They're informative, show you what's important, what to look out for during your driving tests, and any habits you need to either make or break! What really helped me the most was their optional payment to pick you up an hour before the test; Although it costs a lot of money to do so, being able to drive through both the DMV routes will help you know what to expect & to ease into driving right before the exam! Nina was a good instructor and very nice, but there were a few issues with scheduling. She would sometimes arrive late to pick my daughter up and occasionally drop her off before the lesson was supposed to end -- at one point, about 30 minutes early. My daughter also had a little difficulty understanding her because of her accent, though she was always kind and patient. Scheduling was easy and the person I talked to over the phone was nice, polite and easy to talk to. The issue is when I met the instructor, Nina. She was early from the first day BUT she just let me drive for a duration of thirty minutes then proceeded to ask me personal questions for the rest of the session. The fun never stops there, second day she was late, shouted at me all throughout the session and I just want to cry and just go home. Accent is really thick that I cannot understand what she's saying. She gets annoyed easily and even said that she has issues with black people cause their hair makes them distracted with driving and it's hard to teach them which is like a comment she shouldn't be saying to anyone. I honestly feel like I wasted my money and my time and I got traumatized with driving. Good thing my relative offered to teach me as I really got PTSD from all of her shouting. I will NEVER recommend that driving school. If you are an anxious person and it's your first time to drive, do not ever go here. To top it all off, she told me she gave up on teaching me as I can't understand her but would want to schedule another session with me as I'm not ready and was waiting for me to say yes. The first two lessons with the younger teacher (daughter?) were awesome. My daughter came away confident and happy. This last lesson was supposed to be 2 hours, and they were supposed to explore hwy driving. Instead (after 4 hours of their instruction, mind you) my daughter failed to correctly use a double left turn lane. The woman then made her park and berated her for 20 minutes, ending with my daughter crying. After a 1 1/2 hour lesson, I picked up my shaken and crying child alone in front of their house. There was 0 instruction done on this lesson. She yelled at my child instead of TEACHING her, and then didn't even explore highway driving. Signed her pretty pink slip though. So we paid for the signature. Please, take your kid ANYWHERE else. I now have a teen driver with no confidence, and no clear instructions on how to drive in certain situations. Deplorable. read more

I passed my driving test with 2 errors. But don't even consider this school. This school has condescending and terrible teachers who berate you for not knowing how to drive, and they have the audacity to try and shill extra money out of you for worthless lessons. They give you barely any driving experience, provide no meaningful tips or feedback, and couldn't even be bothered to act nice despite the hundreds of dollars you pay them. Lesson 1: With an old lady. Pretended to be nice to my parents, then absolutely switched up once I was in the car. Would constantly scream and freak out on me for messing up (which should obviously be expected), pulled me over to personally attack me, and then HAD THE AUDACITY TO HAVE ME STOP AND A PREVIOUS CLIENT'S HOUSE TO CHAT. The lesson was paid for and the time isn't even focused towards the student + the audacity to stop the lesson 10 minutes early and ask me to recommend them? Never. Lesson 2: With a younger lady. She was actually a very good teacher and let me steer on main roads while also keeping the speed controlled with her pedals, which gave me the most experience driving (other than practicing with my dad which is free and was infinitely more valuable than the other two teachers). She was calm and corrected my mistakes appropriately. Don't sign up for this school, but if you ever have the mistake of doing so, try to get this younger teacher, very professional. Lesson 3: Old guy, presumably Bill. He is so disrespectful and condescending it is insane. He doesn't do any teaching, he only does telling. He repeats instructions over and over again without giving a clear reason why what's being learned is important. He is also on his phone most of the time, doesn't even pay attention when a turn has to be made, and is so awfully stern and discouraging. Also according to him i had to practice backing up on the first 2 lessons which were never done, so not only are they terrible teachers emotionally, their curriculum is inconsistent. AND I was supposed to explore freeway driving too, which never happened. Not even mentioned, not even hinted at. Had the audacity to recommend an extra lesson for an extra fee, which my parents had the mistake of paying for Lesson 4: With the same old guy, probably Bill. Didn't even take me 3 miles away from my house. Most of it was residential driving which we had been doing for the past 3 lessons, and he didn't even give any critiques or encouragement at all. Just yelled when I messed up and became so deconstructively critical of all my mistakes. Took me on the main roads THREE times, for barely even a mile long. Nothing was learned cause he was either just silent and unforgiving or disrespectful. Lessons 5 and testing day: with the younger teacher again. Out of the 3 teachers from this school she's the GOAT. She allowed me to drive to the DMV, took me on a few actual testing routes (which I did end up going on) and was very encouraging, nothing like the other 2 "teachers". I passed and she drove me home which was pretty cool too. Again don't sign up here but if you do, you have to take lessons with her. Tl;dr and I hope you "teachers" read this, this school is a waste of time and money, they dont respect you at all, and they do not know how to teach OR EVEN INTRODUCE THEMSELVES despite their claimed 10+ years of service. I am sorry to the daughter who is such a good teacher and who has to work with other sorry people such as her parents, Bill and Nina. Taking any lessons from Bill and Nina is a terrible financial decision and if I could get a refund from the lessons I took under them I definitely would. I wouldn't refund the younger teacher though, she made the money's worth. read more

