This month I have had three cars in for regular maintenance that never gave me trouble when John maintained them and within one week of getting them back from the new BarSan one broke down (cost over $1,000 to repair after getting towed there), one had to be brought back in and cost over $1,500 and isn't running now (definitely not bringing it there) and the third also had to be brought back in and cost nearly $700. Avoid at all costs (which are guaranteed to be a lot if you go there.)

However, when it came time to pay, the total bill shot up to over $285. On top of sales tax, they tacked on a $21.65 "Parts Kit / Shop Supplies" fee--on a purely visual inspection where ZERO parts or shop supplies were actually consumed. When you call for a simple inspection quote, you expect to be told the out-the-door price, not hit with undisclosed shop fees at checkout. The technician's inspection itself was okay, but the deceptive quote and hidden fees leave a bad taste. If you choose to use this shop, make sure you get a strict "out-the-door" price in writing before dropping off your vehicle.

I caused damage to my car and the other car. After a conversation with Dean, the person who's car I hit ALSO chose to work with Masters feeling comfortable they were in great hands. He was accommodating to both parties that we need our cars (have small children/constantly running around) and worked with us to make sure the repairs were done timely! Given the hefty bill I'd see for the amount of damage, Dean worked with me to understand my options around fixes and how best to keep this as cost-conscious as possible for both vehicles. The repairs on my car were done same-day and look good as new. While the car was being repaired, they noticed I needed an oil change and one of my windshield wipers wasn't working properly (was mis-aligned) and they did those fixes free of charge given all of the other fixes I was about to have to cover for myself and the other person's vehicle. (Note: My collision was not that significant, yours may take more time.) He was responsive to my emails and worked to get proper payment from insurance without me involved. He just got it done. When I picked the car up he went over the work done carefully while in front of the car. Very friendly. Repair 5/5: PERFECT I tell ya'! The paint matched flawlessly; the lines on the pieces that were replaced were dead-on straight. The brand emblem was replaced, headlight -- perfect. He even took care of a minor ding I had which was not covered. Car handles great. Cleanliness: 5/5 - The car looked showroom new when he gave it back to me. He got it cleaned inside and out.
