My husband was called for his 11:20am appointment, went in, took a seat and was soon called for his interview which didn't take long. You get your photo taken along with fingerprints. He had to show his drivers license, but not utilities or paycheck stub. Parking is just down the street in a free lot. My husband's approval for an interview came up about 2 months after he initially applied. I was approved to make an appointment for an interview the very next morning after applying and had my interview at the San Diego airport, which we preferred as it was not so far to drive. Making people from north county drive all the way to Otay is inconvenient. They should have satellite locations available. Hopefully if we reapply, we don't have to go through the interview process again. We flew twice domestically where one of us had Global Entry and one didn't and there wasn't much difference in the time getting through TSA, (In fact the one without G.E. was a smidge quicker on one of the legs) so not sure if it's worth it, but we'll see over the next 5 years.

I accidentally ended up in the wrong lane while trying to return to the U.S. from Mexico. The GPS directed me that way, and although the lane said "Medical" in Spanish, it also said "USA," so I assumed it was the correct way. A couple of other cars made the same mistake and entered that lane with me. The cops immediately started screaming at us & made us back out of the lane. They stopped and immediately started asking for my ID, registration, and other documents. I explained that it was an honest mistake and that I was just trying to get home. Despite this, they gave us a long lecture and then threatened to impound my car and said I'd have to pay a large fine. Then things escalated -- they demanded we open all of our bags and show them how much cash we had. After that, they started saying it wasn't enough. They proceeded to search our entire car, including the trunk, without giving us any reason or asking for consent. A man nearby -- a Spanish-speaking local -- began yelling at the officers, telling them to leave us alone and saying they had no legal right to search us. He seemed to know what was going on and called them out on it. After that confrontation, the officers' demeanor changed. They suddenly told us to follow them back into Mexico. We had no choice but to comply. Once we were out of the way, they pulled us over again, TOOK ALL OUR CASH, returned my ID, and told us to get back in the proper line to cross the border. US CITIZENS NEED TO STOP GOING TO MEXICO AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE ECONOMY!!!! We go to get away for a small vaca & look what happens to us, cops are corrupted. You can't even enjoy your time because people are BEGGING for money, 6yr old children & up are working/talking to strangers for money, people are carrying puppies & holding them up to your window for sale while you're waiting in the boarder line.

On Sunday, August 9, 2026 around 7 PM, this senior woman walked over to the bedroom door and opened up the door on this other elderly woman's door without getting her permission. Then S. was searching on M's bed to see if she could find this Roku Remote Control Device in M's bedroom. Then I saw M. go into her own room and I heard M. say to S. to get out of her bedroom and she told S. to stop looking for her Roku Remote Control Device in M's Room. Then I heard S. took M's purse then she hit M. on the head very hard . Then S. took her right hand and punched M. In the face. I was in my room when this incident occurred. I left my room to walk out to the family room to watch television . I saw S. Walk out of M'. Room and then S. walked towards her room went inside, then she locked her bedroom door and she stayed inside her room. I saw M. walk out of her bedroom and she was Crying a lot . M. said that S. Punched her in the face with her fist then she took her purse and swung her purse at her head 4 times then S. Hit her 4 times on the top of her head. I wasn't able to witness this incident because I happened to be inside my own bedroom at that time at 7 PM. Since M. was physically assaulted twice by S. I called the 911 Emergency Services Dispatcher phone number. The phone rang twice and this woman dispatcher said 911 What's Your Emergency? I told this 911 Emergency Services Dispatcher woman, to send out the Ambulance and to also dispatch me the San Diego Police Officers plus this PERT Team. The word PERT means Psychiatric Emergency Response Team. One person this older Blonde Haired Woman wearing a light blue tee shirt came over to my house with one police officer with dark brown hair that has a mustache. These 2 people are on this PERT team for Mentally Unstable people . I also asked the 911 Operator to dispatch out an Falk Ambulance at the same time to check on this elderly woman named M. to have these paramedics examine M. Because she was punched in the face by this woman tenant who is a resident here. This is the (Second Time) that older woman S. has punched this Senior Citizen woman and she also hit M. really hard on the top of her head 4 times. My job as the House Manager was to manage things like this going on in this house, When these 2 Paramedics arrived at my home within 15 minutes , I saw the Ambulance Truck parked halfway down the hill. Also the San Diego Police Officers arrived on scene. I saw there was 3 Police SUV Cars parked towards the Falk Ambulance. Then there was a hard knock on the front door. I said yes? This senior SD Cop who was in charge said that I called them to talk with S. who has physically assaulted M. At our house . So Me and M. was told he these 2 SD Cops to wait outside in front of our house to talk to them. M. was crying a lot and explaining to these 2 paramedics that S. Punched her in the face and then took M. Purse and swung it at her then hit her head 4 times with her purse on the top of her head. This younger woman paramedic was talking gently to the woman M. who has been assaulted twice by this same woman last year. This woman is still living in our house even though the owner Juanita has tried several times ti give this S an Eviction notice. It's horrible for me to see such Violent Act in a place where I call my home. Anyway, I stayed outside the house for several hours talking to these 2 Mexican Police Officers in trying to resolve this situation. One of these San Diego Cops said he will call the owner of our home to ask her to file a Emergency Temporary Restraining Order and drive over to the SD Courthouse and then the owner Juanita will have to wait several hours later to ask the judge to approve this Temporary Emergency Restraining Order. Then Juanita, Michelle and I will be assigned a court hearing on September 4, 2026 at 9 AM. My review on these 2 Mexican San Diego Police Officers is a 5 stars - Excellent Review. My lower Rating is on this PERT TEAM for this older woman Employee and her partner who is a San Diego Police Officer. A couple of times, I walked inside the house to listen to the conversations between Sharon who's the Suspect and Linda who works with the Mentally Unstable People. Linda had a very rude and unprofessional attitude towards me and Michelle who was the victim. Linda didn't even say one word to Michelle in asking if she was alright when she was being beaten up by Sharon. Linda also is terrible at her job in trying to fix this issue with Sharon's violent behavior towards Michelle who was accused of stealing Michelle's Remote Control Device. Michelle said she didn't take Sharon's Roku Remote Control Device.

My good friend and I was helping her to fill out a police report for a serious crime that was committed against her by another person that is currently living there now. I was very disappointed when me and my good woman friend was dropped off by a Uber Driver that date and the. when I looked on the front door for their hours this San Diego Police Station was closed. I couldn't evaluate their police officers because they were CLOSED. It's difficult for me to give this San Diego Mid-City Division Police Station a proper Review because their Police Station closes too early at 12 PM.
