I arrived early to complete the necessary paperwork and was pleased to be seen immediately by the vascular technologist, Cody F. The facility was easy to navigate with ample parking, and the entire procedure was painless and professional. I want to specifically commend Cody F. for his exceptional care. He was professional, kind, and clearly highly skilled. He took the time to explain the procedure and ensure I was comfortable throughout the exam. It is clear that he is an outstanding ambassador for his field and for the high standards maintained at Tri-City. Don't let the trash build up outside the front door fool you, the service is worse. After waiting an hour and fifteen minutes to see Dr LY, I was given information that could have been sent by text. I mentioned that to Dr LY and his response was I was free to leave and not come back, probably the best advice he could give any patient. read more

The doctor care is great. The office staff in person is very friendly. However when you call it's a totally different story. It makes you feel uneasy to call and ask questions. God forbid. Dr. Robison and his PA are good but the office is a bit of a disaster in Gilbert. I had an echocardiogram scheduled (that took over a month to get) for Monday morning with a 6:55 a.m. check-in. I check-in and they charge my co-pay and sit down. I am called back to the desk pretty quickly to be told that the technician called in and they have to reschedule my appointment. However the person I was speaking to did not know how to reschedule the appointment so said that I would be called to reschedule and that my copay would be refunded (have to check that). My bad for scheduling an appointment for the first thing Monday morning but the idea they do not have a backup, cannot reschedule and then do not follow up on their promise to call me because it is 3 days now and they have not called. Someone needs to take a look at that front office is operating. read more

I wanted to make sure I was in a good heart health and although there was nothing in particular bothering me, I thought it would be a good idea to establish a cardiologist in network just in case. Due to my own personal reasons, I had to reschedule this appointment multiple times. They were really nice about it and it was easy to reschedule. They were booking pretty far out, but since it wasn't urgent, I truly didn't care. They really nailed you with emails, though. They probably emailed me over 20 times trying to get me to set up an account and fill out my information ahead of time. I must be a really bad patient, but I never do that. I finally had to ask them to unsubscribe me. It's a little bit difficult to find. You got a love when your GPS just drops you off in a plaza and says that "you've arrived" and you still have no idea where you are. After doing a few circles, I found it. Parking is available outside. What I did like is although I didn't pre-fill my information, it didn't take me very long since I really didn't have any pre-existing conditions. I didn't have to wait long to go back there and after I met with the nurse who checked my heart, I only had to wait about 10 minutes until I met the doctor, maybe not even. I'm used to waiting a lot longer these days so I was happy about that. The doctor was really nice. He said there wasn't much he could do for me because I didn't have any pre-existing conditions, he told me how to best take care of myself moving forward and the big age milestones that I would need to come back for. Overall, this was more of a visit for a peace of mind. The place is a little bit chilly so maybe bring a sweater. I recommend the doctor. He was pretty laid-back. read more

My whole experience was terrible. Probably the worst experience in a medical office. Chaos, long waits, say they will get back to you and it takes extended times. If they are short handed because of Covid they should take fewer patients. The doctor spent more time fighting with her computer than examining me. I was so confused by her recommendations and she wouldn't explain and suggested I talk to the office staff who had her notes. But they were too busy to talk to me. A few days later I got called by another company to schedule a CT exam. I decided to get a second opinion from another cardiologist and my experience was the opposite and his recommendation was more on track with what I was told should happen by my primary care physician. I think the stressful environment is affecting their whole process. So glad I trusted my gut to go somewhere else. read more

I would never go there or take your elderly mother like I did. When asked a question about having to wear a mask the lady got very aggressive with me and was rude and unprofessional. I asked a few more questions such as their employees behind the desk did not have mask in when we walked in and they decided to try to throw me out because they did not have an answer. My mother had to wait 3 months for a simple echo. One snowflake woman in there was the worst! I would not give them my business if I were you. Just really had people. The Docs may be good but some of the staff are horrid! read more

I went to see a doctor here for chest/jaw pains on occasion. Within 30 seconds of my appt, he said I had a blockage in my heart and would need surgery. He sent me for a stress test, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY HEART. The jerk didn't even have the nerve to see me in person. Sent a nurse to say.. nothing wrong with you, have a nice day, don't come back. They have also been billing the wrong INSURANCE company and NOW, two years later, bill me for services. My doctor is good and I'm very pleased with him in the office so I'm gonna give Tri-City cardiology Five Star and additionally everybody there has been extremely pleasant kind and helpful. Additionally I overheard some poor reviews that seemed like some very thin skinned overly sensitive people don't know how to use Yelp well. Here's my suggestion because I was on the phone for 1 hour and 40 minutes again today. If you can't hire people to answer the phone because you can't find them look for a company that will do it for you because you will lose patients. I sit on an a medical board and this is exactly one of the things we address with all of our patient advocates. When people call the doctors office it's not like they're looking for Uber eats or to make a reservation at a restaurant for dinner they are calling usually because they need help so there should be a sense of urgency. You can't provide a sense of urgency when you make people wait one hour just to get through. read more

