Then she tried to put my old temporary crown on the tooth, it broke as well. Now I have to go through the whole thing again. I have to be back in two weeks again. I called to make an appointment for two days. Waiting on the phone for 35 minutes the first day and 45 minutes the second day I was finally able to make the same day appointment gave them all my insurance information and was told they take my insurance. Total unhappy with results. One month going weekly for Full dentures. Last week went for insert of full dentures and was very unhappy. Top and bottom dentures not aligned. When biting down bottom denture is not aligned with top denture, and is impossible to use. Had to go through the process of making a new bottom, and hoping that it solves the issue. One would think that in this time and age getting full dentures would be simple. I've had dentures for 25 years made by the veterans administration with no problems. Can't seem to grasp were Eastern Dental is failing to complete the process of full mouth dentures? Service could use improvement especially when checking clients insurance and the options available in todays market ie: full mouth dentures versus clip in inserts. This place is horrible!!! My husband had an abscess so they bring him in as emergency visit as he is in excruciating pain and send him home with amoxicillin and Tylenol with codiene which didn't help. They would not help him any further for comfort and was told just wait for antibiotic to kick in about 2 days! As we are waiting to hear back from them regarding insurance information he ended up with second abscess with swollen cheek, nausea, horrible pain, and I submitted a refill of antibiotic which he got but nothing for discomfort. My husband has a high tolerance for pain except for his mouth. I called emergency number last night asking them to call something in for him and refused and was told to take Motrin. What the hell is Motrin going to help with an abscess???? I pray infection doesn't spread to brain or spinal cord because it will be on them read more

Worst possible experience ever and very shady! Performed a sealant procedure on a minor without consent, then asked to have form signed after work was done. When procedure was declined, asked to sign a "quote" that was the consent form! Found out two months later that the declined procedure was done anyway and used "quote" as proof it was authorized! We've used this establishment for years and endured horrible wait times, poor scheduling (unable to schedule until 5 months after a cleaning, then there's at least a 2 month wait and forget about having to reschedule) and overlooked the inconveniences due to being in network and proximity to home. I am outraged! I paid $2500 for veneers for my daughters front teeth, so she could feel good about herself and finally smile. Within the first day there were problems. So far this is the 3rd day she has lost time from work because they fell off!! And because they have to file your teeth it leaves them exposed which is painful. I had an appointment for a cleaning. It was my first visit at Eastern Dental. Two (2) hours was my total time there. I've had root canals elsewhere that took less time! There is NO privacy. I learned that the elderly gentleman seated in the dental chair next to me has COPD and partial plates. The dental chair that I was seated in was terribly ripped up. Yuck. My first visit and I'm going to switch. If you're looking for a dentist, keep looking. *** STAY AWAY *** UNPROFESSIONAL *** I wish I could leave zero stars. I made an appointment as a new patient and waited two weeks to get in for a routine cleaning and check up. When I arrived at my appointed time the receptionist tells me she remembers making my appointment but the computer lost my information. The waiting room was full and it would be hours before I was seen. It was agreed I would reschedule. Their next available appointment was in three weeks. Since I was there I filled out all the required patient forms so they were on file. I understand things happen so I waited the three weeks. The day prior to my rescheduled appointment the receptionist states she cannot find my insurance information and asked if I can again give it to her. When I arrived I was put in a room. The tech came in and said she was going to take x-rays. Not only did she drop the mouth piece used for taking the x-rays, she dropped it again. With the x-rays completed the dentist comes in and introduces himself from behind, never making face contact. He proceeds to tell me he is going to take impressions for my dentures. I tell him he has me confused with someone else. He then proceeds to confront me stating it;s right here in your chart, dental impressions. Again I tell him he has the wrong patient and chart and explain the reason for my visit. You truly can't make this crap up. I have never in 61 years seen such an unprofessional, unorganized professional. There was no apology or explanation for the mix up, or the confusion. Now that I've had a chance to calm down from this morning's debacle there, I will write my negative review. Yesterday, I brought both my son and daughter to see the orthodontist who was really pleasant and on top of his game-so, all good there. He suggested my daughter have a baby tooth pulled that won't budge (or try really hard to work at it for a month or so first and if nothing, then pull it) and has the adult tooth growing in through her gum. We visited Eastern Dental for the first time ever in February because of this same issue as the tooth was starting to bother her. The dentist told her to try and work at it to see if she could get it out and then sent us back to the waiting room to wait for her cleaning. I never scheduled a cleaning for her, so I said we had to leave as I pulled her from school for this. Because of the fact she has already visited them for this issue, she decided she wanted the tooth pulled ASAP. The girl making those appointments told me either she could come in today at 9 am (miss some school) or May 22 (no school missed). At first I picked the MUCH later date (to my complete and utter annoyance) and we walked out. Then my daughter said to me she wanted her tooth pulled today instead at 9. School starts at 7:50 am and her first period is math so she remarked how she would be happy because she would not miss the majority of her math class. So, I went back into the office and scheduled her for the 9 am appointment. We got there this morning at about 8:55 am only to be told she missed her appointment because it was at 8 am. I repeated it was at 9 am. The front desk receptionist insisted again it was at 8 am and said she could reschedule me for 3/17 (why wasn't this an option yesterday?). My appointment was at 9 am NOT 8 am. Furthermore, why did no one call me then and ask me if I was bringing her in? In addition, I got to listen to the receptionist talk about all the complaining patients behind their backs yesterday. I can only imagine what she has already said about me, not that I care. The front office staff SUCKS, except for Carmen. I've already read several negative reviews about the receptionist and the Office Manager who hides behind her wall. They do not care about you here and the receptionist acts like you're an annoyance. Now I am stuck with this crappy place until my kids get their braces on and off.
