I found them on a Google search trying to find somewhere that would accommodate vegan options, as I (and several of my guests) are plant -based. I was thrilled reading reviews from others experience with Chef Ravi and The Chic Chef Team and decided to reach out. Their website is every easy to navigate and their food options were exactly what we were looking for. They were so accommodating while I started the planning process 100% remotely while living in California, and experienced some delays with the pandemic era. I don't think I've ever had any item that I didn't enjoy but in general am delighted by what I have. Two things about the ingredients really stand out for me from this caterer. For most all of them, the vegetables are fresh and delicious, but Northern Fork's fruit is perfectly ripe and sweet. This way I never have to worry about getting a sour piece of fruit. The other thing is that I don't normally choose vegan food, but Northern Fork has managed to make everything taste delicious. Once the menu was selected, the Chef handled the food shopping. Our dinner party consisted of 9 people--5 had steak, 2 had chicken and the other two people chose fish.  The Chef also prepared side dishes of a potato stack, mushrooms, asparagus and green beans.  In addition, we requested appetizers--a charcuterie board and an apricot/maple sausage flatbread.  The appetizers were exceptional and everyone enjoyed them.  The dinner preparation was exceptional---sous chef Jasmine and chef Gerard were able to prepare all dinners in a kitchen he had never seen.   Gerard and Jasmine worked effectively as a team and took time to interact with us answering questions about their work. The meal ended with a strawberry shortcake topped with ice cream and was the perfect desert after our meal.  Chef Gerard and Sous Chef Jasmine cleaned the dishes/kitchen before departing.
