I downloaded this app just to leave a review. I been to eastridge a bunch of times, usually shopping or just running errands for special occasions. I just noticed this place and I decided to check it out I went inside and started looking around while I was looking around the staff member came up to me and asked if I was in need of assistance she was helping me through out looking for choices and she was a overall a really helpful person. I think her name was Nohemy, not really sure what i heard but overall she was a very helpful lady , I think this place has gotten a customer for life. Thank You for this experience read more

Eastridge Mall has always been good, walkable, and less noisy, which helps me recover from my ailments. I like to shop at stores like Q, Macy's, JCPenney, etc., play games at the arcade, and eat at the food court, Red Robin, or Tomi Buffet. read more

The Eastridge mall is located in the Evergreen district of East San Jose. It offers an AMC movie theatre, department stores and restaurants. They have parking all around the outer area of the mall. We were there on Sunday, having lunch at the Red Robin. After lunch we decided to walk around the mall. It's a nice size mall. They have a Macy's department store, a nice sized Daiso store, a very small Miniso, and many other stores. I expected the mall to be full of people but it was quite the opposite. There was barely anyone there. It's was a hot day outside and most people like to come to the mall and cool off. I think the mall was empty because they did not have the Air Conditioner running at all. It's so hot in there. How do you expect people to come and shop if it's hot inside? It was in the 90's outside and shopping here was just uncomfortable. I wanted to get a cold iced tea from Starbucks. We walk the that counter and they were closed. How disappointing. The only good things we experienced was the Daiso and the Mini Cat Town Ceter. I will probably never come back here again. There are way too many other malls in the South Bay that have excellent cooling systems. read more

I did a quick stop because I hadn't been here for so very long;. It looks about the same but somehow less happy than it used to be. At least, they have places to play games still, and Macy's is still there. I used to go mainly for Zumiez and Daiso. Now, that they have an IMAX cinema, I should visit that. I generally park near the entrance with Quickly, near Fresco Supermarket. Parking near Macy's got to be a problem with people not paying attention. I didn't see a Burlington, so they must be okay for now. read more

We only go because of the AMC Theater there and rarely (maybe once a year) the Round 1 for games. Parking can be tough sometimes, just park farther away and walk. Their food court really needs an update. Just fast food and chains pretty much. They finally fixed the automatic doors by the food court entrance! read more

You know, Eastridge doesn't get as much love like the other shopping centers around the South bay. I love watching a movie at AMC Eastridge and getting my fix of never-ending pasta at Olive Garden LOL. I also love the fact that you don't have to pay for a parking and there's always a parking spot available close by. Some of my favorite stores inside Eastridge include Daiso, H&M, Macy's, Round 1 and a few others. One of the highlights is all the beautiful murals around the mall. You can find one of the most stunning murals right next to JCPenney which is one of my favorites that includes the skyline of Downtown San Jose and also the East Foothills. If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out because it is stunning! I have been going to Eastridge since I was a little kid and I have seen it evolve decade after decade. Ultimately, the VTA Light Rail will have a stop at Eastridge and will connect to Bart and other South Bay attractions along the way. That will be very exciting in a few years. That is, the Many Shoppings, Dinings, and All of your Entertainment Experiences!!! Some of my Favorite Stores here includes Macy, JC Penny, Hot Topic, Hollister, Austin5, Allure Accents, Victoria Secret, Guess, Bath&Body Works, Vans, Windsor, and so many more others!! Bowling and Amusement, Legend Comics and Games, AMC Theatres, and a Huge Food Court Center are among some of the largest Crowds attractions, bringing all sort of people together here at this Eastridge Mall. We came again for Tomi Sushi for dinner time so basically most of the stores were closing or getting to closing time. But it felt a bit deserted like a lot of other malls in the Bay Area. It's a bit sad to be honest to see malls kind of disappearing. I remember so many fun times at the mall growing up with friends and family. But I'm glad it's still around and there are shops that folks can go in person to shop. There were a variety of shops, but we ended up going to Macy's to check for a specific item as well as JC Penney's. Both felt so old. Not my local mall but I'm glad folks have a mall option here in the area. read more

I remember as a kid, growing up in San Jose when Eastridge Mall first got built in 1971. It used to have a fountain in the middle with boulders and rocks, etc. It had 2 levels, as opposed to Oakridge Mall. Now, Eastridge has definitely changed and remodeled over the years. Long gone are the big stallwarts like Sears and Liberty House, later Emporium-Capwell. But hanging on are Macy's and JC Penney's. AMC Theaters is still here and the food court. read more

I was in town, took my mom here for a walk. It did not disappoint. We both got our steps in. My mom end up finding a dress she liked at JC Penny. We didn't find anything at Macys. Overall, a great way to get our steps in by walking around the mall. read more

