My husband came in because he had an earache and the young woman with dreads working the desk was very rude to him and dismissive. He didn't have all of his insurance information and she was very unhelpful. He decided to leave and wait for me to come home. We returned same day with all of the proper information without issue thank god. This young front desk girl was also rude to this elderly man that stopped in. He seemed very confused as to why he couldn't be seen but she was rude nonetheless. In addition the Lobby Music was set to some rap station.. seriously? Megan Thee Stallion, Meek Mill & Wale. I recently read many good reviews about Eastside Urgent Care and referred them to my husband when he was feeling ill. My husband (who is also insured) was turned away from this urgent care facility in December 2018. He was having chest discomfort and some painful breathing, he came in and asked for an x-ray. Their website also says they offer digital x-rays, by the way. He was turned away and not helped, or seen by any Physician on staff. In fact, they asked him multiple times if he had TB. Instead of being evaluated, he was given a post-it note of a Doctor's name in Snellville called "Dr. Abraham", no phone number, address, etc., nothing. There was no explanation as to why he could not be seen at Eastside Urgent Care. I hope your experience here is more helpful than my husband's. read more

After awhile, what had seemed like incompetence turned into something that felt downright hostile. I was knocked head first off a scooter going 15-20mph. I thought I might have a broken bone, but since it wasn't life threatening I went here instead of an ER. Next time I might do things differently. After explaining my problem, a probably sprained, possibly broken wrist, an injured knee and lots of cuts and bruises both the nurse and PA (I never saw a doctor) asked me what I expected them to do about it. I don't know. Fix me? Tell me I don't need fixing? The PA kept poking really hard at places we'd already established hurt. As an example, she was messing with my uninjured knee, then she jabbed really hard at the place on my wrist that caused me to yell in pain earlier. When I did it again she said "oops, sorry, I forgot." She "accidently" did that three times. They said I could get some x-rays if I wanted them (entirely up to me and no suggestions made one way or another). They hadn't told me anything so maybe an x-ray tech would, so I got some. They tell me they'll get back to me today. Then the nurse fitted me with a knee brace that felt terribly wrong, so I took it off when I got home. It was an extra small. I'm a 5'11" male. To get the several muscle relaxers I was given it took two additional phone calls and finally physically going back to the place and picking up a paper version of the prescription. This morning as I was cleaning underneath all the bandages and band aids is when I realized they never even checked underneath them. And I've got a nasty contusion on that one knee. And oh, I walked into the place with a cane. As I stopped halfway out to fold up my paperwork and pocket things I put my cane under my arm. The nurse walked by and said "ha ha! Look, you've already stopped using your cane!" I'm not even sure what that means. read more

This place is new and clean and no long waits, so I'm giving it a star. Besides this, just have been having bad experience with the doctor's attitude. I took my son in to be seen for flu symptoms and the doctor (blond lady, cant remember the name) was impatient and cranky as if she was the one with the flu! Had high hopes for the place since it is so convenient for us to get to and it being a new place, but another time when my wife took our daughter to this location, she expressed similar experience with this same doctor, so I don't think it was just a wrong day thing! read more

I visit this Urgent care for minor emergencies before I visit my primary care office. You can schedule online on you own time, they are always timely when I arrive and the receptionist is always nice and friendly. The Drs. on staff are always knowledgeable about whatever I am there for and offer alternative options to what I need for care. They listen and ask thorough questions before just handing me a prescription. I have been several times for allergy/sinus issues, a piece of wood was lodged deep in my hand, and for a sprained ankle. Each time was always the same level of care...patient, thoughtful, listening and offering excellent care. I reccommend them highly! read more

This place is a hot mess. I went to this location for a rapid COVID test. I scheduled an appointment online and it said online that the wait would be about 15-20 minutes. When I got there, the man at the front desk was dismissive and then said the wait would be at least 45 minutes. I waited over an hour to get called back and then waited another 35-40 minutes to get my results back. 3 days after my visit, I received a call from someone at this location and it was the saddest excuse for an apology call I've ever received...it would've had the same effect if they hadn't called me at all. Super disappointed with my first and final visit to this place. I had heard good things, which is why I went, but most definitely will NOT be returning nor will I be recommending it to anyone else. read more

