We stayed here late August 2022 in site 310 which is a pull through W/S/E site carrying a 30' 5th-wheel. The cost was $70 with tax. Pros: Check in was easy, online, and we were able to get a same day site. Staff was polite upon check-in, but I could tell she was frazzled that we were interrupting her 30 mins before closing (so ... I mean .. I'm trying to find pros here). They have a really good washer/dryer area that we used. Cost was reasonable to wash and dry. We did 4 loads for less than $15 for a family of 5 who'd been on the road for a few days. The sites were very level. Cons: They have this weird thing about the wifi that was told to us at check-in. We had to get to the site, test the wifi for a free 30 minutes to ensure the site worked with it, and if it did, we had to go back to the office to get a second access for the wifi and pay for each device individually. There was no way to pay online for this which is ridiculous. We arrived 30 minutes before close, so if I hadn't of hauled butt, we would not have been able to check-in or get the wifi. There is no late check-in procedure. There is a lot of road noise at this location. The locations are very close together with many seasonal sections throughout the camp. The pool was super cold with the section that looked the most fun with the slides and splash area was closed. Both pools were very dirty on the bottom and looked as if they had not been cleaned in awhile. This place was good in a pinch, but we'd probably not come back if we were passing through again. They need to put more effort into the upkeep of the grounds. read more

We arrived there just before they closed for the season and they accommodated us for a day or two after they closed for the season. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is very beautiful and has lots if amenities and can accommodate us with an HDT with 5th wheel in a pull thru. Located in Northern Indiana. Just a few miles from Michigan boarder in the heart of Amish country and RV manufacturing capital of the world. read more

Clean, fun, quiet,and just what we wanted. We've visited a couple of times and always had a great time. Staff always helpful, and kind. My kids love to ride bikes around the whole place, catch fish in the pond, and play om the play ground. Swimming in the pool is a great way to cool off in the summer heat! Very easy to get to from South Bend, Elkhart, and the surrounding areas. The other campers are always nice and helpful. This is a gem you need to try!!! read more

Location was nice - loved the Bonnyville Mill trail access! Bathrooms were kept relatively clean and the one-ply toilet tissue was kept in stock. They don't bundle the wood you buy from them, so it makes it a pain to load individual logs into the car. Seems rather lazy not not bundle them. We were in a tent and no one came to warn us of the severe thunder storm or where we could take shelter, so that's a huge negative. There was a tornado warning apparently and 100 mph winds forecasted, but I found out from another camper. I had two other camp sites warn us of severe weather and where to go for shelter when we were previously camping during a storm in years past, so I was shocked at the utter disregard for our safety. read more