My physician is excellent, and my overall review would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the difficulty of getting to a person to make an appointment. Today I have been on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes and still no one is taking the call. There hasn't even been an offer of a call back! I am an established patient, so there would be no extended phone call with me. As I read other reviews, this has been an ongoing problem but the office has so little respect for the patients that it still has not been remedied. This is NOT a difficult situation to remedy, does the practice just want us to do our own scheduling on line to lower overhead (i.e eliminate human employees)? read more

Level of service has totally gone down. Incompetent and uncaring assistants, even a small refill request were not taken care of. Long waits and disorganized at the checkout counter. With a practice this big they should invest with a queue management system with ticket numbers instead of honor system were patients can just cut you off the line. My son went in for a second opinion on a EKG he got from an urgent care. TCC performed a EKG of their own and didn't find anything, but Dr. Shechter wanted my son to perform a stress test because of the reading he saw on the urgent care's EKG not the one they just performed. He would not clear my son for sports activity without a stress test. About 3 weeks later my son performed the stress test. Dr. Shechter didn't find anything concerning with the stress test, but yet again wanted my son to perform another test. When we confronted him, he even stated that he didn't see anything, but just want to be sure my son is ok. That when we pulled the plug on TCC. Dr. Shechter and TCC is clearly a money and insurance claims game. I reported to my insurance the unwarranted, unjustified, and unsupported tests requested on my perfectly healthy, athletic 18 y/o son who just needs a second opinion on a poorly perform EKG by an urgent care. Steer clear from TCC, they will become a drain on you and your insurance. read more

had extreme chest pain-doctor ignored previous heart condition i mentioned said get an echo test, a week & a half later no results. when i called they said "if it was something i would have heard" ?? I called again & found out nobody had looked at or read ??? I asked to get a copy of test, she stammered made excuses then said it would be $25.00 ! My mother, after being told she has a high likelihood of dilated cardiomyopathy, was told to schedule an angiogram. Almost three weeks later she has not heard back, despite their voicemail saying they will return a message within 48-72 hours. Life altering diagnosis...followed by silence. Like many others, my experience with this practice has been awful. They scheduled a stress test over a month out. (That was they best they had.) Then received a call two weeks later saying "oops" somehow they double booked me with another patient and they would need to reschedule ... another month out. They don't answer the phones. You sit on hold for 30 minutes or more. In desperation, you agree to be transferred to their answering service who takes your name and number but you don't get a call back. Run don't walk and take your heart somewhere else! read more

My husband met with his cardiologist last Friday September 16 regarding tests that were done on his heart. The cardiologist, Dr Le, read the results and said his scoring for blockage was so high that he needed to get an angiogram asap and that they may possibly need to get stents inserted or if the blockage was not treatable with the stents, heart surgery may be required. The copy of the doctors notes state that the procedure needed to be scheduled asap. Today is Tuesday after 5 pm and we are still waiting for a call from scheduling. We have tried calling and have left several messages for someone named Rita Poole who was listed on the doctors order as the contact trying to get a response, any response but NOTHING. This is a cardiology practice and not a practice where things are put off or there is no communication. Dr Le is great but we'll be looking for another cardiologist. Delaying scheduling and not communicating only increases the stress and possibility of a cardiac event that kills someone. read more

I have tried for months to get someone to call me back for a tilt test and they don't. They do not schedule their appointments in a timely manner. The physician I was seeing retired and no one has followed up with another doctor for me to see. Glad I have not had to go to the emergency room again for my heart because they don't care. read more

It took all day, hours of frustration to get a call back from my cardiologist and or nurse. Experiencing excessive high blood pressure and medication seems not be working. The telephone customer service people disconnected , hang up, seem not to care. They disclose it will be 4 days to get a call back. This scared the crap out of me, especially when my blood pressure was at heart attack, stroke levels. A nurse finally returned my call when I gave up and was driving to the hospital at 5p. They prescribed something that will help. TriCiti cardiology may be too big to care for patients. The feeling of not being cared for was certainly communicated to me. They tell you to come 20 min early and everytime I have come they apologize because they are 30 minutes behind. Something is wrong with your system. Expect to sit in waiting room a while in waiting room and I have been waiting over 30 min for the dr to come into the room. Take a look at your systems. read more

We have been calling for days, waiting on hold for over 2 hours at a time, requested appointments through the patient portal, and requested call backs through the phone option for DAYS still no call back or responses through the patient portal! We are an existing patient, we are told in order to refill the heart medication we must see the cardiologist. The Cardiologist is great, but if w e can't get in to see him then this is system is broken. read more