I have been coming here all my life! Actually, I worked here 24 years. The mall offers lots of family entertainment year round with the AMC movie theater and Round One Bowling. They also have lots of cultural festivities like for Chinese New Year that are free to attend. Also lots of restaurants like Jersey Joe's, Red Robbin, Olive Garden, Chili's and a good size food court. Plenty of parking is a big plus! read more

In comparison to the good ol' Puente Hills Mall in SoCal, Eastridge is REALLY GOOD! It's an older mall, but you can see the efforts being put in to revitalize this mall. Their social media shows that they're holding lots of local and community events here, even anime/cosplay gatherings (the cherry blossom tree in the middle is great for photo ops). There's plenty of parking and a more alive food court than the Newpark mall. I love the cute dessert/ice cream place, MoMaCaDo and they have their own solid Round 1 here along with a fairly large Daiso and Mini Cat Town to see some kitties. I like that the food court also has seating where you can charge your phone too! There's a Forever 21, H&M, AMC Theaters, and even a US Post Office if you need to get things done. Solid local mall in my opinion. read more

This review is mainly for the Pokémon "pokestop" vending machine near the upstairs food court . Location : I was pleasantly surprised by the new design and upgraded food courtyard here at Eastridge mall . I was also super excited to still see Great khans Mongolia bbq standing strong + survive the 2020 pandemic ! Okay now the very popular vending machine: it's posted near the food court it's tucked in a corner but still able to see it even if you go down the escalator by accident. Value - it's very fair pricing no scalping happening here. read more

Really would love to see malls make a comeback. It's great to see Eastridge add fun places like Aloha Fun Center and Round1, as well as having an expansive food court. Also good to see Jersey Joe's cheesesteaks here, a local fast casual place with yummy food. There are a decent number of independent/random establishments but it's better than an empty storefront. read more

Hello, I'd like to report that several bathroom sinks are currently not functioning and require maintenance. This creates inconvenience for visitors and should be addressed promptly. Additionally, providing free public Wi-Fi is essential in today's environment. Without it, many people--especially students, families, and remote workers--will choose to go elsewhere. If this mall wants to attract more foot traffic and help businesses thrive, offering free Wi-Fi access is a must. Otherwise, there's a real risk that visitor numbers will continue to decline, and shops may start closing. read more

I haven't been to this mall for a few years, but this shopping center hasn't really change ever since. I like the ambiance of the mall, but I feel like that they should renovate it since it's 2023 already. The food court had good selections especially McDonalds since other malls I usually go to don't have it. I feel like they need to add more seatings and I don't understand why there are some tables and chairs that are short in height. Are they designated for children? What I like about this mall is that they have entertainments like Round1 and AMC Theaters. Both are attractive to mall goers since there are much things to do there. There are quite good selections of stores and other places here. It's November already and I'm assuming that they recently added Christmas decorations. It's good that there is Starbucks at the center of this place. Overall, this is a decent mall to go to, but I feel like that they need to modernize it. read more

The toyland shop owner was extremely rude. She specifically said "you're not supposed to open that, you guys are old enough to read," and other mean stuff in an extremely backhanded tone. Today 5/14/26 at about 6:30. I didn't see the sign and it was a mere accident but she was extremely rude about it. Fire her. The toy store also sells a bunch of fake over priced stuff. read more

I grew up coming to Eastridge. Shopped at 5-7-9 took family photos at Sears and ate at the food court when it was over by the elevators. So for, at the minimum, 30+ years. Stop trying to figure out how old I am, nosy! Anyway, came yesterday to watch Bad Boys 4 at AMC. Walked in and it was warm. Thought it was maybe my body just had not adjusted from how hot it was outside. So gave it like 15 minutes. Then my son mentioned it when we were ordering at their mini food court. Let's call it what it is. You get like 6 options. Son chose Subway. Husband and I chose the Japanese place. Them noods were G-R-E-A-S-Y! Also, the amount of dogs off leash roaming around was weird. I'm all for bringing your pet but my son and I played a game and bet which dog would pee on the fake grass that was added to the seating areas. Sure enough one did. If you guys don't turn on that ac its gonna smell line a kennel real fast in there. Did I mention someone brought their dog to the movie we were watching and she sat down in the handicap seats near the entrance and the dog would charge and bark at people as they came in. A lot of the places were open but there was not many people here walking around. I understand it's a weekday mid day and people are at work. They do also have a US Post office inside the mall which is usually busy and usually had a line. The outside on the 1 side of the mall has a 24 hour fitness and a roller skating rink. Also the transit center is right here too for local transit access. read more

