He had the baby back ribs "sticky style" and he said they were the best ribs he has ever had. I had a grilled chicken salad and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries were as good as any I have had. The salad was a salad. I think it was iceberg lettuce. Everything was fresh. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was friendly and attentive. They do allow you to bring your own alcohol, but they do not sell any at the restaurant, so make sure you bring it, if you want it.

On the third day of our planned four-day stay, the hotel owner decided he had the "right" to enter our room while we were sleeping and despite a 'Do Not Disturb' tag hanging on our room's door. The only thing that prevented the door from fully opening was the interior safety door latch. I immediately jumped up to see who was trying to enter our room and met the hotel owner and his entire entourage. The reason given - to measure for new curtains. After I gave him and the rest of his team an earful, I started packing and we checked out and left that same day. The front-desk manager even told me that everyone warned the owner not to proceed with his plans. We had to scramble to find another hotel since we had prepaid plans for an event that same evening. After our trip was completed, I made NUMEROUS calls and even sent an email to the hotel's General Manager and never heard from anyone. In fact, the front desk staff did NOTHING to put me in touch with the General Manager and told me to keep leaving voicemails - which all fell on deaf ears. I eventually took my complaints to Hilton Corporate Executive Guest Relations. They weren't much better. They seemed to force the hotel's hand in making them send me a form apology letter. The letter did not address any of my complaints or requests and was very insincere. In the end, the hotel did refund back one night of my stay and after three weeks of working with Hilton Corp via email, they will be refunding via a mailed check for another night. The token refund by Hilton is, in my opinion, too little too late. Meaning, I had to FIGHT for everything from Hilton Corp and to this day I have yet to hear anything from the hotel owner or the General Manager. Here is the takeaway. In my opinion and experience, Hilton Corp is nothing more than a money front, a toothless tiger. Their loyalty lies with their properties and not with their guests. I say that because if they truly cared about what happened to one of their guests, then all of this would have been handled much differently and much better and not have required me to go back and forth with a Corp POC for 15 days and be told that this rule was followed and this situation does not apply due to this policy. Instead, be like Sears used to be - 'Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back'. In my case, I never received the satisfaction I expected from a very wrong action by the hotel owner and his staff. Another word to the wise. Today's hotels all sport the famous business names that we all know, but keep in mind they are all independently owned and operated. With that being the case, if you have a problem and cannot get it resolved by the hotel leadership (or in my case the problem was caused by the hotel leadership), then you will have to fight with their "Corporate" people and perhaps receive the same disappointment that I have experienced. Truly sad to see our country's businesses being bought by people who do not support and believe in the American values that we all have grown up in and come to expect. Instead, we are all just a dollar amount and no one really cares what you go through or don't get as a result of an illegal room entry or other caused infraction. For me, I will NEVER stay at another Hilton-branded hotel EVER again. Not worth the potential heartache and fruitless fight.

I recently tried the cucumber salad and am now obsessed. I hope this is not a seasonal item. The inside is a wine bar with plenty of options to choose from. Even if you aren't getting wine or one of the batched cocktails in side I still recommend walking through. The vibes are high and the interior design is gorgeous. The outside had plentiful seating. If you're lucky, you might get a seat around a real wood fireplace. If I could suggest one thing to Urban Cowboy it would be to provide blankest to those sitting outside without the fire place. I believe they do have blankets set out but I was unsure if I could take them so I just left them on the chair. I think it would be better to have an area with a sign saying "blankets for guests" or something along the lines. I always get a dirty martini at Urabn Cowboy. Its crisp yet dirty and always hits the spot. Another good option here is a aperol spritz. Theres always a line at the bar. I've talked to the bartenders and he confirmed you DO NOT have to line up in a single file line but it always happens. You can walk up like a normal bar and order!!

Located in East Nashville away from the widespread tourist traps of Broadway, the bed and breakfast is in a cooler, mostly residential neighborhood, and it has its own "public house" separate from the main house but connected by a popular yard with lots of seating. The night we went was warm, and there were plenty of people in the pub, but the loud rap music playing over the speakers didn't seem to fit the vibe of the thoughtful interior design at all to me. I should note I would feel the same if they were blasting the same country top 40 as the spots on Broad or regular top 40, and I know, to some, it's a petty thing, and the staff probably play what they want, but as far as ambiance goes, that was the only negative thing I remember feeling at the time, and because it was audio, it was inescapable. If the music had been a bit lower or had been instrumental, I think it would have been a more immersive experience. We got nice drinks in the parlor bar and enjoyed the music room, and the visual aspect was lovely. I wished I'd had more time to spend there. Perhaps there'll be a "next time."

I was in Centerville for work and noted the distinct lack of (what I consider to be) quality…read morelodging. I decided to give a B&B a try (even though I don't like forced socialization and don't consider myself to be a B&B type of gal.) But I didn't want to drive 30 minutes every day to work, so I gave in. Wow. First, beautiful home. Tasteful furnishings, nicely done. I stayed in the Lincoln Room, which was large and comfortable. Each bedroom has a private (modern) bathroom, Satellite TV, a personal ice maker and Keurig (with all the fixings), plenty of seating and storage. Oh, and wi-fi (which I was incredibly grateful for). The InnKeeper Sharon was pleasant and friendly, without being overbearing. She was so incredibly accommodating, making breakfast around my schedule. And the breakfasts were almost too big. Homemade, tasty, really lovely. The price was so reasonable as well. My favorite part was sitting on the front porch each evening, drinking a glass of wine (from a local winery) and enjoying the quiet. As a city girl, I don't want the peace and quiet too often, but it was nice for a few days. If work takes me back to Centerville (sigh), I will absolutely stay here. Seriously, give it a try. You won't be sorry. Probably.
