This is still a worth try Chicken shawarma - 4.5 stars. This looks like regulars favorite but mixed was better Garlic potatoes - 3 stars. Too garlicky however that's not their fault. I didn't realize that's what it was. Fries - 4 stars Lentil soup - 3 stars. Decent however very diluted Drinks are Pepsi products Service was a bit pushy on not correcting after me repeating a few times on what upsell I had chosen. Overall experience wasn't bad though. I had it for the first time yesterday as take out and it had to be one of the best meals I've had and I have pretty high standards for Mediterranean food. This USED to be the spot ! Not sure if the employees are lacking care, the management has changed .. but it has gone down hill. I would once regard as 5+ stars is not longer close to 1 star. The nicest freaking customer service - very kind and pleasant guys. Great selection and variety. Sell their own and plus a few staples in case you're ever not sure of what to get or want variety. A+ taste, very clean and appetizing place. Ice cream shop inside for desert if you're interested too. Once had a small mixup with an order that was our fault and they were happy to correct it. Right along the main strip going through to main Windsor, and right beside the McDonalds - if you're passing through i'd suggest this place for something just a bit healthier. :) read more

Okay so although this isn't the greatest shawarma place around but I have to give it 4 stars for two main reasons, firstly the serving staff is always very pleasant and warm. Secondly, it's the only shawarma place in South Windsor which is wwwaaaayyyyy over do. It's nice not to have to go downtown or to the east end for some delicious and quick shawarma. This place is a little different to most shawarma places in Windsor as it has a huge seating area, which is usually at least half filled. They have some different options too, something they call "a shake" which is basically shawarma stuff in a bowl, nice option if you don't want a wrap. They also have your other basics like hummus, dolma (stuffed grape leaves) rice with tika and what not. I usual always get the falafel wrap with everything. The ingredients are great (I love the pickled beets) and the garlic sauce is on point... Sssooo ggooodddd. The falafel its self isn't bad, not the best but I'm finding more and more that it's quite hard to find very very good falafel. They also have laben (Arabic yogurt drink) which can sometimes be hard to find. You should definetly check this place out if you live in South windsor or if you're just in the area. read more

It's next to a Walmart plaza so I thought can't be too bad. Good shawarma selection. I had the mixed plate. For $11 I was full and I had lots of flavour. Tonight's order included chicken / beef shawarma plate with rice, includes fattoush salad and the garlic sauce & pita. Then, ordered a falafel to see how they are, side of hummus with turnips & pita. Thoughts: Beef was good! Chicken, good, little dry/bland I like the juicier chicken. Garlic sauce, they don't mess around, it's as good as the other top notch places in town. Hummus, good, not dry, not runny- perfect. The rice... Is kept warm in a warmer (not heated in styrofoam... Nice) also good, pairs well with garlic always ;) Falaffal was made fresh to order, not sure if that's the norm or just my luck... But so good! The shawarma plate... Is $10 good deal, comparable to everyone else. The only thing I didn't care for was the tiny amount of salad you get. (just fits the small corner of a takeout) they load it up with way to much rice... And then give you a tiny tiny bit of fatuously salad. Again. I get cost saving, but lettuce? Really? Omfg! Ordered 2 chicken shawarmas with everything. A friend recommended Hamoudis and I think I owe him a dinner now! Absolutely everything was delicious. Ive never even liked pickled turnips before but theirs were perfect. I was so full from the 1st shawarma and rice that I only managed 2 bites of my fattoush salad but it was really good too. My leftover shawarma is going to be a great lunch tomorrow, unless someone else finds where I hid it in the fridge! The prices are reasonable too, although the delivery charge was a bit steep because they use a separate delivery company. All in all though worth every penny and I will be ordering again. read more

The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. There's nothing on their menu that I've tried and haven't loved. The service on the other hand is a shame. The whole "line" is a disorganized mess. Food takes FOREVER because of it. This is not a quick shawarma stop. I once waited over an hour in line during covid but there was only like 6 people in line in front of me. I used to really like this place. We recently went in and ordered kafta plate and mixed plate. They said it would take 12 minutes. It took 20 minutes, at least. We saw them take the skewers out from the freezer to cook on the grill. They came out burnt, yet still cold; a combination that is pretty hard to attain unless you're really bad. The rest of our meal was also cold: the fries, the rice. Pita was stale. What an expensive $30 let down. We won't return. read more

I go to Hamoudi's shawarma exclusively for the falafel. They are the only restaurant in Windsor that I know of, which serves freshly made to order falafel. The falafel mix they use is the most authentic. Other than that, I'm not big fan of their shawarma. One reviewer mentioned that Shawarma Palace has the best shawarma in town! I highly disagree. El Mayor has the best (beef) shawarma in town. But no shawarma place in Windsor can reach the shawarma in Dearborn, like Al Ameer, Hameedo, and Tuhama's read more

Went today passing through Windsor. Great service, nice clean location! Had a fairly standard issue chicken shawarma. All around, really fresh toppings, and absolutely cheap! Less than five bucks for a sandwich! Slight downside, it was a touch dry (thus, no 5 stars). Great flavor though! This place sells below average food with bad customer service. The attitude of employee is bad. They burned my Sheek-ta-wook. In addition bad smell was coming from the food. The employee who took my order (he has a mustache) appeared to be upset on something. We ordered the 90 dollar party platter for our smallish new years gathering we had and were very very pleased with the service and quality and quantity! I would highly recommend this place for large orders for family gatherings! Food was fresh and delicious, it came with lots of rice, hummus, meat fatoush, tahini and garlic sauce. The order was ready on time to pick up. We ordered a few extra chicken tawook skewers to add to the platter which were affordable only 3.50 each! We usually order from El Mayor but decided to try this place based on the fact that it seemed you get more in it order for the price. We weren't disappointed, I would order from here again any time.
