Kansas concert Eccles theater

We love going to concerts here . All the seating is good & the sound is amazing . We love how easy it is to get in & out of this location . The workers are all so helpful & happy . This theater is so clean & the concession prices are good . We have been to several concerts here & have enjoyed every one . I like how it's a smaller venue. It seats 2500. If you get the opportunity to see a concert here you won't be disappointed.

We had a blast at the Eccles. We came in off of State St to Regents for garage parking. Very fast service, it was only $5, no cash. This is seriously such a gorgeous, immaculate venue. Multiple security measures in place. Checking purses, and also metal detectors. Clean facility. Beautiful stage and ceiling looks like a night sky full of stars. We have seen multiple shows, concerts and musicals here. It's truly magical. Eccles Theater gets better with each experience -- five stars!!

The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater (commonly shortened to the Eccles Theater) is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. There truly is not a bad seat in the house. We were there to see HAMILTON. Excellent show !!! Hamilton narrates Alexander Hamilton's life. Lot of energy within the show...a must see.

Been here once to see Jo Koy. This was the perfect sized venue for a comedy show. All seats get a good view and the seating spacing is standard. There are no cup holders in the seats, so that's a bummer. Pricing on concessions was reasonable, and there were plenty of bathrooms so that the line went quickly. Parking was available right around the corner for a reasonable rate. And eating options are plenty within walking distance to grab a bite before the show. I'd see a comedy show here again.

This is such a beautiful place! I love the fun lighting and every production I've been to here has been fantastic! I've seen Frozen, Mamma Mia and Gentry. The people who work at the theater are helpful and kind as well. My mom doesn't like how there isn't a will call and tickets are done with QR codes but she doesn't know how to use technology very well. I will be coming to the Eccles theater many more times in the future!

I went to the Bob Dylan concert yesterday. The concert wasn't great, but the venue is. The pictures I did upload, were from seeing Buddy Guy. That concert was great. I've sat in the box seats, front 4 row section, central main floor seating, but not the balconies in the back. It's nice to be at a place where the music sounds good. The seats are comfortable, and they even have cup holders. I've been to events where you just show a ticket and go in, but also where you have to go through a gauntlet to get your phone and electronics sealed before entering, and having to show proof of vaccination. Even in those situations, they have things running smoothly. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. This is just an excellent event venue.

I echo the sentiments of many other reviewers here and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Just saw Mama Mia and Styx recently and was pleasantly surprised that even on the third tier the sound and view were amazing. I have always noted that the sound quality is exceptional which is sometimes lacking at other theaters. I love the lights on the ceiling like stars. My only gripe is the stairways can get congested after shows and it takes a bit to exit.

The Eccles is a great theatre! There really isn't a bad seat in the house, even the last row, up at the top isn't terrible. The sound is amazing as well. The staff is knowledgeable too.

I have oft lambasted Utah for their lack of decent event venues. At this point, I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one concert or show at all of the major spots, and they are all pitiful or nearly so, save Eccles. Eccles Theater is lovely! First, there is plentiful parking available. I usually just park in the Regent Street Garage. It is located right at the back entrance and super convenient. This last time, I didn't even have to pay! The lobby of the theater is gorgeous: open, with high, high, high ceilings, recessed lighting all across them, glass staircases, and really, glass everywhere! It is quite modern, which is not usually my style, but I really like it here. The actual concert hall, Delta, is beautiful too, with teeny tiny lights sprinkled in the ether, so it appears to be covered in stars. Upholstery is velvety and warm, and the look is sort of old fashioned understated elegance. They sell limited snacks and drinks, but it is nice to have the option. For the concert I attended most recently (one of my most favorite musical artists, Glen Hansard), I had a presale code, but kept getting an error when I attempted to check out online. Slightly freaking out, I called the box office directly, and the woman I spoke to was the sweetest! My cart had held onto two sets of tickets, and she helped me figure out which were the superior seats. She was absolutely correct, as, at the show, there was a time during the performance where I actually had to lean back to see Glen because I was so close! We also had an issue where another couple was sitting in our seats, and the Eccles employees figured it out lickety split! After this concert, my husband, who plays instruments himself, is a total music snob, and doesn't particularly care for the musicians I like, declared Eccles has, by far, the best sound of any venue we've visited in Utah. I don't get all crazy about acoustics or anything, but from what I can tell, that certainly seems to be the case. We've only sat in the orchestra section, so I can't speak for the rest of the hall, but judging from other reviews, it seems there are no bad seats.

My mom recommended that we go see the Mannheim Steamroller concert and silly me only heard of one Christmas song from them for many years. They put on a great show, so many melodious songs. Lights and energy were just my style. After the show had to get their greatest hits on my smart phone. Hope they come back to Utah again, and this time want to sit on the higher tier to get a better view of the band.

I have sat through far too many productions where the sound quality was off so I did not know what was going on.

We were in town for school and decided to check out the Off Broadway Theatre. The show was sold out…read morebut there is a row in the back that is not used and we were able to snag two seats there since the young woman at the entrance was lovely. We saw Dracula vs. the Hunchback and it was fantastic! It was funny and interactive; they had great parodies for well-known songs and the actors were super entertaining. If we lived in town, we would be frequent patrons. When we return for graduation, we will be sure to come by if there is a show playing. What a completely unexpected and delightful night we were able to enjoy! I would strongly recommend it and am very grateful we had the opportunity to see the show in the rather comfortable fold up chairs. Next time we will buy tickets earlier and sit in the super comfy seats!

The snacks were inexpensive and typical movie theater fare. Think popcorn, candy and sodas. They were quick to get your snacks and were on time with the performance. Afterwards the cast will meet guests outside the theater which is a very nice addition. The ticket pricing was similar to seeing a movie. So, for something different and cost effective a great family night out!

i bought tickets for family members as a gift. we all went to "Thriller". don't waste your money…read more i am embarrassed that this was their gift. the cost is the same as Hale Theater, go there instead!!!! i'm not sure who wrote the script, they need to go back to the drawing board. the performers talents were wasted in this show!!!! soooo sooo unfortunate, so much filler that didn't make any sense. seemed like something for grade schoolers. Bubbles the Klown's opening act needs to be cut and his character changed. more dancing and singing would have been great. that's what i thought we had purchased tickets for. soo disappointing.

I'd never heard of it until I discovered that they were playing Rocky Horror Picture Show-the live version. Since our annual pilgrimage to Tower Theater didn't happen this year (thanks Covid) I was eager to find an alternative. It wasn't until my wife and I pulled into the parking lot, 30 minutes before showtime, that we realized this wasn't the movie, this was a real honest-to-goodness play. Gulp. How was this going to be? Fast forward a couple hours...it was AMAZING! I know this review isn't about the show itself, but rather the venue. So I'll say that the theater itself was beautiful, very comfortable and spacious. It accommodated a large audience nicely, with plenty of legroom and aisle space. I didn't feel cramped, like I do in other local, small theaters. Parking is plentiful, and free. I felt like our car was safe in the lot, and it was well lit, providing extra security. Now that I know this little gem is here, I'll look into what other plays they have coming up and will very likely return.
