These people stole $200 from me. I went in for a hair color $110 and the blonde curly hair old lady was hitting my head with the brush dying my scalp as if I'm a canvas painting and scratched the back of my head with the brush while parting my hair. Also somehow got dye all over my cheek. I left with my hair all wet and the owner has the audacity to tell me stay for a hair cut after which I originally wanted and he got mad I said the people here don't dye hair well and told the lady to charge me for a double process which is for hair lightening when my hair is black and that never happened. They stole $200 from me. I confronted him and asked for a refund and he blamed me saying I was rude because I was rude after they hurt me physically and he blocked me!!! He said I did this problem because I want a free service? These people are idiots. Claiming he's been in America 22 years? I am American. I'm born and raised here and I've never seen anything like this happen ANYWHERE!!! This place has terrible workers and scammers highly do not recommend. The guy worked super fast, over lapped bleached blonde hair with more bleach. Broke my hair and made it super freeze. Didn't listen to my request and did what ever he wanted. Imagine having a back to back highlight which takes atleast 2-3 hours and the guy finished in 1 hour. Every time I tried to say something he said I was offending him. Hair MASTERY! I've now been to this salon twice, and each time had the best hair cuts of my life! Prior to U Style no one had been able to give my fine, limp hair volume and movement - to the point that I just stopped getting it cut. I'd go 5 years between cuts and just let it grow. For me, it was a big investment to trust someone with my hair. To do something more than a simple cut. But this second time I went I knew that the skill Simon and his team brings to the table is worth it! In this salon you don't see one person for the full experience. There are pros each step of the way, from the shampooing (Alessandra is delightful!) to the quick and talented cut and color by Simon, to the toning and styling by Alex- they all stay in their zone of genius and you move through the salon at different stations like a well-oiled machine! COVID infested, unprofessionally run, no idea what he is doing. If you are thinking about going here think again. The owner will tell you he can do it all but really he has no idea what he is doing. I stopped going initially because it's overpriced and the service lacks quality, care, and technique. I had to go back twice to fix what he couldn't do the first time. Then after long consideration and apparently years of amnesia, I went back. Same thing happened. I told him what i wanted, showed him a picture and instead of chocolate brown with caramel highlights around the face, I got all over highlights that didn't blend and looked more like something you would see in a trailer park movie. I told him it wasn't what I wanted and he put toner all over and called it a day. Sent me to someone else to style me and didn't come back. I later asked a few stylists friends what I should do and they all said to tell him true truth. So I did and he lashed out. See screen shot below. I had to block him because he kept harassing me. I wish I could give this place zero stars since the owner has been SO rude to me when I posted a negative review instead of trying to make it better. I brought my 4 year old for a haircut. He recommended his brother because he "makes more money on women he can't waste time on kids anymore." I made an appointment and again asked if the technician (his brother) is good. He promised yes. My poor son's hair was mutilated. Thank goodness it will grow. On top of everything they charged $35 for a kid's haircut. I didn't want to make a scene. In response the owner told me to learn English and kept "LoL"ing me like the whole thing was a joke. Terrible. The salon recently changed hands. DON'T GO UPDATE: Since posting the review the owner sent me an emoji screen shot of vomit. While I don't think the cost is appropriate for a 4 year old toddler my main complaint is his brother Matan made my child look like he escaped from an asylum. This is a long time overdue review. I stopped coming to this salon last year. The last drop was a keratin treat for my hair that was all done in 15 min ( application and flat iron seating) - for which I was charged $300. Yes, I complained to owner, Simon, right wary - because u know u have to seal keystone to work. He was defensive by offered to come back in 1 month if I am not satisfied for a free redo. Which yes, I did. He played me well. He went to ask his worker to do it - and they both decided that I don't need it. I have not been disrespected in hair salon ever like that. Mind you for my highlights every 6 months I would come and drop $700-800. But over 3 years there were major flags. One time base they forgot about me in shampoo station for 30 additional min and my hair got over processed. Like broken stranded were falling on my shoulders! I took few hair and pulled apart and they were like glue. His sister who works there - started aggressively brash my hair which I literally had to stop her by standing up. Yeah, because she did not care whatsoever about me just asking her to stop. Anyhow, never again. read more

