brought some of this to the attention of the previous manager who apparently was later promoted via the Peter Principle. We just had our wedding here about 1 month ago! OMG it was absolutely amazing!! Jayde and her staff pulled off the biggest day of my life so perfectly. I do have to say my wedding was fairly large and there was a lot to it. I was kind of nervous about how it would all play out. Persimmon went above and beyond my expectations. My wedding day was the most beautiful day ever. Jayde the events director knew what she was doing, and was there for me anytime I had questions or concerns.
