To protect our good health, please request business owners of this Paloma Plaza on 3005 Silver Creek Road, San Jose, CA to do good clean up immediately all the dumspters in the parking lot, the smell are so awful, the dirty sticky liquid leaked out from the dumspters that wet the parking and the black garbage bags are all over the parking lot, they should be put inside the designated garbage area. I beg San Jose Sanitary department, please come to check out this area to give us a pleasure while walking around this business square, please give fines to business owners who caused the unhygienic. This is a good plaza to find genuine Asian (mostly Vietnamese ) food. There are pho and bang xeo places.There is a Lao restaurant. There is a tofu restaurant that serves many items made from tofu. There is a small mom and pop store that has basic items like face masks,blankets,sun hats and visors,as well as watch repair. There smoothie or boba places. There is also a fruit and vegetable market with Asian snacks and drinks as well. The center is in a convenient place because there is a Target,Sprouts,and Indian grocery across the street, so it is almost a one-stop shop. read more

Alright folks, I am a regular to this plaza. Mostly for lunch or dinner. Below are the express review for all the places that I have been to. -Bún Mam Hà Tiên A very decent place to eat bun rieu, canh bun, bun mam (fish fermented) I think only Vietnamese, Cambodian and Chinese lived in Vietnam for generation can handle it. Ha Tien claimed no MSG in their food, I believe them. I have tried the rice dish a few times, and it's fine except the rice was always microwaved. Never have a chance to eat fresh rice here. - Com Gà Hai Nam Decent Hainanese chicken rice dish. I am a regular here. In China HaiNanese chicken serve cold, South East Asia style serve at room temperature, and has pickle cabbage. You have a little bowl of chicken broth soup to go along with the rice. They have noodle too soup too. - Huong Quê Must try their bake cat fish. The cat fish skin is crunchy and the meat is tender and most inside, freshly bake when you order. 7 course beef is also great. This is rice paper wrap place. If you are not Vietnamese and wonder how to eat those dish above ask the friendly waiters they will help you. Or ask a Vietnamese buddy to go with you. It is a great fun place to eat. The place is packed on weekend. I teased the friendly owner, we are going to attack you, are you ready ? They many other single rice dish and noodle too. No complain here. - Thai Eggplant. Tried the fried rice one time. 9.xx bucks including tax. It was good, just a bit oily, but not bad. - Thai Basil Walk by a few times, decided one day and tried the fried rice. Awful, too oily and doesn't look appetizing. Won't be back. The reviews some complaint about the service with me the service is ok but the food just didn't do it for me. - Bô Đê com Chay I eat sometimes,food is from good to so so. Decent place to stay away from meat. Owner has been changed but the food still the same. - Thiêng Long ( Sky Dragon) Probably the longest establish restaurant since the plaza was built. Most of the dish are good. Seem like a lot of patrons like the cat fish grill at the table. Need to take a shower after the dinner here especially when they are packed. - Bánh Xèo Tried 1 times, 1 waitress over loaded, and the cashier has a a tip jar next to it. Heck no, I tip her at the table. I hope she got it. Food is ...Eh... Not thing stand out. They still look busy though. A small restaurant with so many dishes and drink like pearl drink and smoothy. I don't know folks , how can you pack everything in the little kitchen? They need to stick with Banh Xeo and Banh Khot. and be the best at it. Good luck to the owner if you read this. - Đc Phng Tou Fu Banh mi and all kind of sticky rice and sweet Vietnamese deserts. Chè 1.25 after 7:30 PM , cheap bastard me :-) they seems to be pushy and ask you to by more than you want. - Phong Thy ( Feng Shuy) fruit. Tropical fruit place where you can get banana, jack fuit, guava and other tropical fruit. I don't see it has anything to do with Feng Shuy. - Hair Cut (there are 4 of them in this plaza ) I got my hair cut at the one near Pho Tau Bay. The price is pretty competitive so your head will be in good hands. Including tips around 10 bucks. - Hu Tried once and haven't go back. The place always packed. - Long An and now Cam Ranh It almost always empty, tried one time long time ago, the food is so so. The spot is bad omen, seem like all the restaurants in this plaza are doing pretty well. Except for this one. Need to seek advice from the Feng Shuy tropical fruit store, just few doors down. Maybe, they'll do better. Good luck Cam Ranh! - Massage ( there 4 massage parlors here) Have never tried. Never have the gut to walk in. That's all folks. Over all this plaza has became more busy. This plaza has an interesting selection of stores and restaurants. Do I recommend any of them, not really. The plaza is predominately Vietnamese even though it's called Paloma Plaza. With that being said they can be really racist or judgmental. Also beware there are some homeless that hang around to beg. Tips- Be super careful when crossing the street near Target. People drive really fast and don't pay attention to pedestrians because there is no cross walk. read more

Not sure how this plaza can fail you. Delicious Vietnamese food everywhere you look, boba shop galore (Tap, simply boba, cool tea, cuTea, bfresh, and Bobo drinks), massages maybe even special ones?, sports bar, snow ice, water shop, lotto tickets, tofu shop, etc etc. Seriously, how can you go wrong??? Yes parking can be troublesome at times but you can always park on the side street or in the medical plaza after hours. There's even a park/skate park/basketball court in walking distance AND Target is across the street. I freaking love this plaza. read more
