Normally with what I've just dealt with I would give them a 1-star, but the PAs and Doctors are fairly good. The office on the other hand is a dumpster fire. With the distinct lack of any type of in of inter-office communication, coupled with the ability to say sorry, but do nothing when aiding a patient. It makes it easy to see how little they care. If you're going to ask a patient to a) come in earlier then the time your office provided, and tell the patient they owe no payment. The least you can do is comp the visit and their wasted time. "I'm so sorry but there is nothing we can do to help." Just prepare to hear that a lot if they make a mistake. Sadly If this a norm, I can see why some many americans are dying from preventable diseases, it almost feels like they don't care, or they are not paid enough to care. read more

Dr Khan is incredible but the office itself seems horribly mismanaged. There is no patient portal to submit questions and whenever I call, I'm on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes and the hold music is terrible. It's all incredibly frustrating. Often times I have to call back a few times just to get resolution. read more

Been going here for years but it's impossible to get an appointment anymore. If you call it takes an hour to get someone and then you get someone in a Philippines call center. You try to make an appointment on the app and it tells you they will call you back to make an appointment and no one does. What has happened to this place and why are you now outsourcing your calls to the Phillipines this is why there's no staff there anymore. You try to call for medical help and it's an hour call to just get someone in the Phillipines who cant so anything. read more

I used to love this place. Now ,not so much. They rarely answer their phones and if they do, the hold is over 15 minutes. Four times now I have had to call back to request a prescription that should have been sent. They overcharged for service and I had to call twice to get resolution. Time for a new PCP. read more

Geolene is wonderful. She is very thorough, asks the right questions and has compassion. I continue to come to this practice because of her. She understands when something isn't quite right and listens to her patient. I feel supported in my health needs with her. Overall, the office feels pretty quiet. You will never be able to speak to a live person. After waiting on hold to speak to someone I was then told to leave a message. Made an online appointment for 5pm and arrived at 30 seconds past 5pm. The door was locked and a staff member opened the door and was VERY RUDE and said I was late for my appointment. Upon waiting at the front desk without being greeted, I was told that I would not be able to be seen. They don't make the rules. How about the fact that I had been trying to call them all day and left a message but never heard back. No care for the patient. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Martin's for 4-5 years. I generally like her as a doctor, though she rarely has any idea about my history without me filling her in or correcting her. So much for reviewing medical records before you see a patient. These days, I think it's just too much to ask. But, my one star is because of the office and medical staff, especially the revolving door of MAs. The turnover and utter lack of common sense and follow through is astounding and I've decided to find another provider. The staff knows next to nothing about the medical world, is rude (or clueless), and flat out doesn't do what the say they are going to do. When you have to call in multiple times for the same thing, it is typically a 15-20 minute hold and then you have to start all over with someone new. I just can't do it anymore. I believe how the staff presents is a direct reflection on how the doctors treat them and if they are decently compensated. The buck stops with the doctors and in this case, they are not taking their practice seriously. read more

I have been with East Valley Primary Care for over 15 years. Dr. Mickus, my physician is amazing as is his PA, Geolene. They are both very attentive, knowledgeable and proactive. I never feel rushed during the appointment, any questions I have are always answered. My 88 year old mother is a client as well and is also very satisfied with the care. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming, we are always seen in a timely fashion. It is also convenient having Sonora Quest in the office for lab work! read more

Dr. Mickus is an excellent physician, always informed about my lab, gives me time to talk, and provides feedback and advice.

The office staff is phenomenal!! The providers are very easy to speak with (no crazy fancy Medical terminology, just plain conversation with facts. The care provided is genuine and realistic, no fancy tricks. read more

They only care about making money. Won't answer a question on the phone . Simple question you have to make appointments. No patient portal I've never even seen my primary care doctor. I'm always referred to the assistant. They only want your money. They don't even care and when you call their office, you could be on the phone for 20 to one hour worst doctors office ever you can't even communicate with them. I'm done with them. I am a patient here and have been for a few years now, i have called i don't know how many times now to try and my prescription refilled as I have severe asthma. The girl on the phone tells me she sends it over to the Dr. and yet I will call a few days later and get a different person on the phone that tells me there is no notes showing that I called for a prescription refill and that they'll send it over to the Dr. NOTHING HAS BEEN SENT STILL and it's been 2 months now. Now i can't even get an answer on the phone and I can't breathe. Very disappointed in this staff lately. read more

I've been coming here for over 15 years. Staff is always nice, and efficient. I get good care, and trust their referrals to specialists. They almost always keep their appointment times. When I have something urgent, I can at least see a PA of my PC doctor isn't available. Sonora Quest is on site for labs, and that's very convenient. I like this practice. read more

I was having a normal exceptional visit here and thought I should really leave a review since most reviews places get are usually from complainers but i have none for this practice. I've seen Tracey Martin on and off over the years and she somehow always remembers my face. I've also gotten comfortable seeing whomever is available, so I've had visits with all the practitioners and never had any complaints. Everyone here is kind and caring from the front desk staff to the providers. today Shayla was the individual who initially took me to the room and asked all the questions and she was so so nice she's the main reason i write this. She shared a personal medical story that made me aware of something to keep an eye out for based off a current experience which i greatly appreciated. She also used a trick to give me my shot and it didn't hurt at all so I'll be remembering that going forward!! The provider i saw today, Kali, for my well women's exam took the time to explain all the details of why she's doing this or not going to do that or what to expect tests wise in the coming years and why. I am 39 and lots of not fun things like mammograms and colonoscopies are in the future haha. She also fully answered all of my questions, and she's like that every time. I never feel rushed here by anyone. Definitely recommend, and i have. My mom and husband switched to here. read more

It turns out that my symptoms were more significant than I thought, life threatening actually. Thank you Kali for making sure I didn't brush it off like I'm prone to do. This was the worst primary care experience I have ever endured. I have seen some bad physicians' offices before, this was next level horrible. NEVER EVER GO HERE!!! First - the insisted on overcharging me by 3x for the office visit despite the copay being clearly printed on my insurance card. I argued with the office admin about it, she claimed there was an arbitrary code that dictated my cost. That was not a fact-based reality. I called the insurance company and found I had in fact been ripped off. I called the office, they admitted fault, and said they would get me a refund. That was four weeks ago and I've yet to see my refund, or any movement towards getting one. Second - the sleep medication they prescribed required a preauthorization from the insurance company. After two weeks of waiting hey were unable to get that preauthorization, and refused to provide an alternative medicaiton. When I called the office, the PA was very combative and insisted I call the insurance company to find out what sleep meds they would cover. I'm not a DR. Why would I better at selecting and negotiating my sleep meds with the insurance company than the DR would be? HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I'm again on my own with my insomnia looking for a primary care physician that cares. Be clear about this - NEVER EVER FOR ANY REASON GO TO EAST VALLEY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS!!! They will overcharge and underdeliver!!! read more

Love this office! Not only is the front office staff always helpful and friendly but I can actually get an appointment when I am sick! I love how safe they have been since Covid, using a side entrance for sick patients. The doctor is always willing to spend the time to answer my questions and the times I'm in a rush they are always efficient and get me in and out. read more
