For what it is, this place is good. I have been lucky in that each time I've gone there hasn't been a wait. Sometimes this place is mobbed. It is appropriately named. It IS little. One prescribing practitioner on site. Just be forewarned, they can only handle the simplest of medical issues. If this is the case, then it's great. If you have a complicated issue, turn around and walk away. Don't waste your time. The RNP took plenty of time with us and answered all of our questions. We did not feel rushed at all and she was very thorough. I would recommend this business. It wasn't my first time and it won't be my last. You can't beat the convenience! read more

My wife (who is 7 months pregnant), showed up 5 min before closing to get a prescription and were told by the nurse practitioner they were already closed and couldn't help us. I point out it was 5 min before their hours of operation say they're closed. She rudely replied " that doesn't matter." I asked her if she could take into consideration we already traveled to two other locations who weren't able to get us in and this was our final stop to try in get a prescription. She said "I've already cleaned up and we're leaving." The lack of compassion and professionalism from a place of business who is supposed to help those who are suffering is unbelievable. Sometimes, it is not what you say but how you say it that makes all the difference. The doctor poked her head out after talking with her assistant and said "no, we're closed." And the. Shut the door. Went in, had a pretty bad and painful cough that presented with light chest pressure and shortness of breath. Registration was quick. NP was Kimberly... something? She came in and told me she would be going back and forth between two patients, which, totally fine I thought. I'm very audibly hacking and it's clearly causing me pain, otherwise healthy young adult. She asks questions, then looks in my ears and throat. She asks me if I was covid testing/streptesting/flu testing like she isn't sure. I ask for strep since it was recently at my place of work, and it comes back negative. After that, Tells me I have a double ear infection behind the drum? I let her know that I've had chronic ear infections, even as an adult and I don't feel anything or have any symptoms of an ear infection that I've ever seen. She says it presents differently in adults. And kept telling me "you're going to be my mystery for the day". First second and third red flag. If it's such a mystery how did you give me the diagnosis of an ear infection, DOUBLE, at that. I asked if I would be clear to return to work since it was an ear infection. She says no because I might be contagious and the antibiotics would clear up any other issues I was having. I ran with it because hey I'm not a doctor. Picked up some antibiotics and carried on with my day. The next night I'm rushed to the ER because I cannot breathe and I was in extreme pain. I bring with the paperwork from her clinic, give it to the doctor while my husband does his best to explain since I can barely talk. When he said ear infection we were looked at like we were crazy. The ER doctor immediately checks my ears and said that was not true and there's an infection in my lungs. He was even fuming at her lack of diagnostic. Several X-rays, IV steroids and pain relief, prescription steroids, EKG's, swab and blood tests, and 8 hours of hospital monitoring, they ONLY released me when I was breathing more regularly and could somewhat speak. mind you, I was breathing pretty dang bad when I went into her too. If she didn't know, she should have referred me to someone who did. It's okay not to know. It's NOT OKAY to pick the one place a patient can't see and say that's the problem and hope for the best. I'm glad I doubted her, and thank GOODNESS for the ER staff that cared enough to actually try to help me. Don't waste your time here. Please know if I get a bill, I will fight it under malpractice law. read more

I came in with a scary situation that I wasn't sure they could handle. They saw me promptly and both nurse practitioners came in the room and evaluated me and together diagnosed me. They prescribed me a bunch of antibiotics to help me get well. They also advised me of a discount prescription program since I have no health insurance. They both had a gentle and concerned bed side manner. I will definitely be back for myself and the rest of my family. read more

