I have gone a few times for general adjustments when I feel a bit off. The adjustments always seem to get me back to 100%. Recently I went for an issue with my elbow. Between weights and jiu jitsu I get pretty torn up. Dr. M was able to fix this up also. She has the skill and equipment to fix you up. She is priced really fairly. Dr. M is who I see when I need to get back to 100%.

It was the best choice I could have made. I've been a regular at the Hofman Chiropractic and by far it's the cleanest and nicest staff ever. For one they are very reasonably priced and their knowledge and attitude towards helping you is why I continue and will always be a patient their. Billy has worked on my mobility and has caused my weightlifting to go up significantly. I'm a huge fan of cupping and they have all the equipment you need. Whether you do crossfit, play sports, or just need a back alignment I highly recommend coming here. It's a friendly environment and I promise you will not be let down.

She's had an issue in her lower back for the last few weeks and we've tried all the various modalities on it but she could not find relief. I figured there was no better time than now for her to check out The Joint. Christine was her usual sweet and welcoming self which really helped to put my daughter at ease. The registration paperwork was quicker than I remembered, which was nice. Dr Mack was as also wonderful with my little one. It was a very educational visit for her and a fantastic introduction to the benefits of chiropractic care. I am so pleased that they treat children here, I've always loved it and it's nice to know I can bring the kids in to get worked on! Highly recommend.

After spending about 3 minutes with Dr. Wilkes at my initial consultation I was told that I needed…read morea joint replacement in my right foot. I was trusting and agreed to the surgery. Two days before the surgery I received a message that a script for pain meds and antibiotics had been submitted to a pharmacy that I had never used in the past. And I had never used this pharmacy because they didn't accept my insurance. I contacted the office multiple times and was told the mistake would be corrected. Since the script had not been properly submitted by the day of the surgery I mentioned it again, both to the OR prep nurse and Dr Wilkes. I was assured the meds would be available post op. But they were not. Since the surgery was on a Friday (don't ever have surgery on a Friday) I was forced to go the weekend without meds. On Monday I contacted the office 3 times and was told the messages would be relayed to Dr. Wilkes. But Monday evening the pain had become so bad that I required a trip to Sutter Roseville ER. (See attached pic) The ER provider submitted the script for pain meds and antibiotics immediately. After a couple of months post op and still experiencing intense pain in my right foot I question Dr. Wilkes as to the surgical procedure that he had performed. He assured me the "joint replacement" had been successful and that it would take a few more months before I would have any relief. After seeing Dr Wilkes multiple times and getting the same explanation re. the surgery I decided to see a different podiatrist. Upon the first visit this new podiatrist scheduled an MRI of my right foot. Long story short, the MRI did not show that the joint had been replaced. The doctor mentioned that she was unable to determine what had been done during the surgery by Dr. Wilkes. She also mentioned that the joint was "destroyed" and that a second surgery would be required to fuse what was left of the joint in question. There are other negatives associated with my treatment from Dr. Wilkes but I'll skip over those to keep this review as brief as possible. If you're considering surgery with Dr. Craig Wilkes I would definitely advise to seek a second opinion.

I've been seeing Dr. Karla for almost 2 years. I initially sought treatment in the second trimester…read moreof my first pregnancy, and my primary goal was to limit postpartum pelvic floor issues. However, I did not realize what a difference the exercises she taught me would make for my pregnancy and delivery. I had no sciatica pain, no hip pain or lower back discomfort so many of my friends experienced. I came back 6 weeks postpartum to work on my pelvic floor strength, and Dr. Karla encouraged me to get an abdominal lump checked out that ended up being a pancreatic cyst I had to have surgically removed. Well, guess what? I came back to Dr. Karla 6 weeks postop to work on my postop core. She has helped me regain core strength, reduce my scar tissue/discomfort and I'm a year postop feeling almost back to my pre-postpartum self! I cannot encourage you enough to seek out Dr. Karla for any pelvic floor needs, she is great at what she does but also fun to hang out with during your session.

Despite eating well, staying active, and…read moreexperiencing no significant side effects from having my prostate removed, I began experiencing occasional incontinence during sex, and while doing some resistance training. I doubled my Kegel exercises, thinking my pelvic muscles were weak, but things only got worse. In addition to having weak pelvic floor muscles, I thought I might be doing my core exercises the wrong way. I decided I needed to consult an expert. At my first appointment with her, Karla Trotta immediately recognized that the muscles in my pelvic floor weren't too weak, but rather were excessively tight--a problem I never would have been able to identify on my own. She had a plan to help me, and her approach combined expert hands‑on therapy, targeted home exercises, and the use of her electromagnetic pulse machine (which not only helped my pelvic floor but also was used to relieve a stubborn case of tennis elbow!). In our sessions, Karla was always upbeat, professional, educational, and genuinely enjoyable. In relatively short order, she taught me how to relax my pelvic floor and retrain the muscles, restoring control and eliminating my problems. The knowledge and skills I've gained, and improvement in function, have been life‑changing. I'm profoundly grateful for her skill, insights, and her warm, encouraging demeanor. She truly made all the difference for me.
