    maggot

If you want food poisoning and extra protein, order from this place. Upon going to eat my food, it was discovered that there were maggots in it!!! I called the owner to demand compensation and he told me it was my fault and he wouldn't help us!! But maggots in the food!! What else is there to say Update: they've finally refunded our money, but the restaurant has called us several times demanding I take down the review because the "maggots aren't from their restaurant" and they're adamantly blaming their vendor. I don't care where they came from! They were in the food they served to us. So beware!!! If you buy from this place, you may get maggots AND harassed!

Eat Rice is quickly becoming my favorite Chinese delivery place in this area. The food doesn't seem quite as expensive as most places. For instance, an order of egg rolls is less than $3 and you get two as opposed to one. No other place is doing that. I always order via DoorDash and the food always arrives when I need it to and it's always hot. I only typically order Hunan chicken but I thought I'd try Chicken with mixed vegetables and I asked them to make it spicy. It did not disappoint. My new favorite.

Chinese carryout with a large menu and decent prices. This is our 'go to' Chinese because of the convenience, prices, flavor and portions. We pre-order online or by phone and the food is prepared quickly. Food is always hot, flavorful and appetizing. "Dinner Combinations" are your best value with an entree, fried rice and egg roll. Garlic Chicken (with a little kick) is my favorite. Wife loves cashew or teriyaki chicken. But we've tried beef & broccoli, bourbon chicken, chicken lo mein, as well as others and never had a combo we didn't like. We always get extra egg rolls (wife LOVES them) and crab rangoon. Two combos (with egg rolls), those EXTRA egg rolls plus crab rangoon still runs us under 20 bucks! They serve SMOOTHIES too (although we've never tried them) - see uploaded menu. If you're expecting an emperor's buffet, not here - but for good Chinese carryout at reasonable prices, look no further than Eat Rice Kettering.

Raw chicken in my food and not even fried rice just boiled.

I'd advise you don't eat here if you want raw chicken and not real chicken fried rice and I'm going to demand my money back when they open up, tastes like they rushed crab ragoon was also disgusting.

Good food, but keep an eye out for strands of hair. I've gotten multiple bourbon chicken orders from here and it's happened about twice.

There was plenty of parking and signage. They have a varied and very authentic menu to choose from! We ordered a broth based lo mein noodle bowl and a hand pulled cold dry noodle bowl. BF added on a braised egg and I ordered a Taiwanese sausage on a stick. Yum on all accounts! Chili oil was automatically brought to us and the waitress was super friendly as well as bilingual. Food was brought out within 5-10 minutes of ordering. YES!! presentation and taste were perfect. Their prices and portions are reasonable and I love everything about this place, down to their cat portraits adorning the walls! Wish this place opened a location in Cleveland! I saw that they have spots in Cincy and Cbus!!

The noodles are actually made in-house and have a lovely texture. I got the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and was definitely not disappointed. The broth is light, but full of flavor at the same time. It is truly very comforting on a cold winter night. I think the beef slices on there are a bit tough, but it's not too big of an issue. The portion sizes are actually crazy. I got the regular size and could finish maybe just half to 2/3 of the noodles, along with a majority of the beef. I can't imagine how massive the large bowl would be... For health, I also ordered some stir-fried bok choy. This was stir fried well, but I'm not really sure what the flavor profile was supposed to be. Is it garlic? Is it spicy? I couldn't really place it. The prices are very fair for the quality of food they provide, and service throughout the night was decent. I will probably be back again, if I visit Dayton! When we arrived, there was no host and it was several minutes before anyone came to seat us. Dinner was just as disappointing as our lack of a host. The wonton soup seemed watered down and the wontons had very little filling. Instead of chicken and vegetables, I received a plate with intestines, chicken and shrimp. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. My husband ordered fried rice as it is usually tasty, but the rice seemed overcooked and very clumpy as was my side serving of fried rice. The place looks like it needs a good cleaning. The dust is years worth of dust and is very thick. The restrooms also needed tending to as my restroom has lots of toilet paper on the floor. I guess we have overlooked its shortcomings for years, but since I was complaining about the food, I might as well include its great need of cleaning and attention. It looks like they haven't cleaned since they remodeled many years ago.
