Easy Glide came to my house to fix a catching glass door. They claimed they would "reglaze" the door. The man struggled to get the door out, in fact I had to help him get it out and in, sort of unprofessional. Worst of all, the door wasn't fixed, but he said it was as good as it would get. It was slightly better. OK I guess I'll live with it. So I called them again for an alternative solution and they claimed they couldn't find my invoice, well, I found the exact check I wrote to them. Also very unprofessional. I contacted another company who informed me the door was never repaired, and clearly showed me how the door was never reglazed or repaired, as the glass was still shaking in the sliding door. He presumed I hired a handyman, who didn't specialize in doors. Nope, I told him I used this company, but they couldn't find my invoice. So, Easy Glide failed to repair my door, lost my invoice, couldn't even do their repair without my helping them. They also lied about "reglazing" my door which never happned. The new serviceman simply showed me with complete clarity where the "glazing" should have occurred and what it looked like. I was informed this was an "easy" fix, and any professional should have zero problems fixing it. With all the options in the valley, I would strongly suggest going somewhere else. Hate to leave negative reviews, but my God, they are not a 4.5 star company. read more

I had this company install the stationary door of a large sliding door. Within 18 months moisture and condensation got inbetween the glass panels. I was told that nearby sprinklers, which are not directed on my window, were the cause for the seal breaking. Yes, wind might have blown some water, but I think I should be able to wash the window everyday and not have the seal brake. We've been struggling with our sliding door rollers which were flat spotted for over a year and I finally made a call to Easy Glide for a appointment to have it looked at. The reason I went with Easy Glide was that when they showed up for the assessment and quote for the door their customer service agent had told me that they would give me a quote that day and if I decided to do it they would have it installed and fixed that day. I enjoyed knowing that I wouldn't have to reschedule for repairs and that it would be fixed the same day. Overall satisfied with our experience with Easy Glide. Our sliding glass patio door shattered while trying to install a lock on it. We contacted a few locals to get it taken care of ASAP. Easy Glide were one of the few who responded at a timely matter with a reasonable quote. They were able to come by the next day to see the damage and give us the options of work the could to (install a brand new patio door or replace what was just broken). They helped us with removing the shattered door and contacted their shop to get the custom replacement ready while they finished their other appointments (they were able to squeeze us in for the same day!) when they did return, the installation was done in less that an hour and they were on their way! Was refer to them by a friend. I thought they were a bit pricey. But, my sliding glass door now opens and closes effortlessly. They were very pleasant. My only fault with them, other than pricey, was they did not straighten up nor clean up their mess. They had to cut some off the door, and drill 2 holes. They left the chards of cut metal on the patio and the old track wheels were left there as well. Plugging the holes they drilled, putting furniture back, and making a small attempt to clean up the mess would've made them, in my mind, a top-notch professional company. I used this company in late 2020. Abraham quoted me a price of $165.00 but when he finished, he charged my credit card $179.03. He said the added fee was for sales tax. I checked and discovered Abraham charged me the incorrect percentage of tax for my county and ALSO charged me tax on HIS LABOR, which is not legal. When I called and tried to resolve this overcharge with Abraham, he denied it was a mistake. His wife spoke up and told me she would refund me but I have never received the refund and now they don't respond to my emails. We had a sliding door that was almost to the point that we couldn't open or close it any longer.. the door and the track and the frame were all so bad that we had to do something. Easy Glide came out and looked at the problem and gave us confidence that it could be repaired at a fraction of the cost of having it replaced. They came out and worked very hard and repairing and replacing all moving parts, replacing the track and squaring up the doors to the frame. It was a LOT of work but the end result is exactly what they promised.. a door that works as good as, if not better than NEW! The door now slides with the lightest of pressure.. slides silently along the track.. Unprofessional! I have worked 5 years as a customer service manager and I am not impressed with the customer service abraham(the manager/ installer) provided. First off, our sliding door handle/lock was not installed correctly. They tried to charge me 45 dollars to repair when it was supposedly covered under warranty. So they left it that way after they tried to get me to sign a paper saying if they feel like the door handle was misused they would charge me. I discovered the two screws installed to hold the handle together were not the correct screws and were even shortened to fit. To top it off, the two screws were cut in two different sizes. Haha. No wonder it never looked right. Mind you, my father in law paid somewhere around 400 dollars for the "work." -Go somewhere else for your sliding door repairs read more

But after researching and learning that our issue could probably be fixed with some minor repairs, we decided to save money and go that route. Called on Saturday and set up an appointment for Tuesday afternoon (even though they were available Monday). So, my sliding door was getting to be a real pain in the "you-know-what"!! I live in a home that was built in the 70's, and the original sliding door and hardware had done a great job until a month or so ago. And then...the door would stop dead in its 'track' whenever I tried to open or close the slider. Turns out the wheels had worn flat in several places, so instead of rolling nicely, it would roll a few inches, then wedge to a stop. With some elbow grease, I could get it to roll a few more inches, but of course it would stop again one second later. VERY frustrating! I called Easy Glide and spoke to Abraham. REALLY nice, very friendly, and extremely professional. Said he would gladly come by (same day) and provide a free estimate as to what it might cost to repair. Showed up about an hour later (turns out we live fairly close to each other, so that helped!) It took him all of about 45 seconds to completely determine what was wrong, and how to fix it. He quoted me a very fair price, but needed to buy a second wheel in order to complete the job (he had one of them in stock on his truck, but since the patio door was so old, he didn't have two of the same part). He left and came back about 30 minutes later. After taking the existing door out, he cleaned and lubricated everything (door, frame, etc.), replaced the wheels on the bottom of the door, resurfaced the track, re-installed and aligned the door, and even helped me get the door to fit around a homemade doggy door (he didn't have to do that, but it was much appreciated!) If you read my other reviews, you'll see that my experiences with some contractors/repairmen has been great...and some have NOT been so great. Well, this one ranks as one of the best EVER! Abraham is honest, dependable, anxious to earn your business, and has no surprises. This is one of those "I can't say enough nice things about him" kinds of reviews, and I hope it helps any of you who (like me) always have the hair on the back of your neck stand up a little whenever having to call a repairman.