I called yesterday to find out if they had the Covid Booster vaccine, and the guy at Little Clinic said THEY DO have the Booster Vaccine (but wait, don't stop reading now....it only the Pfizer booster, NOT Moderna, BUT they wont tell you that). He said "But we only give it to immune compromised people". I told him that I am immune compromised and he told me to book an appt on line and bring my drivers license and Health ID card. I booked an appt for this afternoon, left work early and arrived at Little Clinic on south Rural Rd. The rude Hispanic chick that checked me into my appt, was very annoyed that I wanted a booster vaccine. She snapped at me that they only give boosters to immunity compromised people, looking at me like I was not immune compromised. I told her why I was immune compromised and she was actually fuming, not responding to me. She asked for my insurance card and my drivers license. It was comical to watch her trying to think of reasons why she wanted to deny me this booster vaccine. She told me to take a seat and stared at her computer screen for several minutes. She then says "Oh, did you bring your vaccine card?" I said "No, he told me yesterday to bring only my Drivers License and Insurance card". She snapped at me again "I need your vaccine card in order to give you the Booster". I told her the guy last night never told me to bring that card to the appt. So she says sarcastically "I apologize that he didn't tell you that". She then asks "What brand of vaccine did you get previously?" I said "Moderna". She said sarcastically smiled knowing that she just found a way out of doing her job, and not giving me a vaccine, telling me "OH, we only offer Pfizer and so only people that have had the Pfizer vaccine can get the Pfizer booster." It would have been gggrrreeeeaaatttt to have known the incompetent control freaks' rules prior to booking an appt. ******* Dear Little Clinic management, 1). Can you PLEASE hire NICE, competent people that care about customers and fire the psychotic control freaks that hate their jobs, and in turn, take it out on their customers? 2). If rude, incompetent, unhappy employees are the only people you can hire to work here, please put them on a strict performance plan so they know not to blindside customers and to stop the employee control freak behavior. 3). Got to the little clinic at 1:45pm, there is a sign that says they are at lunch from 1:30pm to 2:15pm. As I was filing out my registration at the computer at the front desk, the Dr comes out of one of the consultation rooms and tells me she is not taking any more patients for the rest of the day. I began to tell her I was almost done with my registration, she didn't care and turned me down. read more

Surprised to see so many negative reviews. My PCP is often booked out months in advance, so I have used this clinic several times for cold and flu treatment over the last two years. I have seen two different providers and both were professional and thorough in their examinations. I haven't had any insurance or billing issues either. The wait can be a little long, but if you call ahead they can tell you when they are slower on a given day. read more

Very unprofessional place. It is pointless to make an appointment because they will not honor it. When we arrived, there were no other families waiting to be seen, but a huge line formed behind us. While we waited to be seen, everyone behind us was then seen first and we waited for an hour. I ended up having to go up and ask what in the world was going on, the lady at the front was confused what we were there for and then rushed to get the doctor for us to be seen. Came in for a work physical and TB test. BOth cost $107, cheaper combined than CVS and Walgreens. So I decided to try them out. Physical is very simple stuff and tb is so routine to nurses, I knew everything would be ok. I don't have insurance so this I chose to come here. If I need anything else I would probably come back, the prices seem cheaper than competitors. read more

Thank you for the compassion and quick diagnosis! I'm traveling on business, out of state, and knew I had an infection. Stopped in to see if this place could help and it only took about 20 minutes and they took my insurance so it was just a co-pay. Bonus is the pharmacy was to the left...everything is in Fry's, so it only took an additional 10 minutes to get my prescriptions. Seriously, 30 minutes from start to finish. Incredible!! read more

Went there with my wife who had anxiety. We scheduled an appointment ahead of time and after a two hour wait they told us there was nothing they could do and that we would have to go to a REAL urgent care. Apparently they can't prescribe or do anything with narcotics which I wish they would have made that clear before I spent $90 dollars to be seen. When I asked for a refund because realistically all they told me to do was go to a REAL urgent care they told me it's policy they can't. I have a policy of not supporting places that are a rip off. Don't go here if you need real treatment. Real urgent cares also charge less for a co-pay. It's ridiculous a place like this can charge $90 dollars, literally not help us at all and then tell us to go somewhere else. Never coming here again. read more

