That took another 15 minutes. Frustrating as we saw other tables get helped promptly by many of the other servers. While this is a normally good, quick lunch spot, we didn't leave until maybe an hour and a half later. The food was okay but not worth the poor service. I did hear that the chicken hibachi was good but would've been better with yum yum and ginger sauce like what's available at other restaurants. Maybe just a one off but we won't return soon.

Was able to advise that soy sauce was in all the sauces so I couldn't have any. Scallops had flour and they made a batch without flour for me. Served salad without dressing. Offered salt and pepper as seasoning which worked perfectly for me. Plain steamed rice instead of fried rice. I was honestly a bit worried, but they did things right :) Chef was very entertaining. From what I observed, Black families were waiting extended periods of time, while White and Mexican customers were seated much more quickly. A party of 15 that arrived well after us was even seated before my group. I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by the treatment my family received on my mother's birthday. This would have been her first hibachi experience, and instead it was ruined by poor customer service and what appeared to be unfair treatment. He appeared to be reciting a generic script, and he spoke so quietly that we could barely hear him. Part of the appeal of hibachi is the entertainment and engagement, and that was definitely missing. We spent a lot of money for this celebration, especially considering this restaurant seems to cater to birthdays and other special occasions. I noticed several birthday parties while we were there. With that in mind, I expected a much better experience. To make matters worse, the portion sizes were surprisingly small. Overall, this visit was disappointing from start to finish. However, the experience inside is anything but. The staff were so welcoming and genuinely seemed happy that our part of was there. Our group of 8 sat around a hibachi table. We were pretty quickly welcomed, and our drink orders were taken. Soon after our food orders were taken and the show started (about 20 to 25 minutes after our reservation time). The staff was great to check and double check regarding accommodations for allergies. We started with Japanese clear soup and salad with ginger dressing. Our hibachi chef was so personable and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed his cooking style, jokes, and the food he prepared for us. We received very generous portions of food and many of us walked away with leftovers. I am excited to return. Every part of this experience was great.
