Yesterday on July 23, I was driving along on my way to work with my toddler in the car and I lost my drain plug 128i. I limped off the side of the road to the shoulder, I looked up nearest Bmw mechanic and EBB Elite had Four stars so I thought let's give them a shot. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP!!!! THEY DESTROYED MY ENGINE. IT SPUN A BEARING DUE TO THEM NOT PUTTING ENOUGH OIL IN MY ENGINE!!! I brought in my 2003 BMW 330i in for an oil change. And they under filled it with oil!! They put 5.5 quarts when it takes 7??!! I took my vehicle up to Lake Arrowhead that day trusting they put enough oil. And when I got back, the next morning it was making a knocking sound! I immediately stopped the car, checked the dipstick and it was dry!! Anyone with mechanical experience knows when you under fill an engine with oil and its subject to uphill, downhill, and turns which is the road up to the lake, it will starve of oil if it doesn't have enough in the pan for oil pump to pump oil through. They tried to play the high mileage card saying that's what caused it! But that's not the case. I've owned e46 and e36 BMW's and I'm very familiar with M54, M52 and M50 engines for the past ten years WITH WAY HIGHER MILEAGE AND RAN GREAT. I'm also an ASE certified technician with 7+ years of experience. So I know they're full of it. The oil filter I removed was full of rod bearing metal flakes and chunks!! This is the first time taking my 740li bmw into a independent shop outside of of my normal bmw dealership. My extended warranty had recently expired and repairs on most bmw cost lots of $$$$.... I was excited to had found a bmw specialist in Fontana close to my home. Shop is clean and well organized! Needed a rear brake job (rotor & brake pads) and they hooked it up under $600 which is a very reasonable deal!!! Nick my service rep was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. My bmw has been in this shop since 9/18. Everytime I pick it up it's a new issue with them (4x now). It stays in this shop and Edward the owner promises it's going to be fixed. $3,200 later I've paid to them and my car is in terrible condition. I've asked several times to run a scan diagnostics on my car so there is NO addition problems wrong with my car and he said out of his mouth, "Their is nothing wrong with the car its fixed and drives perfect". He quoted me $3000 for a jump timing, then all of a sudden my pipes are broken, I need a valve pcv gasket cover, and my car is shaking with the driver malfunction light on everytime. They are very unprofessional, so If I were you... So I bought a car that was didn't know the prior history, drove it about 2k miles when I get rod knock I took it into this shop because it was recommended to me, I knew it was internal the problem because i checked the oil filter and it had metallic flakes in it,scanned the car for codes no codes came up, took it into the shop and told me it was something else which was not internal at all and charged me 1350 so that had me skeptical at first (valvetronic motor), later they give me a call and tell me it was rod bearings, 11k later i get my car back, turns out I got it back with minimum oil and misfires i sent it to find out why it had misfire, misfires were caused by a tune the car already had on prior purchase so it was removed, car seemed back to normal... Only thing I noticed was engine would warm up really quick. they told me car had to be driven calmly for 500-1000 miles for engine to settle in cant exceed 5k rpms no issues, 1.3k miles later car broke in was on the freeway getting off a ramp brakes seized engine seized I get a drive train malfunction barely stopped in time from causing a accident. I take it to a more reputable shop. They send me a list and a bunch of pictures of why the engine seized they said it was due to a incorrectly rebuilt engine (I have evidence) they gave me a list the timing chain popped off a tensioner, head was stripped I did notice the spark plugs were hard to tighten since I got the car but didn't think this would cause a issues and I was not informed by Elite BMW Benz that it would be an issue later on. I had to buy a whole new engine, when elite bmw benz told me the rebuilt engine would be like new and would last me, and also before this happened we brought them another car back in Feb because we were going to move, brought it in for power steering because we didn't have time to do it, my family was driving in that car to when miraculously the serpentine belt slipped off which could seize the engine, and to change the power steering pump you need to remove theserpentine belt, so my guess is they're sabotaging cars, and not two months later power steering just leaked from the same car. They also claim to have bought the parts from BMW when BMW DOES NOT SELL INTERNAL ENGINE PARTS. read more

This is our first BMW. Purchased used, and of course, two months in and Transmission failure. All I've heard is how expensive repair costs are with this vehicle, so of course, freakout mode engaged! I first took it to a shop in Rancho Cucamonga for diagnostics after reading reviews. They were very nice, however as I would find out after visiting Elite BMW, not very thorough. After paying for the diagnostic and getting te recommendation of a whole rebuild, something was not sitting right with me. I did not like the vagueness and generality in the diagnostic. I once again turned to the reviews for help and found Elite BMW here in Fontana. Here is the bottom line, This is an Outstanding location. Edward provides top notch service. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to the moment our business was concluded. I was extremely satisfied. To begin with, Edward explained what a thorough diagnostic should be, and then completed it. Communication was above and beyond. Edward not only described in detail services to be performed, but consistently sent me pictures of the project as it was being performed. As for price, this was a HUGE concern to me, as we are in difficult times. Edward was extremely reasonable. He saved me approximately $1,100 over that Rancho Cucamonga shop. And the labor costs were a fraction of what a dealership would charge. For me piece of mind is worth everything. Having someone I know that I can go to in the future is key. Very relieving knowing that you can still get great service without paying a premium. The only reason I would write such a long, detailed review, is because, well, Elite BMW earned it. Just had my Mercedes' Benz transmission serviced. Ryan was very professional and informative. The office was clean and very cool inside which was a nice relief from the heat. After the service, Ryan showed me pics of my car's transmission and pan just assure me that the work was done. Also took pics of some concerns that I should keep an eye on. I have been to Mercedes dealers and two other Independent mechanics who work on German cars, and I must say this place is the best.
