I have been going to Dr. Schreyer at Eastside Chiropractic for at least 20 years for neck, back, and carpal tunnel issues. I've utilized Doc Schreyer's services for almost a decade -- he's the best I've found, and, really, the one professional I trust the most with my aging spine (and pinched nerves, etc). Most recently, I've been seeing him three times a week for a nasty case of sciatica -- which, thanks to a lot of adjustments and time spent on that magical decompression table I affectionately call 'The Rack', I am finally able to walk normally and without pain. I guess the BEST testimonial I can give is this: EC is out of network for me, so my insurance only covers a tiny portion. Yet, despite the fact that I could go to a Chiro within my insurance network and likely save a lot of my out-of-pocket costs, I still choose to go with Doc S because, well, I like my spine, pelvis, etc -- you could say I'm very attached to them. ;) read more

I've been going to Dr. Schreyer since I moved here from California in 2004. I play a lot of recreational sports (baseball, soccer, softball etc.) and wanted someone who had experience with athletes and Doc has kept me on the field through multiple injuries during the years. The front office has always been helpful and friendly as I've gone through a few employer changes, multiple medical insurance providers and even a brief time of being unemployed. For years, Dr. Schreyer has always stressed that getting regular adjustments is foundational to a strong immune system and good health. Prior to 2014, I would try to go in regularly, a couple times a month, but like most people, I would typically end up waiting until something was wrong: back, ankle, neck, etc. before making an appt. Then, in the fall of that year, I was rear ended and suffered a moderate case of whiplash. I called Doc shortly after the accident to make an appt. for the next day the office was open, which would have been a couple days later, but even though the office was closed, he told me to come in the next day so he could give me an examination and begin treatment right away. Although I didn't feel that bad, the x-rays showed otherwise and we began treatments 3x per week, plus massage. I didn't realize it yet, but this was life changing for me. After about 4 months, my neck was back to pre accident condition, but I decided to continue once a week treatment because I realized I had never felt better. Before this time, I was a relatively healthy person, but would, like most, get several colds per year as they went around and once per year get a really bad cold and be out for a few days with sore throat, congestion, aches etc. Since I've been going in once per week fairly consistently over the past 6+ years, I have not gotten sick. I didn't realize this until I saw others getting sick around me and realized I was not catching the colds my wife or kids or co-workers were getting. Now I look forward to my visit every week because I know it is the best preventative health care. My entire family now sees Dr. Schreyer regularly. I made an appointment with Eastside Chiropractic on a gift from my martial arts studio (they gave me free consultation, X-rays, examination, and massage therapy session) and wasn't sure what to expect. The Dr. examined me and did a fine job explaining to me what he was checking for, what the curvatures in my spine meant, and explained what the X-Rays showed. He said that I was in pretty good shape but had a little curvature in my neck that contributed to my poor posture) due to disk degeneration. He also explained what the treatment would do and how it would correct my posture, as well as ease/eliminate all that tension in my neck (which I used to go to acupuncture for). I didn't feel at any time was the doctor trying to bamboozle me and just gave it to me straight; that I didn't NEED chiropractic services, but if I wanted to do anything about my poor posture, he could surely help that, as well as prevent any further disk loss. After my initial appointment I received a massage, and let me tell you; a therapeutic massage is NOTHING like a relaxation massage! It hurt so bad! I guess all that tension got to me, but I was in a lot of pain throughout that whole massage (in a good way of course). The next day I felt like a million dollars and a lot less tense. Seconds, please? I would have used his services except for the fact that I moved out-of-state and my insurance didn't cover chiropractic services, but I would recommend this doctor for all your chiropractic needs! read more

I have to give one star because there is no way to give less, if you are looking for a place to help you with your needs there is a lots of good Doctors and great staff out there, but if you really have to go to this place, please take note of all the charges and fees way before your treatment begins or they will reap you off. On their website says that the initial examination is free a $450 that you don't have to pay, that's not true, I paid $180 and the adjustment is $100 while other places are about $60. I was lied about a lot of things. Not a good experience. Please save your self from a problem. read more

Awful experience. Front desk gal, Christina is such a liar. I asked for my records because I wanted to try different treatment and she said she would need a form from Swedish for them to release that information signed by me. When Swedish called and talked to Christina she told them that she had that information for me but I didn't take it, when in fact all she would give me was my x-rays. She was so rude and unprofessional. I will never go there again and definitely wouldn't refer anyone. read more

I've always been nervous about chiropractors and whether they really know what they're doing or if it's all just a scam. I've been in severe pain for several years and have just taken ibuprofen for all the headaches and pains I've had..probably to the point that my stomach should fall out. But as soon as I visited Dr. Schreyer, it was within a week or two when I started to notice a drastic change in how much less pain I was having. I went from having headaches daily to only three headaches in a month! I highly recommend paying him a visit if you need help. I was referred to Eastside Chiropractic after seeing a plethora of specialists from general practitioner to orthopedic doctor to foot specialist trying to understand the cause of and alleviate the chronic pain that my teenage daughter was experiencing in her feet, knees and hips. After a full and very educational evaluation, we discovered that our daughter's pain was attributed to scoliosis which impacted her gait, hip alignment and then affected her knees and feet. A care plan was established and she is about half way through her treatment and we are seeing wonderful results and most importantly her posture is improved and her pain is gone! All without invasive surgery or bracing! Watching her improvement lead me to seek services for my own chronic neck pain and lower back pain that resulted from a car accident 12 years ago.