We travel regularly in our class A motorhome and have visited many different campgrounds. Sadly Eby's Pines is the worst one we have ever stayed at. We are grateful we only needed to be here one night while driving a long distance. Yet appalled that it cost $61 a night! First, they are understaffed and so busy they will not take calls or return calls. This is no secret - previous reviews mention it and so does there own recording. Yet while checking in and out there was a gentleman (different person each time) sitting in the back corner with legs crossed not offering to help customers or answer phones. The staff is rude. First comment by the woman checking me in was a snarky: "Oh. You have a pull through." Me: "Yea that's what I booked. We have a toad and a big rig so that makes life much easier." She was clearly judging me and I realized bigger units aren't welcome here - but remover they are only 2 exits away from the Newmar factory! Even as you drive in people put down their cheap beers to glare. Almost every site has their trucks, cars and golf carts parked everywhere making it very difficult to drive. The other campers aren't friendly either - ie don't let your dog even pee on the tree on the road edge of someone's spot. Since they don't take phone calls they use a third party vendor to book your reservation online and charge your credit card. They advise you (upon check in) that your card will he charged $10 if you do not return the gate card - which is completely fair and understandable. But! If the office is open do not return the card to the box out front please bring it in. Guess they are too busy to collect the cards. One would think they'd want less traffic in the office (being understaffed and with COVID) just to return a gate pass. I inquired upon check out about how long my credit card information would be available to be charged. While I returned my gate card and had no issues, I was concerned the the website did not clearly state the length of time my account number could be charged. The staff admitted they didn't know the answer but it was "awhile." They reassured me they are PCI compliant but the fact they use a service that they can not explain is poor business practice and a huge risk for fraud. Currently the state of Indiana has a state wide mask mandate due to COVID. There is no mention of this at Eby's Pines. They do have a sign requesting social distance in the store/office, but masks are not required or even suggested anywhere. No limits on number of people in common areas, buildings, etc. Ironically, they are not allowing Saturday night visitors due to Covid but this is laughable because the campground is basically packed like sardines. We couldn't completely extend our awning without hitting the neighbor's tree! You can literally touch your neighbors. I've seen studio apartments in downtown Chicago with more space. What most campgrounds would use for a full campsite site this place has two to three units. There is no privacy or space. You can't social distance here. They way people are double parking and crammed into spaces makes it impossible to even use the pull through sites as pull throughs. We had to have people move their vehicles just so we could make the turn out of our space and that was after backing up and adjusting multiple times by an experienced driver. What is even more disappointing is the close Proximity to RV dealers and factories! I hope no one that is new to this lifestyle stops here and thinks this is how it is. Talk about a disappointing deterrent. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! NOR ACCEPTABLE. There are also animal holes everywhere - 6 on just our site and they are the perfect way to injure ankles and knees. Especially when it's dark out. It's a huge safety hazard. None are marked so walking around your unit just to hook up to water is a risk. Clearly they have a rodent problem they are not dealing with. I mentioned just the credit card security concerns and the blatant lack of following health department guidelines at check out and was met with excuses and wide eyes. Covid is just one of many contagious worries here. Trailer parks on episodes of cops are nicer than this facility. So grab your Busch beer, take out your teeth and get your vaccines before you book at stay! read more

I wish I could provide a detailed description of the stay here. Unfortunately I cannot because on the way to the park my MH broke down on highway 80 by a town called Howe. My rig was towed off the highway. thank goodness A holiday Inn express was situated at the next off ramp. As it was close to 5 on a Friday, I was unable to secure a mobile mechanic prior to the following Monday. I contacted the park staff to let them know I would need to cancel due to the mechanical breakdown. I was told that I would still be charged the night rate because I was outside the cancellation period. I understand the policy for persons who change their minds at the last moment. However, I was physically unable to get there. I was told that they couldn't make an exception because other people might try using a mechanical breakdown as an excuse to cancel at the last minute. I offered to send the receipt I received from the tow company as proof that I was in fact stranded a mere 30 minutes away. My offer of proof was denied. I feel very sad for these people who are obviously incapable of showing empathy for someone in distress. Apparently the one night of $50.00 mean more than showing a human kindness. If you make a reservation, I would recommend you ensure you don't become ill, breakdown or have any emergency circumstances that would prevent you from making the date with this park.... Informationally the two other parks I had to cancel due to the timing of the Mobile mechanic provided me a full refund and wished me luck. The reservation process went well. The confirming e-mail was quite thorough. The desk person was friendly. Now to the campsite......as full time volunteers for the National Parks for 9 years, living in the RV, we get into ALOT of campgrounds. This was the tightest, closest spot we have ever been in.....my husband had to back out. The fire pits were nice, but with the crowded conditions, we were afraid to use it. The ground conditions of the campsite left alot to be desired. Sand and a few weeds.....very little grass or gravel. Now to the atmosphere: campers are a friendly group, open and welcoming and helpful. Not so at Eby, or at least with our neighbors!! No one came out to welcome us or talk. Our next door neighbor came over to see where we had moved OUR picnic table (we had to slip his water hose out of our picnic table legs). After checking it out he shook his head and shot a dirty look at my husband (inside) and left. The neighbor across the street was unhooking a trailer from his truck. His little 6 yr old boy was trying to pull a cotter pin from the steel ramp to release it. Very dangerous. My husband spoke to him in a friendly tone " hey Buddy, be careful", The Dad looked up long enough to give my hubby a dirty look. He never said a word. Most unfriendly, cold and standoffish! Love this camp ground. Only three stars, You ask? Park is getting better with the dog run. Sites need updated a little. Pool needs TLC, rules need to be enforced at the pool. The online reservations is the biggest fail, you must pay your bill in full, no this was not during a holiday weekend or week. Normally I would do a called in for a reservation and pay 1/2, but depends who is running the desk. I look forward to more improvements at this place. And will update the review. read more

