Amazing food, service, and ambience! This place is nice and clean and their food is amazing! We got the appetizer platter, tandoori platter (it came out sizzling!), and nihari and all of them tasted fantastic! I got the mango lassi as well and it was just perfect and not too sweet. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for desi, vegetarian, or Mediterranean cuisine - the menu is vast! Also, I learned from my in-laws who are locals in the area that this restaurant has been around for a while and perhaps wasn't doing too well in the beginning (hence some not so great reviews from a few years ago), but they seem to have revamped it and bounced back beautifully with great service and food. There's also even an attached banquet hall now that is a good size and quite nice with catering from the restaurant available for events. We ordered take out, it was called Mediterranean combo for 2 - $39.99 after tax, it was $47. Not sure how the math got there, but we didn't bother checking. It came in a big tray for the meat and rice. For the rice options, there is Arab style or biryani style, we opt for the biryani style. It also comes with hummus, Hobbs and lentil soup. I was hesitant to order just another Tikka masala, but this stood out above all others, and I've had Tikka masala all over the world. The place is good for the Indian Flavours, Ambience is good, clean and neat,seating area is well placed,overall well organized and nice decor.Food is a fusion of Indian and middle Eastern Flavours. So the name is !!!! The tandoori plate was good option.Naan bread was the best and butter chicken was not traditional and chicken kadai too, lot of cream taste. We ordered through just eat and it was a super quick delivery. We received everything that we ordered. Some dishes seemed a bit light, but its hard for me to tell because I have onlt eaten their buffet before. Overall the food is delicious. My only food issue was the aloo baingan which is described as an eggplant dish and its really a potato dish. There are barely any eggplants in it. My other complaint is that the containers used are all styrofoam. Windsor doesnt recycle stryfoam takes 500 years to decompose!!! Come on Easteen Flavours, take some responsibility for our environment. Its completely ignorant and inexcusable to use styrofoam with the knowledge available at our finger tips these days. Good ambience - decent food. Well presented and fair bit of options with the Menu. Service was good. Coming to the food, we started with the appetizer platter which was interesting- couple of the items were dry instead of being moist and tender. Well presented though! We then had Lamb Biryani which was very good. Chicken tikka masala, Daal Gosht (Lamb) curry was all good along with Garlic Naan and plain Naan - curry comes along with a choice of Rice or Naan. Much acclaimed butter chicken was not that great.. funny colour and not as creamy as it should be. Tandoori chicken sizzler was a disappointment- the chicken was not well marinated and the flavour did not go deep enough. PLEASE TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE! The customer service and the way they speak to their customers is absolutely appalling. They have no respect for their customers. They will get aggressive, yell, and speak over you and not allow you to get in a word. I ordered several items from this restaurant using SkipTheDishes and one of the items was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know that an item is missing, and before I could even finish my sentence, the woman I was speaking to, I believe her name is Mina, cut me off and started saying everything was packed and our delivery driver must have stolen that one item. So I asked how many bags I should have received, and she said two. I did receive two bags and let her know this, and she said the driver must have opened one of the bags to take one of the items. She insisted that before an order goes out, it gets checked three times. That is clearly a lie otherwise in one of those "three" checks, they would have noticed an item is completely missing. Then she puts me on hold and gets the manager. The manager essentially asked me what the problem was, and he also would not let me complete a sentence before cutting me off. He also insisted that all of the food was packed and if I didn't receive one of the items, the driver must have opened up the bag and stolen the food. What a ridiculous lie/excuse. The bags were tied so tight, I had to use scissors to cut them open. I have order from this place times before and the bags are always tightly secured so it is apparent they are not accepting responsibility for forgetting an item and are giving a laughable excuse that the delivery driver stole our food. We have had items missing from this place before, and I understand that mistakes happen so I did not mind. This is the second time they have forgotten an item and I had some guests over and this was supposed to be their food. read more

Good dinner. Tried the Kahri Pakora with rice and it was pretty authentic and traditional to what I have had in India and comparable to my mom's cooking. Decent spice level. The other guest had butter chicken and it was moist, tender and the sauce is described as creamy and flavourful. I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that this is not a Michelin starred restaurant, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat. Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. Where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated, when finally a blonde waitress said hi to us, , in a very unprofessional manner and the table was not ready despite the reservation. The mark of a good restaurant is not necessarily its size, but the quality of its food and the generosity of its staff. Along that line, some of the finest dining experiences I've had throughout my career have been in the small diners and dives and Michelin starred restaurant scattered throughout. Overrated. I tried this place out and was truly disappointed. We ordered seekh kebabs, chicken biryani and haleem. The haleem was watery and doesn't have a lot of flavour, also it was not served hot. The chicken biryani was passable but it was quite greasy. We asked for a spicy biryani but the server gave me a mild one. The seekh kebabs were expensive and the serving portions were small. The naan bread was not fresh. Manager is not friendly/welcoming. Service was awfully slow. Servers are confused with orders and were not very well organized. The men's washroom was dirty. This was my first visit and it definitely wont be my last. I loved the pakoora and beef shwarma so much I decided to bring some food home for my family. After consulting with my excellent and helpful waitress I bought an order of butter chicken and a desi platter to bring home for everyone to try and it was a hit. Even my picky dad tried some and he never tries any ethnic foods I bring home but after smelling it the whole ride home he made himself a plate. (he gave the raita and the butter chicken his thumbs up) Pricewise I thought it was completely reasonable for the large quantity of delicious food we received. I had a coupon so thought we would give it a try. Awesome!!! Had the mixed grill. A lot of food for the money. Started with hummus and it was some of the best I have had. Went back to give this place another chance, after owners insisted they have improved since openning. Food is still very expensive, portions extremely small (desi menu). One of the best kept secrets in Windsor. Pakistani, Indian and Arabic food all under one roof. Tastefully done decor. Excellent service and completely fresh and flavorful dishes. The team over at Eastern flavours are tremendous at what they do. They catered a very large wedding party of 300 plus people and the food was enjoyed. The chef worked with us to make the food selection and was in contact with us till the last day to cater our event in the best possible way. The food tasted amazing and the guests throughly enjoyed it. It arrived on time and everything went according to plan. I bought their lahori fish for $16.95 ...fine...whatever...charge me an arm and a limb but at least let it be worth it!....opened it up to find 3 small pieces of what seemed like the thinnest slices of fish you've ever seen in your life, drowned in besan (gram flour) coating .... we separated the fish from the coating and it was 90% gram flour coating and mild hints of fish inside!! For God's sake...pakoras have less besan than that fish...and they are made of pure besan!!! read more
