This is going to be a semi long review but trust us, it's worth the read. If there was a rating scale higher than 5 stars it would be 10+! We were planning our destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico and due to some last minute changes, we needed a photographer within 2 months of the event. We interviewed quite a few photographers and only one really stood out. Two Fourteen is run by an amazing couple (Virath and Krizelle) and they had an equally awesome second photographer with them (Esther). They offered us a great 10 hour coverage package which included up to 2 hours of non-wedding activities, versatility in flying out, an extra photographer, sneak peek photos within 2 days and so much more. If you want timeless, candid, light / airy, elegant, professional and crispy photos :), look no further. With their beautiful photography as well as their welcoming / fun personality, contagious smiles, and sheer enthusiasm, it made for an easy choice. We felt comfortable and confident as they created timelines, schedules, meetings and provided constant updates. They went above and beyond to accommodate and even got down on the dance floor after a couple of drinks ;). They are some of the most passionate people we have ever seen work: they glow with enthusiasm, are fun, personable and professional. Virath shines with his passion and love for photography, Krizelle is a gem who is clear and organized and Esther is fun, concise and meticulous. If you want "choreographed" photos... easy-peasy. If you want candid shots... it's covered. If you need flat lays or accents... done. If you have concerns on timelines, don't worry, they've already built in buffers. They excelled in every aspect and made sure to capture the magic for our very special day. Some specific details that we appreciated: 1. They were proactive and spent time introducing themselves to our vendors and coordinating with them ahead of the wedding. 2. Two Fourteen also does videography, so they knew how to work with the videographers, even giving them directions and suggestions. 3. Krizelle had an emergency pack on her that had Advil / Tylenol which came in handy as the bridal party had a migraine come on in the middle of the day. 4. While we were getting ready, any coordination that needed to happen with vendors, they handled it for us (e.g. reaching out to our wedding planners and flower vendors to ensure florals were brought over for detail photos). 5. They helped pose us for almost all of our photos, fixed our hair, fluffed dresses, got us drinks, and more. Something you don't realize is that your photographers are there with you for pretty much every moment of your day (more so than any other vendor - even your wedding planner). They're like your personal assistants and secondary wedding coordinators, not to mention your personal hype-men throughout the entire day. After planning a wedding for over a year, it was truly a pleasure and a weight off of our shoulders to have such a dedicated team instill confidence in our decision. Their focus was undeniable and we felt like we made friends in the process. We rarely write reviews but this one was definitely warranted. Don't think twice, pictures are forever! read more

Not only are they consummate professionals at the top of their game, they have the gift of making everyone they work with feel comfortable and at ease - particularly in front of the camera. They are the most hardworking and kind individuals in the room and beyond talented at capturing moments even through the chaos children and dogs can bring. Their work speaks for itself, but if I can I'd also like to humbly vouch for their incredible work ethic, nuanced understanding and talent for managing different group dynamics, keen ability to suss out and go above and beyond the needs of their clients, and just for being incredible human beings. Two Fourteen team is terrific! I had a maternity photoshoot with them and going to have my baby's first pictures taken by them as well. I have to say that I am very picky and a perfectionist. I've looked through about 20 local photographers and was lucky to find these guys. I love how natural, open and sincere their works look, without overphotoshopping etc. The process of taking the pictures was a lot of fun. My husband and I loved it. We had such a great time working with Krizelle and Virath at Two Fourteen Photography during our recent family photography session. We were a little nervous going into it as we had never taken professional family photos, but they put us right at ease. They made sure to get lots of different shots of all of us together and separate and we were blown away by the final images. Two Fourteen did my maternity photos and current family photos. I didn't hesitate to contact them because I knew I would get candid shots that I wanted with beautiful background. I love that they are accommodating to shoot locations as well as offer some location ideas for you to pick from. I love that they are so easy going and make the shooting relaxed and fun. My husband and I had a great maternity shoot with two fourteen photography! They were professional and very attentive to us. They knew great locations to take photos based on what my husband and I desired. They even gave us guidance when it came to choosing our outfits. The shoot went smooth. The Pums are awesome! My family had photos taken recently and we are so pleased with the great pictures. Two Fourteen Photography was phenomenal! I have admittedly high standards, and they exceeded all my expectations. I rarely write online reviews, but feel compelled to in this case because of the excellent job they did for us. To start with, we requested a photo shoot in an area that they hadn't shot before, so they drove out of their way the weekend prior to scout it out and find great locations to take our photos. We'd booked an hour photo session with our family (including 2 very young kids), and they ended up shooting for about 2 hours to make sure that we had plenty of images to choose from! They were incredibly patient with our kids, and really captured some cute moments. After our photo session they let us know that they would have the images ready for us to view in about 7-10 days (a reasonable timeframe), and they were ready in just days! To sum up, the Pums were professional, passionate about their work, reasonably priced, and just all around super nice and friendly people. I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

Virath and Krizelle are super nice and professional. They are a great duo couple. I especially loved the attention to detail that Krizelle keeps eye out for in the shots. She asks you to empty out your pockets before the start of the shoot so there's nothing bulging when taking pictures. She will also fix your hair or wipe your drooling infants mouth when she sees imperfection in the photos. They also get the poses right on to get those perfect shots. We did a family photo session and were extremely happy with all the pictures we got. They even allowed us to change into a 2nd outfit so we can get some Halloween/1st Birthday shots for my daughter's upcoming birthday party. We recently had a one-hour on location family photography session with The Pums. Once I contacted them to schedule our session, they got back to me in a timely manner, were friendly, and courteous. They wanted to know what ideas we had in mind for locations. We shared some ideas with them, and they scouted out a great location for our session (the harbor area in Long Beach). All pre-session communications went smoothly. They offered some advice on what to wear and wanted to know about our family (eg, kids ages). A day or so before the session, we asked if my husband and I could also get individual headshot-style shots as well as just us as a couple, too, and they were very accommodating with the request. They were on time to the session, and we got started right away. The location was great. There were lots of great spots for a variety of backdrops. They were very patient with our young kids, which is helpful. Krizelle also helped with the kids while my husband and I got our couple shots. They were patient, friendly, and offered direction on posing and set-up. After the shoot, they said our photos would be ready within a week, and they were ready within just a few days. We were pleased with the precious images we got of our family, and we'd definitely recommend them to others.