I have nothing good to say about this establishment. The drivers are extremely rude and difficult to understand. They don't listen to a single thing you say and word things in a way that's easy to misunderstand or mishear. This is a driving school, yet they act like you're mentally disabled if you don't know how to drive. I spent almost $1000 just to fail my driving test. Every single lesson ended with them wanting more money out of me. During one of my lessons, my teacher talked to me for 20 minutes about my personal life and continued trying to get me to buy more lessons, and then cut the lesson 20 minutes short. I would honestly just recommend choosing another driving school. This one is the most used because it's the cheapest, but I would recommend to just choose another driving school and pay a bit of extra money. read more

They responded right away to my initial inquiry and were flexible in scheduling. I was a student with them and had a horrible experience. They made me write a 5 star review in the car in one of the session. They also came late 2x, my parent had to call to ask if they were coming. They also ended the 2nd and 3rd session almost 30 minutes. They didn't take me on the freeway or downtown. Then after the 3rd and last session, they told me I was not ready and will fail the driving test, to try to get my parents to pay for them to give me another lesson and take me to DMV but that was another $300+. It was so discouraging! I ended up passing the behind-the-wheel on first try. So.. all in all, I DO NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone!. read more

Overall, I had a good experience with this driving school when working with Jessica and Bill. Nina, on the other hand, was a completely different experience. I felt she was overly aggressive and not understanding of the fact that I am a new driver of course I was going to make mistakes. She would huff and sigh whenever I made an error and spoke to me in a harsh tone instead of offering encouragement. She even apologized multiple times for "coming off aggressive," which tells me she was fully aware of how she was acting. Although I believe her intentions may have been good, I would not recommend her especially if your child has high anxiety when it comes to driving. Another thing to note about this school they do not teach freeway or downtown driving. Their lessons are focused solely on helping students pass the road test. Also, in my experience, some lesson hours were cut short. Keep these things in mind before purchasing lessons. read more

My son arranged to take a driving lesson with this "school." The lady came over to house and said hello and immediately asked for payment. I asked her if she accepted credit card payments and she said yes but she preferred cash to get a "discount" . She wanted it then and there but I told her I would have to drive to the bank and she said that I could pay her after the 2-hour lesson. After 1 hour and 50 minutes, they returned, and I could tell from my son's face that something was very wrong. He walked inside the house and the woman remained outside. Immediately when I walked outside she said he did horrible. She claimed he was driving so fast and it scared her so she had to elevate her voice for him to stop. She also claimed that whoever taught him how to drive did a horrible job and he would definitely be failing the DMV test, unless of course, we continued paying them for more lessons. She claimed that she knew every route for the DmV test and he would pass for sure. Then she got closer to me and was trying so hard to get me to book the next lesson (high pressure sale). I said no and handed her the $180, expecting a dollar back. She nearly took off with my change and I told her to give me the dollar back as I was very angry at all the criticism that she expressed. I could tell she was lying and exaggerating in order to put pressure on me. This highly manipulative behavior was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked my son what occurred and he said she was screaming at him from start to finish and she stepped on the break while he made a u turn which nearly hit them into an accident. I trusted this company to be professional but I do not recommend this nonsensical "service." It took me 3 months to write this as I have been beyond angry at this woman. My son is now going to a different school and they are very professional, encouraging and out safety first. They also accept credit cards without raising the price. Shame on you!! read more

The negative reviews are accurate. Instructor came 10 minutes early and expected to start the lesson then. No warning, no communication beforehand (would have been helpful!). Told me 30 mins before the lesson that he had to drive elsewhere soon and ended the lesson at 944am instead of 10am. Two hours $199 is not worth it with this school. Planned three two hour driving lessons, they gave two lessons, one for two hours, the second for 90 minutes, then forced my son to write a positive Yelp review and gave him his six hour certificate. Ironically the six hour certificate, signed by the instructor, stated "I certify under penalty of perjury under the laws...that the foregoing is true...that the above named student has completed six hours behind the wheel...". Our experience with our kid taking 3 two hour btw classes was disappointing. Instructor dropped off our kid without any communication about what the issues we needed to work on before the other appointments. Fast forward to all 3 lessons completed and our kid being utterly unprepared and no better than before we started the lessons. We requested a different teacher for a 4th costly lesson, which we liked and were willing to try another 3 lesson package. It was promised that the new teacher will be the one who comes to the 2nd appt. Fast forward to the teacher being really late to the 2nd appt, and calling our kid to let him know they were stuck in traffic! However, it was the original teacher! I called back and said "no thanks!". Bill's was not our 1st choice, but due to their availability we went with them! My little sister just completed their driving school & it genuinely felt like we just got scammed. She thought they had set payments every session and then they'd request for more money and we definitely overpaid from what we were originally told.