The campground is nice but the staff especially the lady in the office very rude and short with you and are not very friendly and when you call the office they never pick up or call you back even if you leave a message. Their seasonal rates are a little pricey. read more

Had a good time camping with some friends in an adjacent lot. The pool was refreshing (cold) due to the recent weather. Kids didn't care though. The water slide is nice for the kids under 12. Some site specific issues: The water connection for our lot was pretty far away. It was further away than my neighbors electric hookup. We don't connect water to our pop-up but we do set up a dish washing station. Not real convenient to wash up in someone else's lot. The seasonal site behind us was trashed. Bikes and lawn chairs lying around. Golf carts filled with junk. Dog food disposed in the fire pit. The flies loved that. Our lot was not well shaded but did have good grass coverage. Pros: Nice big pool, shallow enough for kids. Lifeguard on duty too. Trail to Bonneyville Mill County park Discounts given for skating and laser tag located across the street. Cons: Paths are gravel which can get dusty and also irritated my wife's plantar fasciitis. Urinals are a flush free "water saving" design. They smell. I noticed some minor trash throughout the park. Not major but obvious. Staff need to patrol. Wi-Fi is not free. read more

The sites are small and packed together and there's a fair amount of road noise. The clerk told us we'd have to back in, but the site turned out to be a pull-through so she didn't know much about the park. We paid for two nights, but the clerk only put us down for one, so they turned off our gate card before we returned from sight seeing, even though our trailer was still there. We asked for a couple of extra hours on the last day for another visit, but they said we'd have to remove our trailer from the site, even though there were many open sites. read more

Pros: Campground area was beautiful, staff is very friendly, price is affordable, and location is close to where we purchased our trailer (which was a huge plus since we had issues with the brake controller). Cons: Pool was closed although it was a weird 92 degree fall weather. We were here for 3 nights and my kids got somewhat bored with only have the play structure. read more

This is a campground that is close if you don't want to travel far. It is a private campground so you PAY dearly for the privilege. The sites are small, with golf carts EVERYWHERE. The do have a lot to do for children. IMO, Potato Creek State Campground is a much better choice. They don't have full hook-ups, but you can stay for half the price and it's MUCH more peaceful. read more

I really love this Northern Indiana campground. I usually come in the spring and fall because I really enjoy hiking at Bonneyville Mills County Park, Kayaking on one of the nearby rivers, and visiting the shops at Shipshewanna. The park is more of a resort and has 2 really nice pools, 2 fishing Ponds, Miles and Miles of Connected trails to a big County Park, and more. They also offer cabins for rent and have tons of children's activities. The wifi is a professional system and is very strong and useful. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PARK TO ANYBODY! read more

This was a stop over for us and the rain has been following us. Needless to say it poured all night. Didn't sleep well, heard some traffic in the distance. I can say I really think this place is overpriced. The place we stayed at prior to this was gorgeous and it was just about $20 less. There aren't any discounts either. There is a pool which we couldn't use because of rain, laundry, shower, camp store and they do have cabins to rent. Thee also is a fishing pond. There are over 300 sites/cabins. I wouldn't stay here again because of cost. read more

We chose Eby's Pines because of its convenient location. Anyone traveling 80 east/west in need of full hook-ups could consider. Personally we will not stay there again. Office folks were very matter-of-fact on the phone saying there was no pull-through availability, but on arrival in the evening and the next morning there remained multiple. Instead we were squished in a very congested area, having to detach with no room to park our truck. The grounds are clean but very chaotic with kids on bikes and golf carts all over. Many of the sites were spacious, but many were very haphazard and not easily accessible at all. Wifi access is available at a charge, which would be ok if the pricing weren't already fairly high and folks more friendly. Seems like folks who are overnight are very secondary and is catering to seasonal or long-term users. When asking about more accommodating space, we were just told very snippy, "that's all we have available," which wasn't true. read more