SCAMMERS. Simon sold me two packages of hair extensions of the worst quality, super dry and damaged hair. I could only use them for a month. I asked him to removed them out of my hair and he told me that he would send them back to the manufacturer to give me a refund. After two weeks he told me that he could only give me a store credit. Store credit for what ?? to buy shampoo ?? I wouldn't let this guy to touch my hair again. He kept the extensions which I was charged $ 350 each package. So I lost $700 for damage hair I only wear for one month. Going to that place was an very expensive mistake for me. Jonathan damaged my hair! Be very careful because he used the scissors without care at all. It's almost evil! He cut my sideburns really short! And makes me sad because my hair is gonna take forever to grow based on how short he cut close to scalp, like a length for a man! I had a beautiful long hair when I went to get a haircut from him! So the strip of hair down each side of my face in front of my ears are very short and starting to grow back! It's awful! I sent a video to the owner showing him! I hope he does something about it! Well, that's not the worst part! The worst part is that he was using the scissor to untangled my hair! So he was brushing/cutting to untangle the hair, now that is growing back I found patches of hair in the top of my head that are pointing up cause they are so short! I have to use gel to keep down until it grows back! My hair was nice and abundantly beautiful! now I have those awful short hair patches! I was in Miami for a wedding, and was recommended to this salon by a friend of mine who is from the area. I requested a simple blow-out, and loved the end result. They were very quick with the blow-out, and left after 40 minutes or so. My hair was silky and smooth, with simple waves from the blow dryer, and no iron was needed. My hair stayed throughout the whole night, despite the muggy and drizzly Miami weather. read more

I have been a client at this salon for over 15 years. This was even before Simon bought the salon from Danny Mizrachi. I have written many checks in the past. I was there on Friday 7/8/22 for a manicure and pedicure. I changed purses and forgot my card. I went yesterday to tip the manicurist and pay them the $70.00 I owed them and was told I couldn't pay by check it was a new policy. A new policy that they NEVER informed their customers about. There is no signage for their new policy. They also raised their prices and NEVER informed their clientele of the increase neither. In any reputable business when there are changes that are upcoming, they post a sign letting their customers know what the change is and when it is going into effect. The owner Simon I guess is uninformed and doesn't know that businesses still take personal checks and E-checks. If he is concerned about insufficient funds you can verify prior to accepting the check. Also, returned checks can be sent to the State Attorney's office for prosecution. He tried to compare his business to Gucci, and Prada which is quite laughable at best. He currently has a customer that pays by check weekly. This is Discrimination when there is disparate treatment of people. As the owner Simon sometimes acknowledges you and says hello and other times he walks right by and doesn't. Who does that? He's ill-mannered and unprofessional. Does his business not have a bank account to deposit their money? It's amazing that people continue to patronize this business because they have left me with a very bad taste in my mouth for the last time. I feel sorry for his employees. I have heard from his employees that he even has held back their pay. I found it hard to believe but after my phone call with him yesterday and past treatment I can see they were NOT lying. I requested an appointment for the same day I called. Luckily, they were able to take me at 2:30pm. The front desk staff was very accommodating and I was very impressed at how much time the colorist took with the consultation. She was very professional and listened to what I wanted. I can say I loved the results. I asked for highlights at the roots and the temples and she accommodated me. I will definitely recommend this salon to friends and family. Sivan did my hair about 3 weeks ago and she's the best! I highlight my hair every 3-4 months and unfortunately until now I had a few hair stylists that just damaged my hair. I don't let anyone but Simon color my hair! I've been going to him for over five years and I can honestly say I've never met anyone who does hair as good as he does... ever! He's a perfectionist with color and the salon is always clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating! Beyond disappointed with salon. Simon was recommended by several people for color. I arrived in time, was directed to his chair and ignored for almost a half hour. I was told to get what I want (base and a few chunky highlights) the cost would be 425.00 which seemed outrageous- however, I was desperate for amazing color and agreed. What I left with was anything but amazing. The color was soooo dark that it will take color correcting to achieve the color I wanted- the few highlights that were put in were barley visible. I was sooo behind schedule after waiting for so long that I had to rush out to get my kids. When I got home, I had several people comment on my hair in a negative way and shock when I told them the cost for what had been done. I called Simon and the salon several times to discuss and hopefully repair the damage. Never a return call. Disappointed and never will return to salon read more

