He flawlessly navigated facilitating a tasting while also ringing up customers and pouring glasses of wine. Seating was diverse and all very comfy. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Be prepared for the prices. They felt high for average tasting wines.

    # Tasting Room Heartbreak: When Man's Best Friend Gets Banned…read more Just found out today was Pickle's last day at one of my favorite wine tasting rooms, and I'm absolutely devastated. As someone who visits weekly, this place has become my weekend sanctuary precisely because it was so dog-friendly. The charm of seeing Pickle's sweet face in the window was something I looked forward to every visit. I can't count how many times I've watched people walking by stop dead in their tracks, point at that adorable face peering out, and decide right then to come inside. Nathan's charismatic hosting is what initially kept me coming back weekend after weekend, but the dog-friendly atmosphere truly sealed the deal. In a world where finding quality places that genuinely welcome our four-legged family members is rare, this spot stood out. To the management: please reconsider this decision. Pickles wasn't just a cute mascot - he was part of what made your tasting room special. As a devoted wine club member, I'm seriously questioning whether I'll continue my visits without the joy of seeing that precious pup. Who else is heartbroken about this? Have you ever chosen a place specifically because it welcomed dogs? #SavePickle #DogFriendlyWineries #WeekendWineRuined

When we arrived we weren't sure…read morewhat to expect since it's a very modest appearance from the outside not really resembling a winery we were used to seeing. We are gave each other the "what have we gotten ourselves into" look. We were greeted immediately upon entering and proceeded with a tasting. Tasting fee is waived with a bottle purchase. I tried the Mormor Riesling, VNA Viogner... and some reds to round out the tasting- Tried the Confluence Red Blend, Watershed Merlot, Cab Barrel Select and Syrah (shared some with the hubbie). The Riesling was my favorite of the whites and which we purchased some along with some dessert wine- LaRue since they don't have wine tastings or glasses of the dessert wine. My husband liked the Cab Barrel select so we also purchased that one. The prices for the bottles were reasonable especially considering it's a small winery and the costs sometimes get high for smaller inventory. The husband and wife were hospitable and we were welcome to sit outside by the roaring fire but chose to relax inside with our friends. A few extra spots inside to sit would be nice but it's a cozy small area. There is a public washroom inside. Overall it was a nice visit and we would return. We enjoyed the time with our friends.
