Having put color on my hair, feeling lazy and knowing I leave some color behind I went to EC salon nearby. It was no problem for them to give me a wash only. The salon had about 5 other customers. Juan was introduced to me and started washing my hair. The massage was incredible. The smell of the shampoo ... like Chanel no.5 (as he put it), was so relaxing. Having traveled extensively around the world and being middle aged (yawn), I can honestly say, this was the best ever hair wash. I wanted to take him home with me. He told me he was just going to take some of the wetness off before letting me out the salon and I left with almost a blow dry. Drinks are served in beautiful glasses. Their is cake available for everyone. Other services I saw were Mani's and Pedi's and they also offer waxing (which thankfully I didn't see ). I can't wait to go back. Juan will need to be working. I would not recommend this salon. They did a great job, I was there for 3 1/2 hours, but the staff was highly unfriendly to me. They greeted everyone else that walked in very warm and friendly like they've known them for years, but maybe it was because I was a first time client (which shouldn't be the case anyway) and I think it was also the fact that I did not speak Spanish, but I received dirty looks from the second I walked in by every staff member, to the second I left. I was left unattended for almost 2 hours with foils in, and then sat at the bowl for over an hour which was highly uncomfortable and caused bruising on the back of my neck. I have gotten my hair done every month & a half for 8 years, and a hair salon is supposed to be a relaxing and safe space, this was about the opposite. Iwalked in at 230 and made appointment for 450 with a hairdresser and I specially requested someone because the woman that cut my hair the last time did a terrible job. I explained that to the receptionist at the time I made the appointment. when I arrived they tried to make me use the woman that did a bad job. I left and will not return. read more

I absolutely love them. They are friendly, professional and top of all talented. I have been doing my hair with Emerson for 4 years now and Every time I go he uses different techniques that keeps my hair at the color I want but still makes it look different. It was a great experience. The staff is very well prepared to receive customers in this new normal due to covid-19. They all wear matching EC masks, eveything was sanitized and customers spread all over to respect the 6feet distance. I went to do hair coloring. My roots were big and the rest of my hair a bit stained due to quarantine. Juan was an excellent professional. I loved the result! The color is beautiful and shiny! I had my hair done with Gisely, walked in looking for an appointment ended up doing it right then and there. I wanted to have my orange ombré rejuvenated with an ash look, I showed her a picture that I found online so she can have a visual and that's when the magic started. Full head of highlights in less than 30min and each foil was checked every 15. I was nervous that i would have a color block of dark roots to white tips but she blended it perfectly. My hair even looks longer after I was done, their products are top of the line and they smell wonderful, the team worked together with finishing up with removing foils. After having this salon recommended to me by a friend, I went in for a simple haircut (straight cut). The hair cut was good, a little pricey since I had thick long hair but nonetheless I got what I wanted. I like the cut. While I was there I was offered other services like microblading. I didn't want my eyebrows done but instead I asked if they could dye my hair since I had seen the reviews, pictures, and the balayage done on my friend's hair which all looked pretty good. I thought, ok they definitely know what they were doing BUT the website stated they're blonde experts and I'm not blonde. That should've been my warning sign. I asked them to do a berry red on my entire head (solid color) and I showed them pictures of what I wanted. I had many different girls working on me (about 4 or 5). To make it short, they dyed only the top of my head (the crown) a crimson red -think Red from Orange in the New Black- that I never asked for and left the bottom brown. I know what you're going to say- virgin hair - NO. They applied color only to the top of my head as if they were doing my roots, let me sit there for an hour to the point of frying my hair, and then brushed down all the dye and washed it out. In the salon light, it looked pretty and I wasn't impressed but I thought it was a solid color. However when I got home and all my friends and family are asking why my hair is two colors, I knew I went to the wrong place. I live NJ so I can't go back and get it re-done and I paid $284 plus a very hefty 30% tip, as there were so many girls working on me for 3 hours. To be frank, it looks like I did my own hair with box dye and I guarantee I could've done a better job. They left my ear and forehead dyed red and yanked a fresh ear piercing that I warned them about 3 times. I would not recommend this salon, unless you're blonde or just looking for a simple cut. I am extremely disappointed by this experience and am waiting for my hair to heal before getting it fixed. read more

Came here a couple times before , service was good ... color was good no complains .... then recently I came on Friday for the same hair color and treatment..... they put me with a girl I never seen before but it was ok I trusted she knew what she was doing . When it came to washing my hair she put a product to remove the color off my edges of my face like they normally do ....this time it was like a awful burning feeling like I thought my face was on fire I told the girl something is wrong I feel my face is burning and she continued to assure me it was fine and I told her to stop and put cold water to remove the product ! Terrible . She must have seen my skin turning a bright red color which would have indicated a bad reaction to which ever product she was using . After the hair was finished being rinsed I figured it would be a short throbbing pain and it would go away so I didn't complain to anyone and I paid and left the salon . After I got home my husband noticed like a blistery looking red patches around my face where the product was applied ... so that being 4 hours after the service the skin was still throbbing like a serve chemical burn I called the salon and the girl answering at the front desk said oh don't worry it will go away I ask to speak to the manager and she said she was busy .... so I suggested I come back to the salon for them to take a look and she said ya I guess if you want come . So I came back and the lady showed me the product that was supposedly used and Then wanted to spray something else from a can on my burns and I said no way ! They explained it was just water that they would spray but anything that comes from a can also has chemicals and who knows that reaction it could cause on top of the chemical burn I had from the previous product . She tried explaining me my skin had a reaction .... OBVIOUSLY.... but obviously the girl they put me with used a different product than the previous visits I had and not only that but was to busy not focusing to realize that my skin was bright red from the product and ignored me saying it was burning . Very unprofessional... the manager acted sorry and just kept asking me if my color was good ??? I didn't understand what my hair color being good had to do with the chemical burns on the side of my face ???!!!! but nothing they could do . So I went to urgent care where they looked at it and prescribed me a antibiotic cream for chemical burn . Please be careful going here if they stick you with some one you have never seen .. ...! I walked in and got an appointment straight away. I wanted highlights but wasn't consulted on colour or had a choice! I was offered a water but as soon as I got up it was cleared before I drank it. No one spoke to me. I don't speak Spanish so I was completely lost. Felt very uncomfortable was not a nice experience. The salon is fresh modern gorgeous floors all white and sleek! Every single person is friendly!! I wanted to make an appointment but she said I needed to have someone look at my hair first. I told her I was going to pass by in two weeks to have someone see my hair. I live far from this place (Boca Raton) I wasn't able to go however I really needed my hair done so I reached out to them again on Instagram and was able to make an appointment. Few days after I received a bunch of text messages which I could not reply because I am a teacher and do not get signal. The text messages were confirming an appointment for the next day which I did not make, I made it for the following Saturday. When I was able to reply I told her my appointment was on the following Saturday. All she said was ok. I received a call a day before my appointment telling me they needed to change the time. I told them I couldn't but that we could reschedule. She told me to call on Tuesday so she could see what was available (made no sense) today is Tuesday. I called and she had the nerves to tell me she needed to charge me up front for canceling three times. Canceling 3 times? What a fucking joke. She called me to move my time which I could not do. I NEVER cancelled my appointment. When I was explaining to her I did not cancel that they were the ones who called me to change my time, she was extremely disrespectful.