There are no times in my life where I felt compelled to leave a bad review for a hair salon. In this case the customer service is the reason why you should avoid this salon. They nickel and dime you without explaining the expense in advance covertly surprise you with hidden costs at the end. I paid over four times the average cost for a hair color including tip and they made me pay for the correction after leaving uneven highlights on the left side. I asked in advance that the correction would not be included in the bill yet they included it anyway and tried to claim that they gave me a free blow dry when they certainly did not. Nice people work there, super sweet staff, and great vibe + talented staff, but unfortunately the poor management has caused a less than happy experience for somebody who just moved to Miami and was looking for a long-term relationship. Not a good vibe when you feel taken advantage of. Way over priced for what you get. If they didn't overprice everything then I would not have had the expectations of superior customer service. Extremely disappointed with the salon. Came in for a haircut wash and blow. Husband Made appt over the phone confirmed on price with owner Simon for $85. As I walked in for my 2:30pm I was NOT greeted, the receptionist didn't even look up and appeared to have an attitude. She said, "Name?" That was the limit of our interaction. No hello no how are you nothing. I already had a bitter taste in my mouth. Simon greeted me and I had explained I wanted tips cut off and bangs and specifically told him not to give me ANY layers and not to take the scissors and diagonally run them through my hair to make a shape around my bangs. I went for my wash, the lady brushed my hair and as I sat down he was already with scissors in hand cutting somebody else's hair as I waited for him to approach me he continued speaking to somebody else and proceeded to cut off my hair keeping in mind he periodically looked down at my hair while constantly keeping his eyes on somebody else I didn't really appreciate that no matter how amazing he thinks that he is I didn't come for his show. I came for a haircut. He spent about four minutes in TOTAL cutting the back of my hair and I saw that he took off quite a lot much more than I had asked. The entire time he was NOT looking at my hair and talking with other people. Then another lady came to blow dry me and he again left to cut someone else's hair. He came back and with the scissors razored down each side of my bangs on dry hair exactly what I told him NOT TO DO. So tacky and trendy and cheap looking. He has zero class and his receptionist has zero class. This is not the place for me and there is nothing classic or iconic about this salon. As if that was not enough, when it was time to pay he told me $105. Without argument I left him that and twenty tip. It was as if I was followed by a heard of cows when it was time to pay, again no thank u from receptionist no how do u like ur hair just give me $105. Feeling disappointed about my hair and treatment I left and spoke with my husband who told me that it was supposed to be $85 I called back and the receptionist said hat because other people were working in my hair he charged me more. I said that made no sense then spoke with Simon and went back for full refund. My husband said we were going to put bad review for his bad attitude and business and so here it is. They felt necessary to call police to make a report against my husbands call because he felt threatened that we told him we would place a very bad review. This is a trashy place with trashy clientele and made me feel like I was getting ripped off by someone who calls himself a master tech and needs to beg for a job in super cuts. He couldn't even part my hair down the center. Will NEVER recommend will not go back and the place that was there before is the same low like salon. Nothing changed just a bunch of hooplah!!! This is a kind of place to go to if u have no taste or style. Customer service is extremely poor. There is a constant turnover in receptionists and they consistently make mistakes in overbooking, in booking stylists on their day off and or canceling less than 30 minutes before the appointment. Simon is an excellent colorist but his salon does not respect the time of his clients as they cancel or change the appointments in an untimely fashion that shows obvious disrespect and consideration for their clients' time. He overlooks himself and leaves his client sitting in the washing area while he catches up or he passes off the blow dry to his sister or his assistant when the appointment was made with Simon. It's truly unfortunate as the location is convenient for me but after too many frustrating experiences, I will never set foot in that salon again. read more

I'm writing this review as I wait to get my nails done. Let me start by saying that it's been a busy morning to say the least and I still have a flight to catch before its all said and done. I was late for my appointment; totally my fault but it couldn't be helped. After hearing my situation, the owner himself went way above and beyond to squeeze me. He literally spent 10 minutes of his time taking action to move things around to accommodate me for the nail service. In this day and age this kind of attention to customer service is unheard of. I can not express enough how much I am in awe of the willingness and action taken in order to accommodate me. I will not only come back when I'm in town but I will recommend this salon to my family and friends in the area. This place is run by a pro who understands the concept of a service related business.
