My story is a bit different in that I decided not to pursue tinting for my home. Regrettably, I had gotten a quote from a different tinting company, which included the application of a sample tint to one of my windows. When I decided that I preferred no tinting, the unnamed company wanted to charge me $350 to remove their sample! I reached out to Rick at Eastern Glass Tinting and offered to pay them this amount to remove the sample tint, just so I wouldn't have to deal with the other company. Rick was so appalled by their lack of professionalism that he did it for free. That's right - in his spare time he came to our home and removed the other company's tint, at no charge, just because that's how you do good business. Thank you. Just brought my second vehicle, a 2013 Jeep Cherokee, to get the front windows tinted. What can I say, another great tint job! You have to call and book an appointment, you can't just show up. But I was in the area so I stopped by then called. Within 25 minutes he showed up, brought my car in, and within about 10 more minutes my tint job was done. I only needed my front windows done but he matched them PERFECTLY with the other windows. It looks like it came factory direct. Ok, so the owner doesn't have the beat communication skills on the phone but he does work hard and quickly. His prices are fair, although you have to pay in cash. Where other places were quoting me 500, he quoted me 180. When I showed up, he said the job was harder than I described ( what do I know?) but he would keep the price he originally quoted. This was such an amazing window tinting experience! The owner is such a chill guy, total sweetheart and very nice. I called at 810 in the morning on a Tuesday, and he told me to come right over and got me in and out promptly. It was extremely competitively priced -better than anything else in the area and I did research. I live I Philly and am just visiting here in Boston so he told me about the difference between what is legal and helped me pick what level of tint would be best. I called them to schedule an appointment and whoever came on the line "barked" at me like a rabid dog. I tried to keep my calm and asked him if he had any open slots and his reply was "This is all I got. Take it or leave it". Well ok - maybe he was having a bad day. So i try and ask him about any other open times and his reply is "next week sometime. Call me and I will let you know" . . . . 3rd times a charm! I have had 4 cars done by Rick at Eastern Glass. All of them were professionally done and I never had any bubbles or peeling tint. He also gets the tint very close to the edge of the window so you are not left with that embarrassing untinted stripe at the top of your windows. He is a one man operation so when you call you are on speakerphone so doesn't have to stop working. I have sent other people there and all were very happy. read more

Just drove away from Eastern Glass half an hour ago, and the first thing I'm doing is writing this review. If I could give 6 stars I would. I called Friday morning, and got an appointment first thing Saturday, and when I got there, he was right to work. It's true, there are no frills, but I'm paying for amazing looking tint, not a plush waiting area, there's a dunkin right across the street for that! 45 minutes, $210 for 7 windows and I am a very happy, very pleased customer.