Eastridge - Shopping Centers Near Me - San Jose, California

It may not be the most modern or inviting shopping environment in the South Bay, but it's improved over the years and looks like it's on its way up. Some of the more unique offerings here are Mini Cat Town, BEAT Airsoft, and the Aloha Roller Rink, and I guess Round1 (if you're a teenager or looking for G-rated entertainment). I also like that they have massage services amongst the businesses (Massage Journey). Fun or quirky gift shops include Legends (which has puzzles, board games, manga, and all things nerdy), Daiso Japan for cheaper household or gift merchandise, and Hot Topic. That being said, I checked out Hot Topic and Victoria's Secret during my recent visit to the mall, and it seems the stores here are lacking... they have very few unique or noteworthy items available and are not comparable to other locations of these chains. I did however come across Sock Harbor, and loved it. This sock shop seems to have more hilarious products and more variety than the best novelty sock shops I know of in SF and the bay area (ie. lots of music-related designs, and an entire section for Bigfoot-themed socks). Of course, I walked away with a few pairs. The worker informed me that it's a seasonal pop up store, which will be closing its Eastridge shop in January or February. I like that they have different kinds of businesses here, which is the whole point of a mall, to take care of all of your shopping needs in one place, ie. retail shops, furniture store, post office, and movie theater (though the AMC Theatre here is not the best, auditoriums missing those comfy recliners that most other theaters have updated). Also, on the downside, there are too many jewelry businesses (sales/repair), and the food court offerings are minimal and not very appealing, none of the newer/trendy eateries you find at other malls. The Surf City Squeeze "coming soon" sign on the second level near Center Court is worth noting. That's my favorite smoothie chain, so if it's really making a comeback here at Eastridge, I'm super psyched! All things considered, this shopping center is about average. But I appreciate that the mall doesn't feel dirty or unsafe, and it does have a few quality retail shops that are not too high-end. Also, occasionally they hold unique events here, ie. the cool SJ SaXmas performance I got to experience this past weekend. Like I said, this place is on its way up. Only time will tell. read more

We stopped by for the craft fair in their parking lot. Dropped in to check out the mall. The mall is dated and needs an upgrade. There is a tired looking Macys and JCP is somewhere in there too. Not much to look at in terms of the smaller stores. They do have the first ever roller skate rink I've seen in a long time. I'd come here just for the roller skate rink. read more

Based on the mall's location, people tend to steer clear from shopping here. Honestly folks, it isn't as bad as people make it out to be. The mall has an AMC and even a Daiso for those looking for a good deal. Yes, it doesn't have your Nordstrom, or an Apple Store, but it does have a Macy's & JCPenney! I know, those stores don't compare to a Nordstrom, or even a Nordstrom Rack, but if you need a dress shirt, tie, skirt, shoes, basketball shoes, or a last minute gift, this mall will suffice. Their food court doesn't compare to Valley Fair's, but it's decent. Does Oakridge or Valley Fair have a 24 Hour Fitness or a bowling alley/arcade? Nope! I rest my case! Side note: Parking is pretty bad on the 24 Hour Fitness side of the mall. Conclusion: Don't judge this mall by it's outer appearance and location. You may just find what you've been shopping for :) read more