We've been here a couple times in the past and the experience has been fine. We ALWAYS walk out with an antibiotic prescription which I think is unnecessary and could be dangerous. It doesn't matter if it's flu symptoms, cold symptoms - things that are typically viral...we always end up with an antibiotic prescription. Well, on Sunday I took my teenage daughter in. She'd been having high fevers, body aches, sore throat and a cough for over a week. I really just wanted a flu and strep test so we could see what we were dealing with. They did both tests and both came back negative but she was diagnosed with double ear infections - significant infections per the NP - we were told she had diminished breath sounds on her right lung as well as a UTI. The UTI diagnosis was strange - we were told that she had ascorbic acid in her urine and that was a sign of a UTI. I told them we had been doing high doses of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and that we pee out whatever vitamin C our bodies can't use so is it possible that's why she had ascorbic acid in her urine. I was told that No, ascorbic acid wouldn't show in urine. Ummm, ok? So, we were of course given an antibiotic prescription. I even explain to them that not only is she allergic to some antibiotics but we have a lot of antibiotic allergies in our family so we are only willing to consider antibiotics if we are absolutely certain it's bacterial. We still got an antibiotic prescription. The next day we immediately went to our own pediatrician. Our own pediatrician did a thorough exam, said her ears were completely clear, her oxygen was at 99% which is excellent and no diminished breath sounds in her lungs and said that she had absolutely no signs of a UTI. Said she's got a viral infection, treat the symptoms, support her through the virus and she'll recover with time and rest. No antibiotics needed. I suppose it's possible she had a miraculous recovery over the 24 hours between appointments but I doubt it. I just don't see how the clinic could get it so very wrong. read more

This does not reflect medical care. This is a review on the front desk procedure. When we checked in, it said 15 min., wait. It took much longer than that..(felt close to 30). Finally my daughter was put in a room. In the meantime another patient came in and registered. She was waiting too. Then another patient comes in, and asked about a flu shot. She was told it would be 30-45 mins. I listened as they ( receptionist and girl ) talked about options, waiting today, making an appointment for the next day etc. The young woman decided to wait until tomorrow, and left. Five minutes later, she's back... realized the next day won't work, she needs to get it today. Receptionist has her register on computer(the way we all did) and then had her sit in the waiting room. Long story short... my daughter waited in the patient room for a long time. In the meantime, the receptionist decides to put this girl ahead of us and the other patient to get her shot! I don't care if a shot is fast... it slowed the doctor from seeing my daughter.... this place is first come first serve, unless you have an appointment. This girl DID NOT! I heard the whole conversation! I called the receptionist out on it, and she tried to downplay it. Then I reminded her I heard the whole conversation! She gave me a weak smile and apologized. She doesn't know my day or my daughters... All she did is take into consideration this girl's story! Really MAD! We had LONG day too! Follow the rules, and don't try to lie about it. read more

I've always had good luck here whether for me it my kiddos. I do recommend going early in the day. One note: the pharmacy just a few steps away doesn't open until 10am so keep that in mind if you plan to use it. read more

I've seen this location for a few months when I shop every week at Fry's. It hasn't looked very busy. As I have had sinus pain and pressure for a few days I thought I'd try it. It was easy and quick! You first enter some general information online. They take your insurance and ID. They then took me to a waiting room where I waited less than 10 minutes to see the Nurse Practitioner Jacqueline. She was very nice and caring. Took a quick history. Did an exam. Then prescribed me something along with recommending a few over the counter solutions. The prescription is sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Great experience! read more

Not impressed! We're been waiting an hour and 45 minutes to be seen. I purposely came here instead of Urgent Care with the thought we'd be in and out quickly. The staff is courteous and the facility looks clean, but I can't say I would ever come here again with their wait times. Hire more people! The employee told me they 'are a very busy store' yet they don't have a second practitioner because they need to see 50-60 people, 'but wait, you just told me you have a very busy store'. Set your self apart from Walgreens and CVS and have two NP's on the weekend. read more

I finally caved and checked in to the Little Clinic after being sick for several days. I was seen promptly and felt like I was in my doctor's office. I got some great advice about cold medicine for people who have high blood pressure. Meds in hand, I went home and had my first good night's sleep in days! I had to return the next day for a new complaint but was told that she would just prescribe the meds and I would not have to pay another co-pay. Hallelujah!
