    Goat curry

I recently discovered this gem, not for their cakes which customers buy in abundance, but for their curries. I have enjoyed the goat curry and fish pulusu weekly without exception. The food is tasty, the ingredients fresh, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend them.

This joint used to be Hot Beads before they had them take the name off. The place also burned down a few years ago. Food: the food here is good. They have very good South Indian dishes. The paper Dosa is really big. Ample sambhar and chutney are also served. You cannot go wrong with the pastries for something sweet after the meal. Service: the service is subpar. Sometimes the guy doesn't even greet the customer. I understand we are paying and you are serving food, but it doesn't hurt to say hi & thank you. Ambience: the seating area is also below average. It gets crowded and the tables are not always clean.

$18 for a biryani for the average quality and quantity provided. Not so great for the price.

Good for the price and to take out. Specials of the day are very good but frequently run out. Masala chai is superb.

Case in point, Pillsbury's Tunnel of Fudge Bundt Cake contests in the late 60's/early 70's that brought the heretofore niche German ring cake to homemaker prominence in the US. The specter of the Pillsbury Dough Boy dressed as a latter day Burgher Meister/Meister Burgher was truly comedy gold. That doughy androgenous spokesthing was truly they/them before those designations were even on the cultural horizon. You might even say the Doughboy was the Ziggy Stardust of Package Goods marketing. He did however bring the Bundt Cake into the mainstream for which I am eternally grateful. All of which is to say that Nothing but Bundt Cakes is terrific offering these high density circular treats with enough sweet icing to melt your molars. Great stuff all around and in the bakery desert known as Princeton a very welcome addition. Five very easy stars.

The woman at the counter welcomed me and let me know they had samples of red velvet cake to try. After having their red velvet cake with chocolate chips inside, I loved how these did not. Even in small portions, the cake was amazing. A couple of days prior, I received an email about their new churro bundt cakes, so I already knew which one I wanted. I appreciated how the icing and chocolate drizzle were soft on top. The cake itself was moist (one thing they nail every time). The star of the show was the chocolate drizzle that oozed from the inside when you got to the center. This cake is easily a 10/10.

The bent spoon always commands that kind of line and is always worth the wait. The shop itself is very small with extremely limited seats (if any) so plan to walk around town while you enjoy your ice cream. They have their usual standard flavors, and several seasonal ones that rotate. They allow samples so I'd recommend trying out their rotating flavors even if it sounds like something you normally wouldn't go for. They can make just about anything taste good!

After my first visit, Jhopri is my Restaurant of choice and I frequent the place atleast twice a month. Good ambience, friendly staff. Jhopri's takeouts are generous in serving size. Jhopri's Banquet Hall wired with top class audio systems with good ambience and atmosphere makes any event hosted there a success right at the start. My experience at the banquet hall has been good. The owner appeared to spend much of the evening drinking and talking, which often interrupted the flow of the karaoke program and reduced opportunities for others to sing. I also felt that personal boundaries were not always respected, and some interactions with female guests appeared overly familiar, like touching females. During the recent month karaoke the owner hugged a female in the most embarrassing awkward way, in the pretext of asking sorry, that she had to struggle to get of. He keeps hugging every female for some reasons. High time he stops misusing his event. Do not touch a female unnecessarily. A karaoke event should be welcoming and respectful for everyone present. A little more professionalism, decorum, and consideration for participants would go a long way toward improving the experience. If you organize an event, it should primarily be for the enjoyment of the guests, not for yourself.