At Eastridge Mall on a family outing and sjDANCEco was having a dance performance with interpretive dancing. It was cool to watch and grandkids enjoyed it very much. Got some yogurt, sat on the bridge and watched the performances. As we walked away my granddaughter did her own interpretive dance, lol. I recommend NOT working with Katelyn Studebaker (Marketing Director) with Eastridge Mall. In Dec., I reached out to her since the previous Director Ben had moved out of State. After emailing her regarding interest in re-establishing our standee billboards within the mall for the Holidays, she responded with extremely higher rates than our previous contract. I asked to speak with her as opposed to emailing in hopes of her honoring our original rate and that is when the following conversation ensued: First off, her professionalism lacked immensely. My original contract was $2550 for THREE months ($850 a mon.) all THROUGHOUT the mall, she stated $2500 for ONE month in a particular location within the mall & $5000 for ONE month in the food court. Katelyn proceeded to state that 1, the holidays obviously offer more foot traffic in the mall, hence, the increase in rate for December (Understandable). 2nd, since COVID has lifted- the traffic within the mall requires a premium rate for all business owners looking to market within at no exception. (OK.)3rd, $850 for the month of December, Quote, 'It just isn't worth my time for $850'. She also said, I need to factor in the additional cost of the standee bill board production. My response: 1, How does Dec. '22 differ from Dec. '21 in foot traffic that the rate you're telling me for one month was the cost of three months for me at one point? My original contract was for Dec. 1st, I actually requested an extension due to being 9 months pregnant with 2 toddler children, actively running classes, my business & in the process of going back and forth with Cal Printing on designs for the Standees. Eventually, we placed the billboards in the mall by Dec. 21st as opposed to the 1st & 10th. Without ever so much as an increase in rate, regardless of the month or extension requests. Is there any way you can work with us? 2nd. In regard to COVID 19. As a GYM, we were the absolute last on the totem poll to have the county lift its lockdown on operating our business. So, if we paid for marketing within Eastridge Mall Dec. '21 with Covid lockdowns being lifted, how is today any different? 3rd. I'm sorry $850 isn't worth your time, however, as a small business owner- $850 is ALOT of money to us. And I thought it extremely unprofessional she had the audacity to tell me so. I also informed her I paid, custom designed and owned my standee billboards & would like them back. She then proceeded to interrupt me & loudly reiterate that 'My standee billboards have been confiscated as soon as the contract term was up & that we are not interested in doing business with you.' I asked to speak with her manager, she responded that there were only 2 others in the marketing dept- her being the highest level of authority and others being BELOW her.' (Her own words). Then, she hung up on me. I CAN understand if you're not willing to negotiate the costs. What I CANNOT understand nor will accept, is the way I was treated, how I was hung up on & how Eastridge Mall can take $2550 from me in a span of 3 months and as soon as my contract term ended, just dispose of my billboards that I OWNED and paid $787.50 for, (not including costs I paid for a professional photographer) without so much as an email, call, or notice with a chance to claim our property back. This week, Hills Training was unable to physically be apart of a Toy Drive for youth in Santa Clara due to the time conflicting with our business hours, so I was asked specifically-if we can bring our Standee Billboards from Eastridge Mall to place at the Toy Drive at A1Tires& Wheels. Imagine my frustration at having to reiterate that Eastridge had confiscated my property without notice? DO BETTER. I have never, in my era of owning a small business-ever, treated a customer that walked through my doors the way I was treated by Katelyn Studebaker. ESPECIALLY, in an attempt at being a returning customer. The general manager D.R. is the reason for this 1 star review (otherwise it would be 3*). Our movie was cancelled after 45 minutes of no communication, for which 20 minutes of the time the audience was sitting in the dark. I had come out to talk the manager and he told me that the movie was being cancelled because they were dealing with a faulty projector, and I criticized him for the lack of communication during the entire process (no announcement). I told him he should tell the audience to which he replied he had sent someone and I would have heard it if I continued to wait in the dark :facepalm: Getting the refund was a hassle, especially as he initially said I could not have a refund for my doubleshot of a gin drink (which I barely touched), even though I pointed that I would not be drinking it as I would have to drive and would not have ordered it. After arguing with him, I finally got a gift card (apparently he couldn't provide a refund on Apple Pay without the physical card) at which point he "forgot" to give me the 2 complementary tickets. When my wife went to get them, he proceeded to criticize me to my wife, which was also completely unprofessional. I was definitely annoyed with the lack of communication, criticism that I should wait for communication after sitting for a prolonged period in the dark, getting a refund for my drink order, and then of course criticizing me to my wife (I'm assuming to create discord in our relationship), I think he is fairly unable to show leadership or be in the role he is in. Also, he lied to us on video when I confronted him about what he said to my wife. Feedback would be that if you have a faulty projector let the audience know early because every person's time should be respected. read more

I haven't visited this mall in years. I still like the ambiance here even though some people may complain about the need of its modernization. The food court offers a great variety. They have Goong Cha (used to be my go-to milk tea shop). I wish they have more milk tea brands to choose over here though. There are ample of seats and tables. I love to choose a seat facing AMC theater just because it provides a great open view while I am eating. That said, AMC theater and Round 1 are one of the highlight of this mall when it comes to the entertainment options. Plus, they have a Starbucks at the heart of it and its decoration is very pretty and absolutely enjoyable if you decide to take a seat chatting with a friend or simply looking around for fun. The mall offer a good mix of various types of stores but I am always interested in fashion ones. Parking is super easy. read more

I expected this mall to be dying from what I had been told, but it's actually still pretty nice. It's not all that big, but does have a nice selection in its food court. The winding sloped paths are a little confusing, but a fun change. I did thoroughly enjoy my visit to their Bath and Body Works, and appreciated the selection of stores they did have space for. It was a pretty hot day and I can't say it was a great escape from the heat, I was definitely sweating while having my lunch in the food court. All-in-all a cute place, but nothing special, just a good local mall. read more

Drove over here after going to Westfield Valley Fair first and definitely felt the difference in luxury immediately. Cleanliness and bright lights are not standards upheld by every mall. Blasting air conditioning is not a given. It was a bit unsettling pulling into the big empty lots outside of Macy's, wondering if I am at the right place. The ground inside the Macy's doors was dirty. The mall was bustling with people selling baseball and pokemon cards, I see many families here compared to Westfield where it was mostly young couples. I was indoors but it was still so warm as if we were half outdoors. They have a decent selection of stores for a smaller mall, including a nice Daiso and Round1 arcade but the heat was making us feel so lethargic to continue our round the mall so we left pretty quickly. read more
