Honestly I rarely use these, so trying to be kind, I told him, "NBD, I use my phone for that" .... But, then it stopped ticking 2 days later. When I returned to the store, I requested he place a new battery in & asked that he show me the package (so I could check the expiration date). He walked out from the back with just the expired battery he removed from my watch to show me. So, I said, "No, I want to see the package of the NEW battery you're putting in, so I know it's NOT EXPIRED." He returned with his supply (i.e., 2 batteries: both expired 2020). I asked him for my $15 back, and he REFUSED because he said I did not have my receipt. Then, to make matters worse! ... on my Google 1-STAR Review of LIPPA's he lied, saying he "could not find my name anywhere in his computer system" ~ trying to make it appear as if I had the wrong Jewelry Store (funny... He never did ask for my name today; he simply stated without my yellow receipt, he would not REFUND ME $15 for dishonestly placing an EXPIRED 2020 WATCH BATTERY in my wrist watch) A THIEF is a THIEF (thieves always lie; they have, or they get caught) and a LIE is a LIE: a Tiger doesn't change their stripes, no matter how big, or small their kill is. LIPPA's does NOT DESERVE Anyone's BUSINESS, or TRUST. ~ I suppose if I walked in with an expensive suit & tie to buy an engagement ring, he would have had the decency to behave himself better & not steal from someone 65 y.o. on a fixed income. Shame on this man & his mother who raised him.

Buying rings can be an overwhelming experience but Mike and the staff were super helpful on site and thoroughly went over questions such as what we wanted; what was important to us; likes/dislikes; etc - and used that info to narrow the focus and show us options that would potentially work. Both the bride and groom are super happy with the results and Lippa's wedding bands will be with us the rest of our lives. We highly recommend Lippa's.

I admit I get excited in hardware stores and enjoy browsing tools that I might want to buy but to be made out to be a thief is really unprofessional. I wouldn't go pay for my items and give them my phone number for my rewards after I just had stolen anything. I take pride in myself by being a friendly trustworthy person. I don't steal from anyone. As I walked out of the store I told the lady at the front door to have a good day and she replied accordingly but in a snarky patronizing way all the while not looking me in the eyes once but blatantly staring at my pockets and my front sweatshirt pocket which had my cellphone in it which I'd put a million dollars she assumed was a stolen item. She did it as if to say " hey scumbag I know you just stole something." I almost walked back in immediately to empty my pockets to prove to her I had stolen nothing. But I don't owe that to anyone. Fire the middle aged woman with shoulder length brown wavy hair and give the older gentleman and Terry a raise. I went from appreciating two employees to despising another. Maybe I'm over reacting but it just really rubbed me the wrong way. I was the big guy with the tan sweatshirt and camo hat at 2:08 pm on Tuesday September 24th. So you know you were wrong when you check your cameras. I'll be going to Swanton from now on.

We love our new furniture--but the customer service experience was disappointing…read more My husband and I were excited to purchase a new bedroom set. After comparing prices, we found that Burlington Furniture was quoting us $2,000 more than a California company, even with shipping and assembly included. Still, we wanted to support a local business, so we returned to Burlington Furniture, and they agreed to match the competitor's price. We were given an estimated delivery date of 4/30. When we followed up, we were surprised to hear that our furniture wouldn't arrive for nearly two more months. We understand that delays happen, but we were frustrated by the lack of communication. I called the manager to get clarity and was told that the employee who gave us that update was no longer with the company. She promised to follow up--which she did--but she didn't provide a new delivery timeline. Instead, she told us the order wasn't actually delayed and that deliveries typically arrive two weeks after the estimated date. It's unclear why the original estimate wouldn't account for that window, and what's worse, I never heard back from the manager again. Ultimately, the delivery company brought our furniture just five days after the estimated date, which we appreciated--but the poor communication and lack of accountability from Burlington Furniture left a bad impression. We're happy with the product, but extremely disappointed in the service. Sadly, this experience has cost Burlington Furniture a customer.
