We had a traditional Hindu wedding and Yellow Hook gave us an incredible 3 days of coverage for the Sangeet, Baraat, Ceremony, and Reception! 3 sets of Blu-Rays, and a portable hard drive with full-edited, and raw footage were provided to us in just a couple months time, a very reasonable turnaround. My wife was very particular when selecting our vendors. She had been planning our wedding for a year, and researched all the vendors in NYC, Boston, DC before finalizing on YellowHook. She knew that although this may have been one of their first traditional Indian weddings they would definitely deliver...and they did. We booked her for our wedding in 2020 (not knowing what was to come), and were really impressed when she scheduled an engagement photoshoot with us. We were very camera shy, but she made us feel so comfortable and really helped us come out of our shells for some beautiful photos. We were so excited for the wedding, but were devastated when we had to postpone. Lindsey was super understanding and kept working with us as we worked out a new date in 2021. Luckily, restrictions were loosened a couple months before our wedding so we were on! Because I have epilepsy and can't be around flash, we did the shoot outdoors and tried several locations in my neighborhood. She encouraged me to be playful, and we tried many angles, moods and backgrounds. I had so many good shots to choose from that it was a struggle to pick. I ended up choosing four instead of just one. We worked and spoke mostly to Christian but he and his whole team are unbelievably professional and very personable. We had our first face to face meeting to discuss EVERYTHING and from there on we communicated back and forth mostly via emails and phone calls. His response time was quick and within a reasonable time frame. He was always very clear and there was never any confusion whats so ever- we were always on the same page. He really worked with us in how we wanted our wedding to be filmed and provided a lot of great suggestions. Even though at times we felt like our ideas were a bit overboard Christian was very receptive. The day of our wedding, his team was with us from the morning till our last dance. They worked really well with my other vendors from my makeup artist to my photographer, which is really important especially if they never met; you want the photographer and videographer to be in sync with one another.
