My husband and I have been talking for months about junk we need to have removed, ie. old couch, part of a gate, clutter, etc. Some which we wanted to donate, others that could be recycled and some just needed to be thrown out. This morning my husband took a picture of these guys driving their truck and texted it to me. So I called. They were here within the hour (we're in Northridge), originally for a quote but I ended up hiring them on the spot. At first, I wanted them to remove just the items we set aside. Within minutes (I'm sure I'm not the first one. ha) I'm going through a lot more and ended up filling up their entire truck. The cool part, they helped me clean out cabinets and they also separated items for donation, items for recycling and items for trash. They will drop off at each place as needed. Even cooler, they will send me itemized receipts after items are donated. How awesome is that? I'd say, pretty awesome. They are also fair in their pricing. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Well worth it. They clean up too. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to do some Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, whatever cleaning. They will haul it away for you and drop off your items at the right places (recycle, trash, donation). I know I said that twice, but that really impresses me. Who does that? Give these guys a chance. I used Clean Junk Out LA (CJO) today and wanted to comment on how fantastic they were. I phoned them yesterday evening and spoke to Henry. I chose the DIY option and he had a bin in my driveway by 9 AM today! Try getting that type of response speed from other hauling companies - you won't! I know because I shopped around with 4-5 other hauling services (large corporate ones, and small local ones) and found CJO to be the most flexible in their service options and the most reasonable in price. As I said, I took the DIY approach and had my contractor help me load the bin with about 1500 sq ft of carpet and under pad, some construction debris, and other junk the old owners of my home had not touched for years. As soon as we were done loading, I phoned Henry and he was in my driveway picking up the bin within an hour of my call! So in summary, flexible options, reasonable (if not the lowest) prices, great and highly responsive service, and Henry was a really nice guy! I own a small construction company and, after using Clean Junk Out a few times for my own personal purposes, I always recommend these people to my clients. They are by far the fastest acting and most reliable junk removal business in the area. And, their prices are great, to top everything off. The last time I used them myself, my wife and I had come home to find that a pipe had burst in our basement and there was water everywhere. Henry and his amazing crew saved our sanity the day he showed up at my mother's house last month. We found him here on Yelp and were in desperate need of help. Henry arrived within the hour, gave us a good quote and started working right away! With our mom safely in a nursing home we were faced with cleaning out an almost 5000 square foot hoard plus a full garage and backyard. We were completely overwhelmed with the enormity of this task but Henry and Mike and everyone else took care of it and in 3 days it was all sorted through and hauled away. Clean Junk Out provided excellent customer service. When first looking for someone to come and help clean up some of the old furniture and construction items we had I was unsure where to start. Called in the late evening, got a response right away. The next morning we recieved our estimate and an option for saving some money. I opted to have them bring me a dumpster and fill it myself, as opposed the them bringing a crew over to remove the items. Within 20 minutes he returned with the dumpster and said I could keep it for 5 days. I ended up keeping it for 7days with no extra charge. Recieved a text when they were on thier way and within 20 minutes he arrived. Removed dumpster and provided great customer service. I recieved a text later ensuring that everything went well. Other reviews are accurate -- these guys are fast, prompt, honest, clean, near and reasonable! I texted them Sunday morning and they were at my house quickly and exactly when they said the same day. Prior to coming over, they even asked how accessible the location of my construction debris was. After I told them appropriate dimensions of the driveway access, they brought a smaller truck that fit with no problems. Twice with other haul-away companies, I've had my custom electric gate and new retaining wall damaged by trucks (even though I warned them ahead of time and at the time). This makes me especially appreciate the sensibility and caution if these guys. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them for any type of clean-up and/or hauling. Was left to decide what to do with my mattress, night tables, fish tank, bookshelves, futon, and extra small stuff before my move. I called up CJO and they asked me to text them photos for my quote. When they gave me an estimate I was unsure but a few hours later decided to go through with it. Henry showed up at my apartment 30 minutes after 5pm and gave me an onsite quote. He was ready to move it out right then but I told him it could wait until the next morning. No problem. Morning rolls around and he shoots me a text that he would arrive shortly with an ETA. Came on time, took away everything in under a half hour. Though reading this you might think it was rushed...but it never felt like that. I rarely write reviews but this one is 1,000% deserved. Gary was super responsive and professional right out the gate and during the entire process. His team was able to get to us in the short window before our business opened which was very helpful. At first our company needed a large cryotherapy unit removed however the scope of work changed by the morning of our pick up and Gary was so flexible and understanding regarding the shift in need. Sold my place looked up several junk hauling companies this company looked professional with a nice slogan. Called them up they were nice, reasonable so told them to come on by. But what we talked about initually was not met at the same standards after completing the job. I felt like I was overcharged by the truckload and they added some other ridiculous fees. I had to clear out a garage and they met me for an estimate, they were on time and pleasant. I spoke with two other companies and they were the most reasonable and flexible as far as pricing and timing went. They showed up when they said the would. They brought a brand new state of the art dump truck, no oil stains in the driveway when they left, left the garage nice and clean. It was very easy to work with them. They came to the site to pick up the trash they did not tell is that there truck is kind of full, we told them if you can not fit all our junk in your trunk please let me know and its not issue but they said don't worry we will do it and we have space! 1 hour later they start complaining that they dont have enough space and left the huge part for us and we paid them for nothing!
