All of the time, money and effort to get to the studio to take a 90-minute class here was completely worth it! The studio is beautiful and spacious. The class that I took was at night, and the place was softly lit with mood lighting and candles everywhere. The room where we practiced had huge glass windows looking out onto a patio. And good thing we were near glass windows: At the end of class during savasana (the final resting pose), we got to see fireworks in the distance from some event going on nearby. Remember when I said my experience was magical? It was so magical that it ended with fireworks! There were plenty of props for everyone to use (I grabbed a block), there were pretty twinkle lights and crystals everywhere, and the people who worked here were super friendly and welcoming. I always say that yoga people are my people, and it's true. Even though it was my first time visiting ONE Yoga, I felt completely comfortable and welcomed the entire time. This is an inclusive space for everyone to practice yoga. They also have an area with fun things for sale: crystals, jewelry, essential oils, clothing, yoga mats and lots of other things. There was also a kitchen area, with chairs to sit and hang out, and complimentary water.

Clean floors, plentiful sunlight, fresh flowers abound! -The practice was challenging, but the instructor did a beautiful job making one of my new-to-yoga friends feel welcome and capable. -There was a lovely selection of crystals, candles, oils and jewelry. Much of it was out of my price-range, but I couldn't resist a few items. -After the class we were invited to enjoy some infused water and help ourselves to an assortment of nuts, chocolates and dried fruit. -First class is free! Just walking into the Sacred Dunes environment was enough to change my mood. Everyone was very caring, very calming, which was helpful for me as a newbie. After completing a medical form I was sent upstairs to a private room. Stephanie came in and went over what I was wanting to happen at this session. She is very calming and explained everything before she proceeded with the needles (which did not hurt). I was more relaxed but overall I did not notice a big change after the session. However, the next morning I woke up and did NOT have that awful sick feeling in my stomach from chemo. It was completely gone!! My stress level was way down and I had slept so much better. I have continued my treatment even though my chemo treatment has ended to help relieve my neuropathy in my hands and feet. I wish more cancer patients took advantage of this wonderful treatment.

I barely broke a sweat which is what I was looking for. If you want to have class with a wide range of folks and just want to meditate and stretch its good, again teachers good, but crowd no bueno... I now have been going to my WONDERFUL teacher Sherri D @ East Wind.... Very thankful to tried this place 1st so I know what I wanted.

She is an attentive and intuitive yoga teacher and she must have a million different poses and sequences in her head because her classes are never the same!! I always leave feeling better than when I came in, and my little individual areas of aches and pains always feel so much relief. She is friendly, unpretentious, and approachable. I can't imagine anyone feeling intimidated by her. If you've been thinking about starting a yoga practice, go see Katie... sooner than later!!!

They are more focused on selling "gear" and throwing birthday parties than they are in actually teaching students anything useful. Also, The O'Connors have made it clear that they refuse to close their doors during this COVID-10 pandemic, admit that they can't find the proper products to clean their facility at this time, and that money means more to them than public safety. When presented with evidence from medical professionals stating that a safe distance during this outbreak is 6 feet or more from other people, they refused to communicate further. Would definitely not do business with them.