She was more concerned about the payment than the reason I came in. The wait time is worse than going to your Primary Care Physician. I waited an hour in the waiting room for them to tell me that they would not be able to see me today because all of their restrooms were broken, so they would not be able to collect a urine sample. This would have been pertinent information to give at my time of arrival, instead of having me fill out several forms and pay for the service. When I asked for my money to be refunded, the nurse took me to the front desk to void my payment and then blurted out the reason for my visit, in the waiting room, in front of several other patients. This place is so unprofessional. on their website they offer in clinic covid 19 tests, however my wife just schedule a place in line to get it done and avoid the 2-3h wait on the drive through, only to have 1h of her time wasted and be basically refused the service they advertised by the snail like speed of processing patients, she was then forced to go to the drive through lane again. Nothing here works and from past experiences this place is going downhill for a long time now. Front desk employees rude and disrespectful of people's times as well as understaffed facility that cannot process more than say, 1 patient per hour. Ridiculous for a place that calls itself an urgent care facility. read more

The young woman working front desk was unfriendly, and not wearing a mask mid pandemic at an urgent care where covid testing is being done. It was hanging off of her ear the entire 40 minutes I was in the waiting area. Not once did she put it on not even to talk to patients waiting. I used a pen to fill out paperwork and she asked me to put my USED pen in a cup that said "clean pens". I was there sick and testing for COVID and so were other patients in the waiting room. Incredibly irresponsible if you ask me. This was on October 7th at 7pm. The nurses in the back were unfriendly just like the front desk employee. I wasn't given any warning or instructions for my covid testing I was doing. I was sat down and she shoved a what felt like 9 inch cotton swab in my nose then walked out without saying anything. Came back still not saying anything, tested me for 2 more things without giving me a reason or explanation. Unprofessional and uncomfortable environment. Would rather go any place else, very disappointed to see how a place like this is handling a world wide pandemic. Do better. read more

The lady at the front has horrible customer service. A very bad attitude and the way she speaks to people, I really don't understand how she got the job. 2 hour wait. A guy came in and she told him no then when he said he just spoke to someone that said yes he could be seen, she then said it would be a 2 hour wait. Not sure why she cannot be honest and kind. Absolutely fantastic experience. Dr. Behlman has a wonderful bedside manner and was able to perform quite a difficult urgent procedure on our young child with ease, precision, most importantly, made our child feel safe and confident that we would get the help we needed. This place used to be great, but in my most recent visits, this place has gone downhill with service and urgent matters. It's urgent care, but every visit, we had to wait at least 2 hours or more which is very unacceptable. Would not recommend anybody to come here if you really need urgent care. read more

It's really sad when you come here because you are sick. There is one other patient waiting. You can hear people laughing in the back. Walking to your room you see the staff standing around chatting. Today was our first visit but if we ever need after hours or weekend medical care, we will choose Eastside Urgent Care. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We were seen within 15 minutes of our arrival. Dr deLeon was able to diagnose and administer treatment and followup care. We feel very fortunate to have this facility in our neighborhood. I am really disappointed in this place. They used to be so nice and courtesy. This morning though the doctor acted like she was in such a hurry that she didn't even care to be there. To the point that while I was finishing a statement she was already out the door. Dr. McCarter needs to work on acting like she cares, her bedside manners are nonexistent. The two MA's are super nice and Dr. bellman is very understanding and helpful. The wait was okay, i guess, about 25 minutes. Have been there three times with my daughter for minor illness and injury. The online site allows you to save your spot in line and sends you a text message when your wait time is 20 minutes ahead of when you can check in. Definitely saves you time where you can wait at home (and away from sick people). Doing the online check-in has saved us from waiting any more than 5-10 minutes in the waiting room. WAY better than an ER visit. read more