I would absolutely NOT go to this practice if I were needing a Cardiologist for anything!! I just received a call from someone telling me that I was no longer welcome to see the doctor because I was not ok that I was waiting for over an hour until they finally announced to a waiting room full of people that it was going to be another hour wait. Myself and another gentleman had to pay our copays upfront and were not able to get refunds because we could not stay and wait another hour. The doctor himself was wonderful, however this experience was inexcusable and I moved on. This was 2 weeks ago. Today, this woman just called very rude and told me not to ever come in again. :/ No worries- I won't. Good luck to anyone else who has to deal with this. The staff was friendly and efficient. All appointments were scheduled and coordinated by them. They even processed a credit back to the HSA account once he was finished with his visits. Can't get any better than this. Needing a second EKG before surgery Tri-City scheduled me within 2 days. When seeing the results it became more testing would be necessary to get surgery clearance. Taylor in communications worked her magic and got me scheduled for everything I needed. What could have taken months Tri-City fast tracked me to make sure I had results for my surgeon in time for pre op appointment. The staff at Banner Baywood office were kind, understanding and explained everything along the way. I can't remember the last time office staff impressed me so much making sure I had everything I needed and didn't have any questions. The medical staff took a stressful situation for me and made it a positive experience that left me hopeful everything will be on time. Tri-City Cardiology did it's job my heart is full. I had been a patient of the same MD for 10 years. Each year office visits were shorter and shorter. No thorough evaluation. Most recently, seven minutes. Explained I was now symptomatic over the past year, which is what we had been watching. Described my symptoms, which were severe. MD dismissed my concerns, did not order any further testing. Prescribed a pill for hypertension, which I did not have, and said to return in a month. Well, one pill dropped my pressure. Followed up with new heart group, had extensive testing, found to need a new mitral valve. Had surgery, and doing well. Tricity really missed the boat. Poor quality of care. Really declined over the years. Like an assembly line when in any of their offices. Would not recommend. read more

There is not an option for negative numbers or else I would have chosen a -10. I had a 4:30 appointment and they rushed me out because the receptionist wanted to go home. Next time stop your appointments at 4. When it was time to check out the receptionist was telling patients they would be called tomorrow to set up appointments because they were close and the had to go home. Little surprise with all the negative reviews, fiancé had to go in for an appointment to get checked, and I took her there to be supportive in case she received any bad news. They refused to let her have a guest in with her, and turned me away at the door, yet allowed an older couple in front of us to both come in and I heard them clarify that it was only the husband there for his appointment. The hypocrisy is infuriating. Regardless, why enforce a rule (selectively it seems) like that while the general rule most practices adhere to during year two of COVID, which is to allow 1 guest per patient? About five years ago after a wild night with a frozen margarita, the best friend, hours of nonstop crazy heart palpitations,and a trip to the emergency room I was referred to TriCity Cardiology. I soon discovered I have a condition called heart arrhythmia in addition to a slight heart murmur. Most cases of arrhythmia are harmless but some can cause serious symptoms and can be fatal. My Dad had open heart surgery around my same "young" age which caused me to take this serious and want to have a good doctor. Doctor Heinrich has been just that and more.He is very thorough having ran several tests consisting of Echocardiograms, EKGs, and after experiencing more episodes even placing me on a heart monitor and small doses of medication. Doctor Heinrich and his staff have always made me feel comfortable, are friendly, caring and don't make me feel like just another patient on the list. They call days in advance to remind me of my appointment and there is never the long dreaded waiting room times, I'm seen within minutes. After being able to be off my medication, minimal symptoms that are now few and far between, and the last few years of good test results I am happy to say that I do not have to return for next year's follow up and tests! I'm thankful for the great care that I received at from Dr. Heinrich and his staff at TriCity Cardiology and know if I ever need to return my heart will be in great hands! This is my first experience ever with a cardiologist so I'll share my experience. It's nerve racking to say the least even frustrating at times, but looking back at the whole experience I wouldn't change a thing, because I was probably way more difficult than the staff was.. Now when it comes time laying in a hospital bed and getting worked on you want the best Doctor/team, and that's what I got. I saw two cardiologist, and both were great, however Dr. Robison seemed like the best fit for me. He was straight to the point and how we were going to proceed to fix me. It comes down to trust, and this Dr. earned it and did exactly what he said he would do. Dr. Robison was personal, professional, and the work was flawless. I was greatful to have had my team otherwise I would have been planning an escape 5 mins after I arrived at the hospital. My advice is find the best fit for you and don't be afraid to ask questions, don't get frustrated with the staff. At the end of the day go with the right fit for you. read more

I have had three visits to Tri-City and have been promptly seen at my scheduled appointment time. Service has been excellent with a really great cardiologist and very supportive staff. The only thing I would change is they have two wide screen TV's in the waiting room - and they are tuned to different channels. Other than that, everything is perfect! read more
