Peking Garden is located in Kettering in the Oak Creek shopping center on Whipp by Bigger Road. This Chinese restaurant has been in this shopping center for years. My go to dish is Hunan Chicken as I love my veggies & has a kick. A friends favorite is sweet& sour chicken. Was in the area and looking for a local Chinese place. This place was AMAZING. The best pot stickers I have ever eaten. We were deciding between the potstickers or the wontons. I went with friends for lunch on Thursday. We were greeted as we entered and were shown to a table and given a menu. There were many choices and the menu included a section of lunch specials. Small inside dining area, but clean. The owner is delightfully pleasant and sweet. The egg drop soon had seasoning that I have never experienced in egg drop soup, but it worked very well. Ordered doordash last evening 712/2020 Order shows as at the restaurant being made. I get in shower, get out, look at app, it shows as being off and delivered. I holler to my partner that they should be here. He goes to greet them. I look back at app and notice above the red line showing delivered food. It says ORDER CANCELLED. what the heck? They were making the food?? It showed me somewhere there was no dasher. Okay. Fine. Why didn't you let me know. 30 seconds on the phone and we would have picked up our food!! They would not answer phone and then had a recording saying they will be closed tomorrow. Well, by now other restaurants are closing early and they really messed up our dinner plans. read more

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. I've ordered from Peking Garden twice since moving to the area. My sister said they're one of the better Chinese delivery options around. Based on Yelp reviews of this and other locations, that's not saying much. Pros: 1. You can order online. 2. They deliver 3. They're quick 4. Prices are avg. 5. Food is avg. 6. Fried rice is good Cons: 1. Food is avg. The first time I ordered I ordered Schezwan chicken and I ordered it hot. It was not. The veggies were boring and the dish was bland. The egg roll was greasy and bland as well. The second time I ordered I ordered General Tso's chicken and won ton soup. The soup broth was good, the won tons tasted a bit greasy. The chicken dish was very good and the fried rice wonderful. Again, bland egg rolls on the greasy side. Delivery guy is nice and pleasant. Will I order here again? Probably, and I'll still to basics, avoid egg rolls, and be pleasantly content with my average meal. read more

Slightly above average Americanized Chinese food, but they provide quick service with friendliness, and that's much more than most fast-food Chinese restaurants provide. We ordered the Schezuan dumplings, fried doughnuts, and the crab wontons for snacks next door. Speaking of, I've heard that this place is ecstatic about the new bar next door. The owners from both establishments are very friendly to each other. Mutually benefitting locations to each other... I hear! Anyway, my only big gripe is that there's a kid a few years older than my youngest brother (who's 5) that's taking orders and also delivering them next door. At oldest... He's maybe 7? I get that restaurants probably have some clause about family being able to work for you, but it's still something that seems weird to me. Hey, about that comment about the "inauthentic" Tso's Chicken... You do understand that it's never authentically prepared in the states... And is hardly even a "real" dish in China. Come on now. My absolute favorite chinese food in the area. I will go out of my way just to go there. We order the sweet and sour chicken, broccoli beef, chicken teriyaki, and the crab rangoons everytime we go. I can literally make a meal on the crab rangoons all by themselves. My son doesn't even like seafood but he loves them. This is probably some of the best Chinese food I've had in Dayton! And they deliver! Which is super convenient on busy days. We have had them deliver food to us a couple of times now (even in bad weather) and we have never had a problem with their delivery. Food comes super hot every time. We haven't eaten at the actual restaurant yet. But their menu has a wide variety of Chinese food options. Out of the different items that we have tried, so far our favorites are the seaseme chicken, Mongolian beef, egg rolls, and their egg drop soup! We usually order two meat entrees and upgrade one to include the appetizers and just split the appetizers. This ends up being almost the perfect amount of food, with some extra for leftovers. Highly recommend giving this place a try. We already can't wait to try something new the next time we eat here! read more

My daughter wanted food delivered tonight, so we tried Peking Garden after getting a flyer in my mailbox. What do you know, another really good place. I ordered the Szechuan Dumplings extra spicy. They came immersed in a sweet and spicy sauce...VERY good. Szechuan beef, spicy...only mushrooms, green onions and beef...and yes, nicely spiced. She got the Mongolian beef which she said was really good as well. I like that they give you a ton of ordering options, such as spice level and additional ingredients. Singapore noodles. Singapore noodles. They are so good. They are soooooooooooo good. It's so savory and delicious. Don't be put off by the fact it's made with curry. It's just the spice, not some overpowered Indian goopy dish. Mixed with lots of fine cut veggies, chicken, pork and shrimp. It's the best Singapore noodles I've ever had in Ohio. The general Tso on the other hand, no me gusta. It's very thick sauce is too sweet, but I'm very picky when it comes to my GT. Anyways this place rocks my socks off. read more
