We're highly satisfied with their service both propane and also customer orientation. The automatic delivery system frees us from having to constantly check on our propane - even though I am cognizant of the level just because I'm obsessed with preparedness and I start calling when the level goes below 40% (the same propane tank powers the standby whole-house generator so a good supply is necessary). I gather they've got used to my consternation and the tank seldom goes below 50% before I have a tanker pulling to the house. Rymes offers convenient payment plans, whether market rate, fixed rate, graduated, etc. Some are clear winners if the price remains stable or decreases, some grant peace of mind against fluctuating prices during the Winter. Something for everyone. We most recently purchased a new water heater as replacement for our old one. Dealing with Jeff in the pricing, purchase and installation has been a pleasure. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I've decided to remain with Cota & Cota at this time. Up until a few weeks ago my experience - both with the office and technicians - had been good, so I'm willing to give them another shot. First review: After 10 years of having Cota & Cota as my oil/propane provider, I cancelled my account with them and will be taking my business elsewhere. I had a maddeningly, frustrating call with one of their service desk staff (who I will not publicly name) who interrupted, spoke over me, and mansplained. When I called this gentleman out for his behavior, he 'let' me speak. When I finished speaking, he then said "Can I talk now?" To the leadership of Cota, I strongly urge you to have your staff complete customer service training. Or maybe remind them on the do's/don'ts of speaking with customers. Here, I'll help: 1. The tenants had to move into a hotel while I desperately searched for someone to replace the furnace. I use Cota at our ludlow home and called the WRJ location to see if they could help. They were out within an hour and fixed the furnace. Needless to say, I switched over to Cota Oil to handle all my homes. Can't say enough good things. It's rare to find exceptional service. Thank you so so much. Ps. Our ludlow house also had heat problems and Cota was out 11pm at night to fix that issue as well. I've been using Cota and Cota for about three years and they have saved me on a number of occasions: frozen pipes, burst toilet seal, etc.

Had Bubs out to fix two small leaks and prime our well pump. My mistake was letting them start…read morewithout asking for their rate or an estimate. Getting water running again was our priority but he suggested starting on the leaks. Not long after beginning, Bub's father told me they couldn't attach their fitting to the well line because water was coming through; realizing my well line is gravity-fed after beginning. I had to pull the well line above the water level myself before they could install a shut-off valve. My well cover is about 300lbs and the line is 8ft down. I'm not sure what their plan would've been if I was not there. After saying the water was flowing again, they later told me my pump was done for and not to run it. They quoted $925 for a new pump, not including labor. With two hours of labor, the bill also came to $925 and my family was no closer to having running water. The materials installed were six feet of copper pipe, several compression fittings, a shut off valve, and a pipe hanger. I called another plumber afterward, who knew right away (just from a phone call) that my pump was fine. He had it running smoothly in minutes by clearing a port of sediment and then adjusting the pressure switch. Bub talked a lot about his experience and showed up with help but needed me to find a way to stop the water in order to address the first leak and then either missed or ignored the step that would've gotten my pump working. Their website claims they're transparent and budget-friendly, but I wasn't told his extreme rate upfront, the bill wasn't itemized (still waiting 9 days after he confirmed he would), and I nearly paid for an unnecessary pump replacement. Leaving 2 stars because the copper work itself was solid, but charging $250 per hour for six feet of easily accessible pipe work feels unreasonable. Being given the wrong diagnosis on the pump was unacceptable and raises concerns about their expertise or honesty.

If you choose to do your own, there are a variety of sizes of machines available, and they use a prepaid card system rather than coins. Bring some bills, insert them in the machine and you get a card which you then swipe in the washer and try to start the machines. Betty keeps the place clean, and she's vigilant to make sure the machines are in good working condition. The Bucket of Suds is open every day from 5am thru 11pm, and the doors lock automatically at that point.
