Our physical therapist, Steve O., was remarkable! On time to the minute on all 6 visits. He is extremely knowledgeable about hip surgery, and provided excellent, thorough, information and visual aids on recovering from it. To top it off, he is a great guy! Easy to talk to and ask questions of, with a great sense of humor. His last visit was today and we are going to miss him.

The nurses and PTs we have had (for hip and knee replacements) have mostly been very good - but…read morescheduling is a nightmare. The office staff is not at all helpful and they will not schedule visits until the night before. Once you have been assigned someone, you can communicate directly with them - but until then dealing with the office staff is just awful. For the knee replacement, they sent a PT to do both PT and nursing duties. This individual was not qualified for wound assessment/care, and removed the staples too soon resulting in the wound opening - and now we are facing another month of wound treatment. We have had three different "case managers" and the communication has been dreadful. Very disappointing - I would not recommend them.

After a few months of combining her functional medicine and acupuncture approaches, the episodes began to be fewer and farther between until they disappeared completely! Marcia Johanson at Family Physical Therapy has been my physical therapist for the past couple of…read moreyears, and I continue to see her for different areas of my body. She is patient, caring, knowledgeable, and takes the time to educate and work with you. Her hands-on approach and massage techniques have made a huge difference, helping me walk with much less pain. My chronic pain is ongoing, but I'm doing a lot better thanks to her. The clinic is clean, well-maintained, and equipment is in great shape. I appreciate the private treatment rooms and the friendly front desk staff--they're easy to communicate with. Marcia is always on time and fully engaged during appointments. Occasionally, her assistants arrive late in the mornings, which can affect the last part of the session when they're supposed to take over for certain exercises while Marcia moves to the next patient. Even so, Marcia's knowledge, skill, and attentiveness make the care excellent. I'm giving five stars because of Marcia--she is the reason I continue coming here and the therapist I would always recommend. Her expertise, patience, and hands-on care make all the difference, and I truly trust her with my physical therapy needs.

I stopped after 2nd time because I was told my program would be updated for me online but that never happened. Few of the exercises I was given were not on the online program which confused me. I need to have the physical therapist be proactive with me and I need to feel they care about my progress. I called to reschedule bc my babysitter cancelled and was told to go ahead and come in and the verbiage the front desk used was "we will figure it out" well as someone who used to be a dental office manager I would watch children while people had a root canal or other service. I come in after getting my child in the car which is such a fight because of transitions and his autism and he's 3... I get there and wait about 10 minutes and then someone comes and tells me sorry we can't take out your nexplanon with your autistic child here. ok cool but I called!! I asked!! I explained!! I offered to reschedule!!! so then I'm crying and they're like what can we do? I said nothing like I'm going to sit here while my child is now upset we're leaving and try getting them into their car seat and I'm going to cry alone thanks. honestly the lady at the front desk should have been in trouble for that. she admitted she told me to come in anyway with my child. it's too hard to get a new patient appointment anywhere else and I'm established here so I will go back but I'm very unhappy with the front desk.
